We join the entire community to send our sincere condolences to vialli's family. May his soul rest in Heaven
I would just like to send my condolences to Graeme Souness as it's obvious that he's hurting just like so many of us who didn't even meet him. He didn't even play for my club but he was a player who I respected immensely. My condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. Rest in peace Gianluca. Thank you for the memories
Graeme Souness just showed us that behind any sports person or celebrity, there's first of all a human being.
Big respect to Souness for his kind, warm words and befitting tribute. May Gianluca Vialli's gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
Arsenal fan here. He always seemed so decent and such a warm person. You couldn't help but like him. RIP.
I used to watch channel 4 Gazzetta football Italia in the 1980s, I think a lot of us loved his swashbuckling style, I remember chatting to a ticket inspector on the Underground who had in italian name about him when Vialli first 'broke into' the Sampdoria side. No one seemed to dislike him ... always generous in interviews and he seemed like fun too. What a bloke x
What a lovely tribute from Mr Souness. Absolute class 💚
The European championship final hurt like hell as a England fan... but I'm glad vialli got to lift the trophy and have that very special moment before he passed...he was a awesome footballer and even better guy.. may he rest in peace 🙏🙏🙏

I'am a fan of Juve since 1996,i remember that games, I knew about this tragedy yesterday. It's damaged me. I love this guy he is my childhood with his skoreds with his work in Chelsea. Graham never been a fan of you as a Man U fan, however your tribute shows a great man who will always be remembered and by one of his friends who for the first time showed a side never seen before. Thanks Graham for the beautiful tribute and thanks for sharing your human side for a great man.
Un tributo straordinario da parte di Graeme Souness, che dà la misura di quanto Vialli sia stato amato sia in Italia che in Inghilterra. L'Italia perde uno dei suoi migliori sportivi, e la sua famiglia un essere umano meraviglioso. Riposa in pace Gianluca.
R.I.P respect to a humble man, first class footballer from a Leeds United 🦚🇮🇨 supporter 🕊️🏐🤝

What a nice guy
Part of my growing up.
Bought my sons first Chelsea shirt with vialli name on it
I was in tesco car park when news broke of his passing. Wife came back to the car with shopping only to see me sitting in car crying.
He meant so much to so many people
Rip Luca and thank you so much for the memories
What nice to say by Souness, that above all Vialli was a good human being. Maybe that is the highest praise one can get. Just try and be a good person, to yourself and everyone around you. That it didn't matter he was a good player, or rich or whatever. His character and his heart was good. RIP Gianluca Vialli..
Have followed Souness since he was at Boro in 70s - never heard him be so complimentary and so sincere of his love for Vialli speaks volumes of the man the player the legend.
Nice tribute to Vialli but Souness is a bit of a knob to be fair
An absolute gentleman...! What a loss 🇧🇷❤️
Heartbreaking. What an amazing human he was. Taken too soon. RIP LEGEND 🙏
Fantastic tribute. Luca was a wonderful human being. All else is secondary. The Matthew Harding Lower will miss you, Vialli. We loved you.
I was a fan of Vialli from the early 90s I was in prison and loved watching the brilliant Juventus team he led on the Italian football show every Saturday and the champions league Nice tribute from Souness
One of the nicest guys you will ever meet I don’t mind saying I shed a tear when I heard this news today great player my thoughts are with his family RIP Gianluca Vialli ❤
Always remember when Rude dropped Luca & Dennis Wise lifted up his shirt on the pitch with the message Cheer up Luca we love you. That was the respect that was shown to Luca Vialli, always a favourite at the bridge. RIP Luca 💙
I was fortunate to play golf at Denham golf club in a heart charity event with Mr Vialli some years ago he must have done many of these events ,but made me most welcome and relaxed me because frankly I was kacking my self .Never forget that day with that man .RIP fine man.

So sad that Gianluca Vialli has passed, i have supported CFC for 55years will forever be a Chelsea legend. I named my cat after Gianluca Vialli, I loved that cat.
Graham Souness is a proper bloke. Football is a mans game and he was a real man in it
RIP Gianluca what a player

Vialli was such a dynamic striker who EVERYONE in English football adored....RIP Luca
I never really knew what to make of Graham, but he’s going up exponentially in my books, his honesty and his heartfelt tribute to Gianluca 🥰
Graeme
Hed be worth 200 million today.a true legend
Not buying this Souness guy at all, never forget how he spat on the graves of the Hillsborough 96.
My feeling exactly! I liked Souness as a player, and always suspected I wouldn't care too much for him if we ever met, but this shows his human side. I can readily believe that Vialli was as special as Graeme says, and as a Chelsea fan, he was pretty special to me too. R.I.P. Gianluca, and heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
We loved him at Chelsea LEGEND
RIP Luca 🙏🙏🙏🙏. My heart goes out to you and your family friends....

Graeme wonderful words. Fantastic tribute to a wonderful human being.
RIP Gianluca a Great Man and a Great Player
I agree Graeme. As a player Vialli was incredible. A very effective striker. He always scored against us (A.S. Roma). As a person, he was gentle, funny in a often sarcastics way, but never offensive. Even if you were from other IT teams, you´ll admire him. Really nice and funny guy, beside he´s enormous skills on the pitch.
When Gianluca Vialli signed for Chelsea I met him briefly. We were in the same lift in the Harrods Department store going up to the sports department.
really touching, Graeme Souness is really a Great Man too.
RIP Luca. You gave us some good times at the bridge. What a football legend!.
Always respected him as a player and seemed just a geniunely nice guy as those who knew him have testified. Such a sad lose for football and his family and friends. RIP Luca x
RIP Gianluca. You were one of a kind. God bless you Graeme Souness. We hope your friends and family comfort you in your grief for Luca and may your pain be tempered by the wonderful memories you have of your great friend. Ray and Sue.
I don’t or have never liked Chelsea, but Vialli was one of a few you just liked no matter who he played for. Great player. Rest in peace
totally agree. and a perfect role model as well . VALE VIALLI.
Always loved this mans passion. 100% legend❤
Grhem u have a soul god bless you
Absolute legend on & off the pitch,R.I.P. 💔💔❤️❤️
A fine tribute to a very likeable and talented person.
A wonderful and kind man. You were a true genius on the field and a gentleman thru and thru. Off I watched you play many times and loved every minute you gave. With. Your. Heart and soul. I wish we had 11 of you now Godbless A Statue of you Outside the bridge please in bronze would be nice for everybody too see and touch. And feel your passion and love wherever you played. Thankyou for all you have done
Souness is a true gent despite his football persona.nearly always words of wisdom from him.
Amazing player. Was very jealous as a Spurs fan, as I'd been in awe of him for a while before he joined Chelsea. He did the Shed proud. As much as I 'disliked' Chelsea at the time, how could you not enjoy Vialli as a football fan? He was fun to watch.
Legend praising a legend. ❤🤍💙
L umiltà è il più grande valore,e luca l ha spalmata ovunque, pur vincendo ed avendo avuto tutto !♥️
What a beautiful human being and a character. Condolences go to his family. May God rest his beautiful soul 🙏🏽❤️
Great player, ultimate professional, not a Chelsea supporter but always respected him as a player and manager, great man taken too early RIP.
it's so heartbreaking, taken far too early and young. I can remember being a young Chelsea fan and hating Ranieri (the nicest man in football) for his first few games because he replaced Vialli who was the first and one of the most enjoyable managers we had at modern day Chelsea. R.I.P Gianluca Vialli
I was lucky enough to watch sourness play...He certainly wasn't a soft caring man on the pitch...He was a brilliant player and slightly brutal with it..
Hearing this was quite something. What a great video. Vialli was a great player and had personality and flair...The game lacks these sparks nowadays.
Great stuff, rip to you.
Thanks for uploading. I still can't believe he's gone. Great to hear these stories from Souness.
What an amazing tribute. Don’t know why I watched this as he was just a football name to me but glad I did it was lovely
RIP LUCA! An Italian football legend.
Loved Vialli, entertained as a footballer, a manager, a coach and to hear Souness talk like he is makes me think that lots should be like him. Rest in Peace young man. You have been taken far to early.
One of my favourite players my wife just told me and can’t believe someone so young has played his last match, I loved watching him play and loved listening to him
💔 Rest in peace Luca 🙏
Loved him, today as a Juve fan the sadness is unbearable
What a wonderful tribute

RIP Gianluca he gave a lot to game.
My best memory of Gianluca is that he brought his first team to Northampton for a pre-season friendly. A good day - apart from the result!
I feel so sad at this point, god love you always x
Moving tribute 👏👏👏
Always tough to see a hard man break down, Graham was never one to shy away from the tougher aspects as a player, this looks hard for him.
what a player but also...a man of class
Beautifully spoken 👏
Love this. Thank you. Rest in eternal peace. Graham S - huge respect. Thank you.
