Great job brother on the demo! just got my HD 4000 yesterday. Excited about getting it unpacked this morning. Your video will help as it relates to unpacking. I paid $189.00 direct from Petra tools. I did some research before buying and even if I would have paid $250.00 I believe it would have been a great deal. Do you still like yours? You did a good lob on your presentation, very organized and easy to understand. I recently I bought a 30 gallon tow behind sprayer from Flemco with a boom. I have a 2 acre yard so I kinda need a good sprayer. After seeing the coverage on the HD 4000 I might be able to limit my need on the tow behind which is a good thing.
I’m still using it and really like it. I did upgrade the wand though (added quick connect fittings). I did a video on that here: czcams.com/video/wISSGEfZPBs/video.html
Here’s a response from Petra: “Hello, thanks for reaching out! We usually would not recommend using bleach. Prolonged use can eat up the materials on the sprayer and can cause damage. Hope this helps!”
Just tested mine out today. Really nice. The yellow tip fan is ok. I noticed another thread around it too. So I used plumbers tape there. It seems to fan out well on one side, the left and spotty on the right. Need to test out a few more tips. But so far very nice. What was your experience with the yellow fan tip? Thoughts or suggestions?
It’s Ok! I think it needs a good cleaning in between uses to make sure nothing gets clogged. I’m actually doing a retrofit and changing everything over to TeeJet nozzles with quick release. Will have a video out soon on it. Just waiting for a few more pieces to arrive!
@@TheLawngineer I just used water in mine as a test. I contacted their customer service and they are sending me a brand new fan tip yellow nozzle. So I hope that was the case. Does TeeJet nozzles fit with the Petra HD 4000?
The nozzles alone do not fit. You would have to get some adapter fittings. I’m doing a quick connect wand from the handle to the nozzle. Should be nice! I think the Petra is a good buy considering it’s cost. However, you can spend more money on other sprayers that come with upgraded components.
@@TheLawngineer I follow lawnwhisperer and he recommended 2 sons but it was too pricey. I saw you used the Petra a few months ago and kept it on my radar. Not sure if it was the 3000 or 4000 you used a few months ago in a video. But I do recall you talking about it and showing it in action. Plus a regular price of 250 and getting it for 150 is a good deal. Plus not too much negativity about it and all good about the product itself and customer service sold me. I have to test out other nozzles that came with it. Because I am a fan of the fan wan type nozzle. I have to see if the plastic washers the gave fit in the fan nozzle. I look forward to what you are using with the teejet nozzles and how you can get them to fit on the HD 4000.

STAY AWAY!!! Mine NEVER stops. Even at the lowest pressure. Half my tank loses chemical cause it sprays out without even pressing the handle. Gets all over you and anything near you
Customer Service is terrible. You can talk to them on the phone and explain everything in great detail, but you have to send them a video of it. I have been in the pest control industry since 1980 and used almost every brand backpack sprayer made. Worst Customer service for an average item with problems. I would not recommend this to anybody.

@@TheLawngineer quick connect is a great idea! Thanks for the link Vince.
Thanks. I bought one, but confused as to why two lids for the tank?
I’m not sure why there would be two lids.
@@TheLawngineer - thank you.
sold me. I wanted adjustable psi, longer battery life, 4 gallons.
It’s been a really nice sprayer. I’m looking forward to continuing using it next season!
The current price of Petra is no longer $174.00, it’s now $215.00 on Amazon. ☹️
Damn inflation!! Thanks for sharing though.
I bought this for bleach (sodium hypochlorite). I should be fine right? As long as I spray water through it and clean it?
