    Great video. I love spraying Humic12. Humic12 was actually the first product I sprayed out of my HD4050.

    I like the nozzle that came with yours. Might have to look it up. I got the 3 gallon one and all I can recall is the adjustable nozzle. Had the same issue with the wand on high pressure. Cranked down the fitting a bit tighter and used lower pressure

    I had the same issue with the nozzle blowing off. I'm switching to the stainless steel wand because thereplacement wand was defective in a different way. Though I had these issues, Petra customer service is on a super high level. I love the company and the product despite the minor wand issue.

      Yeah! Customer service was top notch for me too. Thanks for sharing! I’m actually in the process of upgrading the wand. I plan to upload a video sometime in the near future.

      @@TheLawngineer yes! I'll look forward to the video! Are you also going to the stainless steel wand or are you adapting to something outside of Petra's lineup?

      @@lawncarelittleguy9337 I’m trying to do my own setup. I’m keeping the handle. But the wand will be replaced with power washer quick connect parts. I also have a few tee jet nozzles on the way. Will make those quick connect too so they are super easy to change out.

    hey bud if you watch the first part of you spraying you can tell that only water is coming out and then it goes over to humic acid so that whole area that you walked before changed over did not get humic acid try bleeding out the sprayer into the tank itself by just simply leaving the cap off putting the nozzle head into the fill area and turning the pump on and bleeding it through that will solve that problem for you

    • @TheLawngineer
      @TheLawngineer  Před 3 lety +1

      I know. Don’t worry, it got the Humic acid when I completed the trim pass. Good tip on bleeding out the sprayer. I’ll put that into practice.

    I have a small yard. 2k sqft total front and back. So at 9oz for 1k how much water do I put in my sprayer? I just bought a Ryobi battery 2 gallon sprayer. I’m new to this and a bit confused.

    • @TheLawngineer
      @TheLawngineer  Před 3 lety +2

      I try to keep it at 1 gallon of water for every 1,000 SF. So mix in 18 oz of Humic with the 2 gallons of water, spray that over 2,000 SF, then follow up with a quick watering to get it soaked into the soil.

    How often do you spray humic acid? Do you spray it during summer months when the grass isn't growing?

    • @TheLawngineer
      @TheLawngineer  Před 3 lety

      I’ll spray every 4-6 weeks. All season long.

    So you added 36oz of product for 4gal of water to cover 4000sqf?

    • @TheLawngineer
      @TheLawngineer  Před 3 lety

      Yes. 9oz per 1,000 SF. 36 oz, mixed in 4 gallons of water to cover 4,000 SF. It is the max rate for Humic12.
