Sup my dudes I just wanted to say thank you for all the patience you guys have had this year and I do apologize for the lack of uploads to kick the year off. I thought February was gonna be where things were back to normal with the schedule in a sense but I was VERY wrong lmao. Had to deal with a lot of mentally draining off cam stuff and my head was mainly not in the right place to upload a bunch tbh. As crazy as it sounds my year FINALLY feels like it officially started yesterday now that I'm doing better mentally. Sooo I know there is a lot I missed, some stuff ill check out and cover in videos / streams others I wont since I'm just hella late lol. But I can FOR SURE tell you I wont be going almost 2 weeks with no videos. And also THANK YOU for all the people that watched my past videos, streams, and shorts while I've been gone cause damn it was still A LOT of people supporting these last 2 months even though I've been MIA so it really means a lot. So bois we got a lot of good things to cook up starting TODAY!

"The Goal Of All Life is Death" is one of Ainz`s trump card skills that allows him to use his instant death spells and kill anything, even bypass immunities and kill things that aren`t even alive to begin with , and in this episode he killed Earth and Air and thats why it became like that.

@@TheSpecialKExperience On top of that any living being that would touch the "dead" earth and "dead" air present at the time would die too. Things affected by TGOALID carry over instant death effect as well. Since the amount of air was small it dispersed easily, but if there was anyone, who isn't immune to instat death, was present there and BREATHED they would be a goner.

    Comment Chapter 12 S1
This entire battle was designed keeping in mind that Shalltear had to be killed twice because her creator, Ainz's friend Peroronchino, had given her an Instant Resurrection Item, which luckily doesn't also restore mana. That is why we see her intact at the end of the chapter.
From the beginning Ainz had many disadvantages. To begin with, his game character was not designed for PVP matches but mainly for his own entertainment and ROL. In DOTA terms he would be a “Support” who can also play as a “Semi-Carry”. Instead, Shalltear is a pure “Carry” designed for combat against many players. The only one in charge of defending not one but 3 floors and the strongest of all the Guardians. Also, as a vampire, Shalltear is quite resistant to Ainz's necromancy, but she can also do holy magic that is quite effective against Liches. I clarify that in the Ygdrassil LORE that is based on Dungeons & Dragons there are good and bad gods. Shalltear gains her abilities as a priestess of a vampire god named Caniabel.
Then there is the problem that Ainz is a summoner and his best combos are with creatures he can use as a shield. But since Shalltear has that life-sucking spear, he can't risk using them because it would be like feeding her. Also, Yggdrasil's gameplay mechanics were designed in such a way that a player could never fully protect themselves from all of its weaknesses. Ainz is weak against fire and holy element, but can only protect against one.
As if that wasn't enough, Shalltear's creator gave her some "Skills" that precisely help her with her main weaknesses, such as the Negative Impact Shield or the Purifying Spear. These are not powers that she should naturaly have and they help her to overcome opponents who have some advantage over her. Fortunately, there is a limit to the number of these Skills that can be used per day. Much of Ainz's plan for this battle was designed to get Shalltear to spend them all before the end.
Finally, Ainz felt guilty about the current situation, so he decided to punish himself by changing his divine equipment to a lower quality one, which further increased his disadvantage.
So, yes, this battle was very difficult and it is a great triumph that it has reached this point.
Of course, it's not that Ainz is weak either, it's just that his powers don't work well against Shalltiaer's. But still he is a pure mage who managed to win a lot of PVP at the time, although at first, he always had to lose a few rounds until he learned the best method to win. Also, in Yggdrassil the limit of spells that could be learned was 300, but Ainz got a special class that allowed him to learn more than 700 spells. We saw a bit of this early on, in the buff number he put on before he started fighting.
Shalltear's Einherjar is a construct-type avatar almost visually identical to Shalltear. This Avatar cannot use magic and some of the abilities of the original, but his equipment and stats are the same.
Ainz's greatest achievement was executing his own trump card well. “The Goal of All Life is Death” is a Skill that he obtained by taking out all the trophies of his class, Liche Overlord. Any Undead like him have abilities that cause "Instant Death" on an enemy, but naturally there are many ways to defend against this magic, both with items and resistances. Someone like Shalltear naturally has immunity to these kinds of abilities, whether it be full or partial. But “The Goal of All Life is Death” allows you to overcome all those barriers, as long as the instant death effect occurs in exactly 12 seconds. This is a very difficult thing to achieve, but Ainz is one of the 13% of players who have perfectly mastered the art of synchronizing spells. So, the magic used against Shalltear is called “Cry of the Banshee” which kills everything that touches the sound within a large area of land. But the effect is enhanced by the ability "The Goal of All Life is Death" and that is why, according to the novel, literally everything died: The creatures, the Einherjar clone, Shalltear, the earth, the plants and even the air... Everything died. And so, in the end the battlefield turned into a desert.
Here I leave you the fragment of the novel, where the effects of this terrible magic are better described:
[Ainz had 60 levels of job classes, and one of them was quite special. It was a class that was very rare even in YGGDRASIL, held only by a small number of players.
The class in question was called “Eclipse”.
The class description stated: “Only an Overlord who is truly dedicated to the pursuit of Death may enter this class, which swallows up all life like an eclipse.”
The move Ainz was planning to use was one which was only available after reaching the maximum level (5th) in Eclipse, a skill which could only be used once every 100 hours.
It was the trump card of the Eclipse class.
That skill was called [The Goal Of All Life Is Death].
A woman’s wail echoed through the air. This cry carried with it an instant-death effect.
Ainz had used various skills to augment this spell, so its potency was greater than normal and harder to resist. Still, it was useless against Shalltear and the Einherjar construct.
    Tick.
The clock face behind Ainz ticked, and its hands slowly moved as the spell took effect.
Ainz glanced at Shalltear in the distance as his health dwindled under the onslaught of the Einherjar, and at the same time he felt quite disappointed.
“...So I can’t finish this cleanly, huh? Damn you, Peroroncino, did you build her specifically to counter me? To think you actually gave her a resurrection item! Dammit!”
Ainz cursed his guildmate within his heart.
Ainz frantically struggled to avoid the attacks of the Einherjar. After 12 seconds had passed, the hour hand had completed a full circuit, and it pointed to the heavens once more.
Then, Ainz’s trump card took effect.
In that moment: The world died.
    This was not metaphorical.
    Everything died.
The Einherjar evaporated into white mist as it couched its lance, and dispersed before Ainz’s eyes. Even a homunculus with no concept of life died instantly. Shalltear’s familiars shared the same fate, unable to resist the destruction which overtook them.
    That was not all.
Even the air - which was not even alive to begin with - fell into death. For over 100 meters in all directions, the air was no longer breathable. If any living creature tried to respire within that area, their lungs would be corrupted by the deadly air, and they would die.
Neither did the land escape the embrace of death. The terrain in a 100 meter radius was instantly transmuted into sand.
Only Shalltear and Ainz could move in this world, where only death remained.
Ainz’s trump card, [The Goal Of All Life Is Death] strengthened the effect of instant death magic and skills. Thus augmented, those instant-death effects could bypass any immunities or resistance and kill their targets after a certain amount of time had passed.
One could resist it by using a resurrection effect on themselves within 12 seconds, as Shalltear had.
The air and the land had also died because of that effect.
In YGGDRASIL, the environment would not have succumbed, but in this new world, the effects were quite appropriate to the skill. All things were equal in the face of Death.
Ainz himself was taken aback by this strange effect. The land had not died like this in YGGDRASIL. He could not help but shake his head after witnessing the effects of the game’s powers in the real world.
However, Ainz swallowed back his surprise. The pride in his heart would not permit him to show any sign of shock. Instead, he acted as though this had been part of his plan. Carrying himself with the arrogance that befitted a ruler, he gently asked the sole survivor:
“What do you think, after experiencing the power that can slay even the unliving?”]
Well that's it. I hope I have been helpful. Thanks for reacting!

3:52: He actually had it coming way more than it seemed like. In the light novel, it was explained that Igvarge, who was mythril ranked(3rd highest class) was jealous of how Momon and Nabe became his equal with just a single assignment. He was going to do anything that he could to ruin their reputations because he felt it was unfair how new adventurers got promoted so fast.
Shaltear's creator, Peroroncino was an *extreme* power gamer, obsessed with creating perfect character builds. Ainz onlyconsiders himself to be upper-middle tier in terms of level 100 characters, while he considers Shalltear to be lower-top tier. And to make matters worse, he can't even use his real fighting style against her because Shalltear is built to kill undead magic casters.

    Commentary 11 S1
Hi friend, nice to see you again. This chapter must have been the hardest to animate because it introduces a lot of LORE, but I think they did a decent job. But still I will try to explain some things without falling into the spoiler.
When Nabe communicates with Ainz she is seen wearing rabbit ears, this is actually a spell that many mages can use to increase hearing. Nabe uses them because she doesn't have thief or assassin skills to detect hidden enemies, so that way she can make sure no one is hiding to hear her. In the novel, Ainz also uses the spell on occasion, albeit with some embarrassment.
When Ainz, disguised as Momon, hears what the Adventurer's Guild report about Shalltear, he wanted to do his best to divert attention and was about to tell them that that vampire's name was actually Carmilia, but then he remembered that This name is widely used in games or Anime for female vampires and if a Player from their world heard it, they could deduce that Shalltear is someone from Ygdrassil. So, flustered and hurried, Ainz made up Honyopenyoko's name without thinking of anything specific, except that it sounded completely different from Shalltear and Carmilia. Hence the name he invented is so silly.
Adventurer Igvarge was a real piece of trash. He originally wanted to become a hero, but to do so he didn't mind resorting to dirty tricks like spreading false rumors about himself or using his companions as meat shields. For him all the others were but steps for him to reach the top. However, he was a hard worker and trained intensely, which caused him to intensely dislike Momon, who seemingly appeared out of nowhere and attained his mithril class in a single adventure.
In the novel, Igvarge ran away alone when Albedo set out to kill all of his team members, but he unknowingly ended up trapped by one of Mare's spells. Mare then pinned him down and killed him by crushing his skull with her staff.
The treasury door was designed by Tabula Smaragdina, the creator of Albedo, who as we know loved the Gap Moe very much. But he also had others passions and one of them was Alchemy, to the point where his player name meant "Emerald Tablet" which is a very famous Greek text on the subject and was believed to contain the secret to making the Philosopher's Stone. The password that Ainz pronounces is the translation of the line that is in Latin and that is a fragment of this Tablet. Even his three creations are also based on the Emerald Tablet.
And since we talked about it, I should tell you that, although in the Anime they take too many time to mention it, Albedo has two sisters. The three were named and designed as an allegory to the three processes of Alchemy: Nigredo (putrefaction), Albedo (purification) and Rubedo (reconstitution). To this day we know almost nothing about Rubedo, except that she is very powerful and hides on the eighth floor. But we do know about Nigredo, who is an NPC specialist in magic detection and in the novel she is the one who locates Shalltaer. Nigredo is nothing like her sister Albedo, as she is based on Tabula Smaragdina's other passion, which was horror movies, although (following the Gap Moe logic) her personality is much kinder than one would think.
An important detail that many do not notice is the ease with which Albedo orders "kill" Tabula Smaragdina when she recognizes that he is an impostor. Because even Yuri Alpha, the Battle Maiden, is a little hesitant to attack someone in the guise of a Supreme Being. Ainz attributes it to Albedo's great ability to make decisions, but it could also reflect that, as I already mentioned in chapter 5, she is not absolutely loyal to her creator like other NPCs, who always put first the orders of the person who designed them before those of other "Supreme Beings".
Now let's talk about Pandora's Actor. He is a doppelganger that has the power to mimic the forms of the 41 members of the Ainz Ooal Gown guild with 80% effectiveness. When Ainz created it he really didn't have anything in mind and just combined a bunch of things that seemed cool to him, but once put together, he found the result a bit embarrassing. His uniform is inspired by that of the Nazis, but before anyone feels offended, let's not forget that Japan and Germany were Allies during the World War II, so his view of them is not as negative as the one we have in West. Furthermore, while after the war the Westerners had to suffer the consequences of the destruction and then the Cold War, the Japanese suffered the effects of the Atomic Bombs that the US dropped on them. In Japan they value strong countries a lot, that's why they are always imitating England (which almost colonized them), the USA that defeated them in 1945 and Germany, which from their point of view is a great country of warriors that dared to face the rest of the world practically alone, twice, and almost won.
Of course, that is a thing of the past and the modern Japanese are not thinking of killing anyone, waging war or taking revenge on the allies. As I have already told you, they actually admire the US for having defeated them, as they admire all the strong. I'm just telling you that their view of the events in the World War is naturally different from ours. Also, it's fair to say that the Nazi uniforms looked pretty good. For all these reasons there are many young Japanese who admire, not Nazism itself, but the military power of Germany in World War II.
Pandora's Actor is an Area Guardian, which means he guards a sector of a floor and not its entirety. There are many of them and some are even more powerful than some Floor Guardians, like the case of Gurem, a Fire Slime that defends a sector of the floor from Demiurge and is more dangerous than the Demiurge himself. But the case of the Treasury is special, because it is separated in a different dimension and it is impossible to reach it by any direct route. The only way to get there is by wearing an Ainz Oown Gown Guild Ring.
Pandora's Actor's name and theme is seemingly based off of the Greek Myth of Pandora's Box, where a single mortal woman named Pandora was gifted a box that contained all of the world's evils within by the Gods and was specifically told by them not to open it, but due to the Pandora's immense curiosity, she opened it and released all the contents into the world. This, in turn, is the basis to Pandora's Actor's role as the Area Guardian of Nazarick's Treasury, of which he is tasked with protecting the 11 World Items currently housed within that all possess the power to completely alter or possibly even destroy the world.
The most significant sentence Pandora's Actor says to Ainz in the novel is: "Indubitably so, Lord Ainz! For as I was made by you, if you desire me to do battle with the other Supreme Beings, I shall charge into the fray without hesitation!" It is at this point that we confirm what I mentioned earlier: Normally NPCs will obey the orders of their creator even before those of other Supreme Beings.
Now a new level of Ygdrasill's magic is revealed to us.
For level 100 players the 10th tier of magic was the maximum and they had to use it carefully because it consumed a lot of MP and also some spells could consume Experience Points, which meant losing levels. This didn't matter much in the game because a player could recover Experience Points by killing monsters or doing quests, but in the New World it's not that easy. Ainz has many powers and powerful summons that he does not dare to use for fear of not being able to recover the Experience Points that they would cost.
Also, there is a kind of eleventh tier of magic, which would be Super Tier Magic, however, its characteristics are different. First it doesn't consume MP, so it's more like a skill. Then there is the problem that they take a long time to cast and then any player of the party won't be able to use it again for a long time. And finally, that some of these magic consume Experience Points. In short, it would be the Special Move in a video game, that attack that takes a lot of health off the enemy if you manage to do it right, but can be easily interrupted.
Wish Upon a Star is an eleventh tier magic that consumes Experience Points, but thanks to the Ring Ainz has he can use it about 3 times for free. In the game, he granted you some random wishes that many times could not be fulfilled and the administrator had to intervene. But in the New World there are almost no limits to what you can ask for. However, this time was unable to remove Shalltear's mind control because it was imposed by a World Class Item.
World Class Items are the 200 rarest and most powerful items in the Ygdrassill game. Ainz Ooal Gown's guild has 11 in total and the next ranked guild only has 3. That gives you an idea of how rare it was to have just one of them. World Class Items were so powerful because they could alter even game mechanics and each one had different abilities. Now I can tell you that the World Class Item that controlled Shalltear was the dress of the old lady who was killed by the spear of light and it can basically mind control someone even if they have immunity.
Among the 200 World Class Items there are 20 that are considered the most powerful, but disappear after being used once. In the novel, Ainz mentions that two of "The 20" are stored in the treasury, and that one of them could remove Shalltear's brainwashing effect, but he hesitates to use it because it would lose right after. That's why they have to defeat her.
The reason he went to the treasury is because the only way to be immune to the effects of a World Class Item is to hold one yourself. Ainz wants to give one to each Floor Guardian so that they are protected against them.
In the next comment I will explain why Shalltaer is so powerful. ¡Thank you very much if you read up to this point!

So... Ainz is built in game to role-play as an undead summoner....
Shalltear was optimized for 1-on-1 combat...
She also has holy magic.... which undead are weak against....
Albedo is a tank... built to withstand a lot of damage... she doesn't do enough damage to kill a 1v1 specialist that has many ways to heal....
    - Plus... I think demons are also weak to holy...
