I'm glad you noticed the hypocritical line. It adds a lot of context to the scene and most reactors I've seen don't notice it or are confused by what he meant when he said he was very hypocritical. Hi, friend. ¿Isn't this one of the best chapters? As always I will explain some things using information from the novels.
First in Nabe confrontation:
Khajiit by himself must be around level 20 or 21, but since he has that "Death Jewel", which has been feeding life energy for 6 years, he can do very impressive magic for the people of the New World.
At first he seems like he has the upper hand, but he could never win.
Narberal Gamma is a Level 63 Battle Maid and we haven't even seen everything she's capable of until now. The thing is that Ainz forbade her to use magical attacks that exceed the Third Tier while they were traveling undercover and she played the character of "Nabe, the companion of the hero Momon". That is why at first she has to fight so hard. But we do have some clues to this, such as the fact that she can take a hit from a Dragon or hit it with sheer physical force. As a magician she should be physically weak, in fact, she would be…if it wasn't for the overwhelming difference in levels.
This is why she is extremely irritated throughout the fight and gets so offended when Khajiit suggests that she "surrender to him".
When Ainz gives her permission to use her full power, Narberal ends the battle with a single spell, Chained Dragon Lightning. This type of magic usually works by hitting one target and then jumping directly to another, like a domino effect. It is a spell of the seventh tier of magic that in the New World no human can do by himself and is considered almost divine. That is why Khajiit at first believes that Narberal is delusional.
A fun twist is that Narberal's insults towards Kajhit are a series of smaller and smaller animals: In the Novel she starts by calling him tick, then red beetle, then caterpillar, planaria (a flatworm), and finally... mere human.
An interesting detail is that, in the Dungeons & Dragons game, skeleton-type monsters are resistant to slashing attacks, but vulnerable to blunt blows, such as those from a hammer. Overlord follows that same logic and that is why Nabe puts his sword in the scabbard before fighting the dragon, because he knows that the edge will not do him any good and he prefers to use his weapon as a besiball bat.
Now Ainz's showdown:
Clementine doesn't know it, but Ainz is taking advantage of her confrontation to learn new things. And it is that one of his main doubts is whether it is possible to become stronger than he already is. Because in the Ygdrassil game level 100 was the maximum and it was not possible to progress beyond that. Ainz wants access to more sources of strength and so he is experimenting with physical techniques, watching what Clementine does and playing with her to see what kind of abilities it is possible to acquire as a Warrior.
When Ainz catches Clementine, she is not too scared at first because Liches are powerful mages, but they are not physically strong and believes that she will be able to break free with a little effort. To be fair, normally this would be true, but since Ainz is level 100, his physical strength is terrifyingly monstrous for a person from the New World. If Clementine was level 60, then the principle of not being able to overcome her physically would be fulfilled.
Unfortunately for Clementine, she is barely Level 31. In the New World she is a real power to be reckoned with, but in Nazarick there are many who exceed that level.
Clementine only realizes the difference between the two when she can't get rid of on the first try and then Ainz confirms it by telling her that it wasn't even necessary to use magic to defeat her. In short, his confrontation with Clementine was not a fight but a sadistic game.
While Ainz is squeezing Clementine, plates of her armor begin to fall off. They are the plates of the adventurers of "The Swords of Darkness" that were not fully fixed because Clementine had just acquired them. It is an artistic way that the author has to tell us “¡Revenge!”.
Before the fight, Ainz said that he did not blame Clementine for killing the adventurers because perhaps he would have done the same if the situation required it. It was a way of saying, "It's not personal, it's just business." Bottom line: "I'm not killing you because you pissed me off, but because you ruined days of work I spent impressing those kids so they could advertise me."
And then he added: Blaming you for killing them would be very hypocritical of me.
But right at the end, before Clementine died, Ainz pointed out to her that she had taken her time torturing Ninya before and now he wanted to do the same. And when he finally broke her spine, he added, "I forgot to mention that I'm a big hypocrite." At that moment he is confessing that all this "was very personal" and that he had really grown attached to the adventurers, especially Ninya.
The Crown of Wisdom is an original New World item that must not be removed once worn or the wearer will go insane. That's why Ainz has to destroy it in order to save Nfirea without losing her sanity.
Then in the post-credits scene it is revealed to us that, while Ainz was doing all this, things were happening with other NPCs from Nazarick.
Comment chapter 10 S1
First of all, I want to remind you that Overlord is not a typical "good guys" versus "bad guys" anime, but rather an Adams Family type of story, where there is a set world of rules and where the events should have unfolded in a certain direction, but then out of nowhere falls a group of dysfunctional deities that turn everything upside down.
At first they show us Sebastian and the Battle Maid Solution who are traveling to carry out an infiltration mission, but on the way to their destination they are taking the opportunity to lend a hand to Shalltear who has received instructions from Ainz to capture any powerful person among the bandits of the area, because its disappearance would not attract attention.
In Nazarick there are no humans (except one) so all its members are monsters or heteromorphs. Such is the case of the Pleiades Solution, the blonde woman who is actually a type of protozoan-like monster called Slime, which fights by absorbing her enemies. It is said that her body is empty inside and she can choose to protect or dissolve the things she has absorbed. She can also control the speed of digestion. The fate of the unlucky bandit named Zach will be to spend many days being tortured by the acids of this monster until finally he is digested.
During the conversation in the carriage we see again that the NPCs see the players who created them as gods and so funny misunderstandings occur. Shalltear believes that the creator of Aura is a kind of mystical being who imbues inanimate objects with souls to create life. But she is actually a Seiyu or voice actress, who plays the role of characters in Anime and Erotic games. She "brings the characters to life."
In the novel and Compilation Movie of the first season, there is an omitted fragment of conversation between the butler and Shalltear. Sebastian is worried about the “Blood Frenzy”, Shalltear's passive ability that makes her violent and irrational when she absorbs too much blood and could cause her to fail the mission. Shalltear responds to this in a violent and arrogant way, showing us how overconfident she is. She even seems willing to fight Sebastian to the death if he doesn't back down on her. But in the end, the butler's fears were true, because we see how Shalltear loses control when she transforms and ends up killing all the bandits that she originally came to capture.
In this episode, two disastrous coincidences happen to Shalltear. The first is that a group of adventurers just came to find the bandits she is hunting and when they see Shalltear, the leader starts shouting instructions emphasizing the words “she is a vampire”. This is because, for security reasons, they had left a "Ranger" hidden among the trees of the forest with the mission of escaping and reporting everything that happened to the Adventurers' Guild, but Shalltear does not realize this until it is very late because she is dominated by her "Blood Frenzy".
As Shalltear comes to her senses and runs to capture the Ranger, the next disastrous coincidence occurs: She runs into an elite group who happened to be there by chance. Shalltear doesn't know who they are, but she notices that one of them is much more powerful than the Pleiades Solution, which is quite impressive for someone from the New World, because all the Battle Maids are around level 46 and 63. She tries to kill them, but it doesn't work out. Nothing good.
One of the strangers manages to perform mind control magic on Shalltear even though this should be impossible, as all Undead have a natural immunity to mind control. However, it happened. But luckily, we see that Shalltear managed to kill the person who controlled her just before her spell took effect. That's why she stood still, waiting for orders that would never come.
I hope that this has made everything that happened in this episode a little clearer.
Now I don't want to spoil anything, but for the next chapter I want you to remember a historical fact: In World War II, Japan and Germany were Allies, so the Japanese perspective is a little different. Just keep it in mind.
This moment with Shalltear being mind controlled always concerned me (SPOIL) it's the only time in the anime that one of the Guardians is ever "defeated" and I always thinking "does that mean that there are actually people able to defeat them ?"
correction... Shalltear killed the Shield dude instantly but only heavily injured "Lady Kaire" .. the one with the Robe (important)... making shalltear only partially mind controlled... Lady Kaire did however died later due to such heavy injuries ... next episode i expect you to Lore Dump about WI ... if u know what i mean :D

My dude I was sick in January and then was moving into a new place the past few weeks. These episodes were up on the patreon for a bit already if you want to see them earlier. Other than that cant do much more when I have IRL things to handle first.
I reallu like that you remember details from the previous episodes. My only complaint would be that you need to focus a little more on the screen bro lol, sometimes you miss some scenes

Question, for those who know about the lore : do all the guardians are all level 100 ? Are they all equal in strenght ? Because Ains said that Albedo is the strongest. Is she, or they're just all just the same level ?
All guardians plus Sebas and omega are level 100, the only exception is victim. And no they are not equal, depending on your class and race levels you gain different bonuses, For example Albedo is Best Tank, so while she is the best defender, she is not the strongest in offence. Shalltear is Number one according to author amongst the guardians. Also there is a rock paper scissor relationship between Albedo and Cocytus and sebas. Sebas> Albedo> Cocytus> Sebas. Also If we count Aura with all her beasts then she will be number one.
Albedo is the _leader_ of the Floor Guardians, but she is not the strongest. Each of them is specialized to something in particular, so they are all on the same level of importance, but are effective in different areas.
