Fun fact: Ainz wasn't that strong between all his companions. In fact, he was like in the middle. What he really stand out was as support and strategist for his friends.

@@frederickmiguelaragon8635 yes but ainz literally memorized everything there is to know about Yggdrasil he also memorized the data sheets of each npc when they got transported, lvl 100 players has 300+ spells and they don't even use all of them while ainz has 700+ and he memorize it and can utilize it fully, he knows how to use his tools. Like sebas and touchme the npcs get affected by their creator Pandora's Actor knows every single thing jn the treasury, ainz is also a collector of rare things even wanted the newborn albino lizardman, he's also acting as an intelligent being that's proof they affect their npcs Pandora's Actor.
Imagine a raid boss that has multiple phases and has to be killed multiple times to get a confirmed kill. Shalltear is TERRIFYING

You forgot “the raid bosses' attacks restore the raid boss' health”, and “the raid boss can summon minions at will”.
It is not game become reality. They are characters from game which got transported to different world. That's why Ainz being very careful borderline paranoid because he has no idea of this world.

In front of his eyes, the 「Einherjar」 turned into a white mist and began to crumble. Even the lifeless construct had died instantly. Likewise, Shalltear’s kin, succumbing to a power that they could not resist, began to die out.
But it did not end there.
Even the air that was devoid of life died and turned the 200-meter diameter into a space where breathing was impossible. If there had been a being here who needed to breathe in order to live, the dead air would have contaminated the lungs and ended its life.
Not only that, the land died as well. With Ainz at its center, an area measuring 200 meters in diameter instantly turned into a desert.
In a world where only death existed, the only thing left moving was Ainz and Shalltear.
Ainz’s secret weapon, 「The Goal of All Life Is Death」, it strengthened the instant death effect of spells and skills to the point where even those with complete immunity were killed.
A method to defend against it was to, like Shalltear, deploy a self-resurrection effect and so on.
It was also the reason why even inanimate objects like the air and land had died. Although its effects weren’t to this extent in YGGDRASIL, in the real world, it was much more clearly pronounced in the form of granting ‘Death’ to all equally.

In Overlord, strength does not simply boil down to what level someone is. Many things factor into the equation. For example, Ainz and Shalltear both are level 100, and get on paper one has a complete advantage.
Ainz specializes in instant death skills, but Shalltear is also undead and has an immunity to those. Ainz can't summon undead servants against her because she will use her weapon to constantly heal off them, thus keeping always her HP high.
Shalltear has holy magic, which is Ainz's strongest elemental weakness. She also is a mage/warrior mix, while Ainz is a pure mage. So if he runs out of MP, he's done while she can fall back on melee. Shalltear's lance also deals bludgeoning damage, which also heavily harms skeletons.
With all these disadvantages in his way, this is a real uphill battle for Momonga. Especially with him not using his best Eequipment.
Shalltear is so much stronger than Ainz. But Ainz' pvp experience help him win. Ainz is strong, smart in pvp and pay to win as well. xD
If I remember right it's not that Shaltear is stronger, her class is just a natural counter to Ainz's
Cake Buster Yggdrassil is not really a pay2win game. Cause most of the pay2win items are literally quite shite and the main money maker in Yggdrasil are cosmetics and skins.

Cake Buster she’s a raid boss, literally the only way to kill her is to have over 20 level 100 players ganging up on her and the team have to be strong, like Ainz Ooal Gown strong.

Shalltear is a true vampire but her job class is holy Valkyrie. It makes her insanely strong against virtually everything, including Ainz, which is why he is heavily using strategy.
That last ability, The Goal of All Life Is Death, killed everything within a couple of thousand feet. Shalltear died, Einherjar died, her household died, the grass died, the trees died, the rocks died, the sky died, everything. You’ll notice that Ainz and the killed and resurrected Shalltear are now standing on dust and sand. Now there is an insane skill.
The goal of all life is death was a buff that negated shalltear's immunity to instant death skills. Cry of the banshee was the instant kill move he used to kill her

for whatever reason, when Yggdrasil ended, Ainz, who stayed logged in until the end, was transported to this new world along with Nazarick, this is a real, living world, not a game, it has some skills from Yggdrasil and some mobs even, but aside from that it´s a completely different world
Several episodes ago they said all healing potions are blue, which is why Ainz’s potion being red was such a big deal. The pharmacist said a red potion would be purer but there’s no known way to make them.
blue hp potions from this world are incomplete, which is why they´re blue, red hp potions are the perfected product

This old priestess from a couple of episodes used (probably) innate ability or a world class item to take control of Shaltear. But she did not manage to give orders because Shalltear killed her in the process. That's why he does not know what's happening to her.

The reason that he did not bring his staff is because the staff can be destroyed and if its destroyed the guild will disband also the reason that he is waering that robe is something that you will find out in the next episode.

Ainz does not use the staff of Ainz Ool Gown because it is the prize possession of the guild. If he were to lose it to the enemy it would be like losing the entire guild, since his guild spent so much time together to make the staff.

This staff, which should have been a treasure held by the guildmaster, was instead kept in this room as a decoration.
That was because there was nothing else which represented the guild quite like this.
Guild weapons were typically kept hidden away in safe places and not used for their tremendous powers because a guild would be disbanded if its associated guild weapon was destroyed. Even Ainz Ooal Gown, a guild which existed at the peak of YGGDRASIL, was no exception to this.
This was the reason why the weapon had been kept here, and Momonga had never touched it, despite the fact that it had been tailor-made to complement his abilities.
As someone who is caught up with the series, I gotta say you guys are for one heck of a rollercoaster ride.

Well actually in the game their are no ways to restore m.p other than natural m.p resounoration and special skillsand if the blue potion could do that then it would be much more valuable as their are many ways to regenerate h.p but non for m.p ainz himself would have tried to make blue potions in that case and ge would be unstopable. The blue potion is just a weaker red potion.
Just something to tell you the thing that's 'controling' shalltear is a world item that's why ainz's magic never worked when trying to free her. and second, this is not the full power of ainz which is why season 2 and 3 will be even more exciting to you. Edit: just because I know some people will be like this, this comment DOES NOT spoil the seasons!

well not really because many animes have the character progress and im not spoiling anything. I could of went of and this and this made him stronger but no I just went with sentence that hooks them. its almost like saying watching a movie trailer spoils the movie or a blurb on a book ruins the book.
Technically it wasn't Ains power that didn't work on her. The spell [Super Tier Magic: Wish Upon A Star] is just a ring item, not one of Ains 700 known spells. The fact that Ains knows a way to get around world level mind control without having a the counter world item and has the power to do so is a better demonstration of his "true" power.

Blue potion and red potion are the same its healing potion but the blue potion have expiration or rather it spoils while the Red potion doest decrease its effect even for a long long time. Ainz potion the human called it the True potion or Blood of God. and has a greater effect than the blue potion

Actually all of shaltears stats are very hing while albedo is a defensive build shaltear is more of a master of all traits type build although yes her d.p.s is indeed the highest of her stats.

Blue potion is less effective Health Potion in this world. It was a MAJOR plot motivator in this entire season (Red potion was given to adventure girl who took it to be inspected because it was so different from the BLUE ones, Nfirea tried to get close to Ainz because of it, and the red potion was recognised by Shaltear as being from Nazarick). So no, it's not a Mana Potion.
He was transferred to the game, and everything in his team base (base included at no extra charge) was transferred to a new reality.
season 3 is gonna end soon. season 2 is very badass i hope we get there pretty soon.

The reason why hes not wearing his usual gear is that, it might be a trap. And that staff isnt a normal staff, that staff represents the guild if it gets destroyed then the guild is destroyed as well.
Actually mana is used for magic skills are the natural abilities and powers that a build has.

It shows you who is controlling shalltear in episode 10 True Vampire towards the end when her children are defeated there's that group and there a lady there named lady kaire or something I believe anyway that light that you saw that hit shalltear was a word item that she was wearing however she was injured by shalltear before the mind control could fully take hold as it shows
Ainz might be a supreme being but in terms of in game level Ainz and the floor guardians are the same (level 100) so if Ainz was to fight a floor guardian he will have to go all out.

The thing that frustrates me when watching is that they put the mechanics of one game or so and try to use that for this show that has mechanics , functions, and has a different system most RPGs MMO. The show goes out of its way to me deliver I'm say half of this information.
