Well about logical fallacies in general, I remember I saw a schlock sci fi movie a few years ago where the "scientists" in the movie leapt to a conclusion based on this type of reasoning, and I used this scene to point out how nonsensical the plot was.

The great thing with science is that it is truth that is independent of any individual. It wasn’t good that Fauci said that, but that doesn’t discredit the scientific process or the research outcomes itself.

In the context of this scene, Connie's character is either herself utterly bamboozled by the ludicrous "logic" and supposed "proof" that she is a witch OR she actually is a witch and is just not bothering to deny it.
