I mean my good Lady, perhaps they were carried by both African and Asian Swallows working together so as to allow for future foley artists and film sound editors to be able to fully realize the trampling sound of the horse hoof of a fully laden Cavalry Horse.

When they first ask about the Grail the French knights say that their master already has one. The second time they come in contact with each other, they know definitively that the Grail is there but is being guarded by the French knights. They even say something to the tune of "you've come back for a second time". I truly believe that they went in a large circle and ended up back where they started on their Grail trip.

Possibly the most kick butt thing of this movie, is the part right after this clip, where suddenly you know there's no fooling around any more, and Arthur had brought an entire army with him and they're charging. Then the stupid police come and destroy that otherwise precious moment. It's so easy to forget about that part, due to so many jokes, but also because you're probably rooting for them at that point to go really kick some butt, and then it gets shot down so very quickly. Definitely a rotten ending.

Ah, is that why in the english version he tell'em to mind their own business? ... Even more confusing cause flaxseed is grown not mined.. XD

The strangest thing about this is the triumphant background music while they are riding the fake cocoanut horses. It is perfect.

I wish every country could laugh at themselves the way these guys do. They poke fun at these serious rituals and customs and expose them for the silliness they deserve. It helps to have the genius of Monty Python.

Having them prance around while the squires bang coconuts together is one of the most brilliant comedic ideas ever

Saw this movie in 1977 at a midnight showing. I still enjoy watching it. It's even funnier today than in '77. But I've always love the English sense of humor. Benny Hill tops my list for funniest TV series.
