    For years now, I've grappled with this relentless urge, feeling its weight bearing down on me. With each passing decade, the struggle only seems to intensify, leaving me feeling utterly defeated. It's as though life itself has been drained from my being, leaving me a mere shell of who I once was. Sadly, this experience isn't unique to me; many others face a similar battle, unknowingly squandering their vitality for fleeting moments of pleasure. It's a sobering realization to consider just how much potential we've wasted in pursuit of temporary satisfaction. If only we paused to question the true cost of our actions, perhaps we'd realize the immense value of conserving our energy for more meaningful endeavors.

      @@AlphaSigmaRichMan Just practice writing one page in a notebook daily about why fantasizing and p*rn is bad before sleeping everyday. And whenever you think of something like that always start thinking about something else suddenly. That is the only way I know about how to stop. And also try to stay away from any kind of social media like CZcams Instagram or anything related to social media and even news for a few months. Everything will reset in your brain and you will be able to control your thoughts. Also meditate everyday. No time limit, just keep increasing 1 min everyday. It's tough but completely possible if you do these things everyday.

      Realize that the thoughts about it come up to distract you from the current emotional "pain" you are experiencing. You may be feeling bored or frustrated and you want to distract yourself with it by doing "mental masturbation" - imagining scenarios or images. If you have recently watched any content it's going to be harder to think about something else. The more the time has passed since the last time you have done it the easier it will be. Still it is better to be doing it on fantasy than on your phone/PC. When time passes you will be stuck with a few fantasies and they will fade away more and more. At least that is my experience.

    “Currently, there is an active scientific discussion about whether compulsive sexual behaviour disorder can constitute the manifestation of a behavioural addiction5. For ICD‐11, a relatively conservative position has been recommended, recognizing that we do not yet have definitive information on whether the processes involved in the development and maintenance of the disorder are equivalent to those observed in substance use disorders, gambling and gaming6. For this reason, compulsive sexual behaviour disorder is not included in the ICD‐11 grouping of disorders due to substance use and addictive behaviours, but rather in that of impulse control disorders. The understanding of compulsive sexual behaviour disorder will evolve as research elucidates the phenomenology and neurobiological underpinnings of the condition7.”
    From World Psychiatry and the ICD-11. Which you mentioned.

    Thank you so much Dr. Trish? You’re the truth with it! Working on quitting PMO (I haven’t been perfect but I’m getting much better nearly cured), diet, and daily exercise I’ve found have improved my libido immensely. So much so that even when I physically don’t feel like I’m in the mood when my wife is, my fella is always ready. Making love to the wife has been much better holding out with no PMO, a healthy diet + exercise helps with very good blood flow.

    Mastubation in lue of real normal relationships is a bigger problem with men i think than porn addiction. It desensitizes you to what relationships with a real women should be and feel like. Stop watching porn and stop self pleasuring is step one. Step too is the hardest part, which is evolving into someone who has a healthy/normal level of sexuality. Just because you 'can' pleasure yourself everyday doesnt mean you should. Save sex for a real person who cares about you. Even if you arent in a relationship, spend time building up important things in your life and stop prioritizing sex as the end all be all.

  • @vl4394
    @vl4394 Před 4 měsíci +2

    I think sexual desire is only a particular channel that libido can manifest through. Lacking the ability or will to connect libido with some notion of an external world, I only interact with internal versions of objects. Part of that is sunk costs, I'm very well adapted to this. Part of it is being over 30, 30 is too old for anything especially if you didn't properly go through any of the social milestones and developmental phases otherwise. On top of this I was tortured and couldn't find a way to make it stop, this thwarted the completion of the various projects and ideas a person is supposed to develop and see through in the late teens and 20's. So that's all gone, those versions of me are crystallized and trapped, frozen in time. This builds on the "I was created as a sacrifice" unconscious programming which is established in early childhood, the 20's were offered up as a sacrifice. I don't like this but it can be no other way, and perhaps I wanted it that way. Either way if a man hasn't kissed, had sex, "found out" and gone through that gateway by his late 20's it closes and unless his mind is structured in a certain way (which mine is not), the whole relationship and sexuality thing is basically over for him. Missed one boat, two boats, hundred boats, no more boats left. It had to be acquired prior in life, because it's the unconscious mind that scripts and creates your overarching course and even the minute events in your daily life. Crystallized malformation will beget more malformation. Lastly the core issue, the directives implanted in childhood which are worth mentioning given that I see it all the time but no one understands it other than me apparently. Essentially at the core there is an association created between change, connection, and death. The path to get there and underlying elements are irrelevant, that structure is what it amounts to. What this says it that connection to anything, body, mind, self, other, world, time, contact with any of it brings pain and then complete annihilation. Connection ends and remakes the world. Therefore, if you are not done with the world as it is, you will not allow it to change. It's that simple. I'm not entirely sure how they implant it, but I'm also fairly sure it's both systematic on a now global scale, and deliberate. It's a simple system and it works.
    At this point the physical body, the mind, the senses, "the world", I feel it all over me and I can't get them off. It's repulsive. I hate this place, I hate this planet. Everything is so broken and so creepy, and none of them are aware of how creepy it is, they argue with me. I can't fix this place. I want nothing to do with it. I find subliminal "violation" imagery and symbolism in media frequently, flashed for a frame or two. Again this is all tied together.
