  • Cars with aftermarket ECU's can also get awesome gauges that read from their CAN network. We install a gauge into the steering column cover that displays multiple pages of data sent from the ECU.

    • @MotoCat91
      @MotoCat91 Před 5 lety +18

      On top of the quality concerns, I've always hated the idea of a square screen in a round housing too, circles are for analogue stuff (round digital watches included in this hate).
      But with the recent uptake of round LCD and OLED screens you could fill it out more and even replicate analogue gauges.
      Like, a cheap smartwatch, one of those knock offs that run full Android, could bluetooth into a $5 OBD2 adapter, and display a full colour circular analogue gauge with customisable axes, and for a fraction of the cost.
      So why -do- these things cost so much?

    Moog playing the banjo was just epic. I remember a Lend Us A Ride chapter where you played together. Guys, for real, I need you guy to play together more instruments for us!! Please! I really admire people that can play so many instruments! Maybe it would go better in MCMTV2, but please, make this happen!!!

    Really good gauge. I've got a dual gauge set up on the coloumn with wideband and boost.
    This would of been a much handier gauge to install too does a crazy amount of stuff
