As the miata gets more and more modified, we need to be able to monitor more and more engine vitals. We’re going to install a digital dash in the miata so we can keep an eye on EVERYTHING, right from the dash! Will it look good or will the clean aesthetics of the dash be ruined? Let’s find out!
    We have a new channel!

Too much data on the screen at once, I assume this uses some sort of canbus similar to OBD2 which has a poll rate limit, example poll rate is 60 times a second.
You add one extra variable, they can update 30 times a second. You add 20 like on the digital dash here and you are lucky if you can update 2 times a second.

The only things with this mod that you might want to think about a little more is where you're getting your power from. it's tough to run wires under the dash and have them go where you want them, and because of that I often want to connect it to the first 12V bus I can find close by, but what it looks like you did is basically run your dash screen (which I imagine being somewhat power hungry) on the same fuse as one of your under the dash lights. The circuitry for the light is not designed to pull the same number of amps as your screen probably is. Now, as long as you didn't change the value of the fuse the worst thing that will happen is you might have problems with the fuse popping (which when you're driving down the road can be a big problem). If you did change the fuse however you've then created a fire hazard (you seem smart enough to not do this, so I'm assuming you didn't). Neither of these scenarios is a guaranteed problem though, so you might get away with it, but your viewers who want to try this on a different car might not.
