All three cars ran with equivalently full fuel tanks, one person in the vehicle, and using the same settings. Both stock cars are on Pirelli Trofeo R tyres where the RaceChip 570S is running Michelin Sport Cup 2s.

Not really was already expecting that the stock 570 would beat the 675lt on the straight. Misha and Robert did many drag races with the 570 against their 67lt and the coupé and always the 570s won.

lars exe you know McLaren is saying lower HP than the car has right? That is what they are lying about. Also you have to have a perfect reaction time for this. Shmee was way slower and later with the start.

Yup it does :) Detuning an engine is a lot more difficult than tuning it.

Great video. Real top level editing Benzeneben! Just wish you could sort something out about your audio so it’s not a constant struggle to hear your dialogue when reviewing the car in motion as your action cams don’t come up to clear and are constantly moving around when cornering.

If your 675 is losing against a 570 stock there must be something wrong no?
Nope the 570S has a lot more horsepower stock than McLaren says, and the 675LT doesn't and has a lot more aero. This is a normal outcome, but don't try to go through a corner at 250+ km/h in a 570S. At that moment, you want the aero of the LT.

That chip reminds me of a piggyback ecu, is that in fact what it is? That way you don’t have to open the factory ecu or void a warranty. Is that correct or is this something different?

The thing is that the 570S has been found to have more than 570 brake horsepower in independent dyno tests. McLaren probably deliberately under-report its performance to encourage people to buy the more expensive (and probably more profitable) cars.
