Fun fact......Wing mirrors, on the Original McLaren the wing mirrors they used were off a Volkswagen Corrado 👍🏻😎
I’m not complaining the carrado and schiroco was a thing of beauty. The guys are back 😉
I had a G60 and rotrex charged vr6. Great cars. With the variable inlet tracts the vr6 was one of the best sounding n/a cars of the time 👌
another fun fact back in the day were the rear lights from a tvr griffith are actually mk3 cavalier rear lights turned upside down

Good guess at the power lads 👌 All Maclaren cars numbers represent wheel horse power not crank horse power. So the 570 is around 650bhp and the 720s are about 850bhp etc etc. 15 percent power loss for drive train 👍

Just goes to show how much McLaren have lost their way since Ron Dennis left...he would never of let his pass inspection with those door gaps....what’s the point of designing mirrors with good aerodynamics when you’ve got a 10mm square edge behind the door? Rather than trying to bring a new car out every 2yrs cut it back to 3yrs and fine tune the design. Ben it’s torque vectoring

All manufactures are doing it. The new m5’s power figure is measured at the wheel. The true figure at the crank is well over 700 bhp.
Mclaren usually down play their horsepower as most 720's are rated at 712 and usually between 750 and 780
The car has been painted. Which considering it’s a rental car is not a surprise. That may explain the poor panel gaps as you can actually see the overspray in the gaps in the video. 👍🏽
Paint may be correct but I’ve seen 2 720S’s and 1 MPC-12C and the panel gaps are just as bad 👌🏼
I can see the cogs in lees head turning trying to justify the purchase price!

I like your video and your reviews.
A couple of things, the steering wheel is not alcantara as it when your hands sweat it ruins the alcantara (it goes dark and flat).
The rear shelf can be used for coats etc but not suitcases as they can fly forward under heavy breaking etc.
everything on this car has been well thought through and the amount of features it has is incredible.
The 570s is an amazing car but the 570GT is slightly slower)
Superb to drive but that’s about where it ends tbh 🤔🤷🏼♂️
@@EVILGT I have a McLaren 570s and it’s the best car I’ve ever driven. I’ve driven about 18 Ferrari models the latest being an F8 Tributo, I’ve owned 3 911’s the last was a 911 Turbo and driven several Lamborghinis.
I realise cars are a personal experience and choice but it handles superbly, the comfort, sound of the engine, handling etc are superb. There are loads of features on the car which take a long time to know about them. I love it 👌
