Do you think being a pharm tech was good job experience for being a CLS? Or do you think phlebotomy would be better?
I think phlebotomy would make a little bit more sense if you for sure want to be a CLS.

Just keep applying and attending job fairs! Pharmacy tech has great opportunities right now and you can have a pretty flexible schedule. I love tutoring pharm tech students! Awesome stuff ✔️💯🤓🙏🏽🤩👍🏽🎯💪🏽

So you did not have a Pharm Tech license before applying for the job?
Julia Perez no I didn’t. I applied for my license once I started working at Walgreens. Then I got certified about two years later before my license expired.
Rosa Perez Okay! Thank you so much. Was there anything you had to do beforehand or just apply & wait for their answer?
The state takes a couple of weeks to send you your license. I’m not sure what state you are in but you should check out what they require from you in order to get your license. I just had to pay a $40 fee in the state of Illinois.
