    Perfect video, I’ve been looking for one that actually shows how you get through some of the little thing like the ABS bolt. Thank you.

    Neglected to time the u-joints on the axle shaft. Splines must be assembled such that yokes on inner and outer ends of the shaft align, just like a driveshaft.

      thats what i was looking for! Ive been looking for what they ment on timing the shafts . Now I got to check mine to see if thats how I did it. I believe I did. I heard you will get binding and vibration if you dont.

    My son and I are currently rebuilding a 1990 ranger. We are working on the front TTB but I am having a hard time finding the dust gasket for the axle. It has the Dana 28ttb which looks close to the one you are working on. Do you have a part number or the supply house you got the gasket from? Any help would be great.

    Why not just remove the u-bolts on TC side and the drive axle from the wheel? That way you don't have to mangle the locking hub. I haven't done it yet, just ref'ing the service manual for 95 f-150

      @grndiesel Před 2 lety +1

      Very similar but a few small differences. Your 1993 might not have the bolt-on style caliper bracket. Probably no front ABS sensor either.

    • @trevormiracle5476
      @trevormiracle5476 Před rokem

      93 has a slide pin caliper and no abs unless special ordered with it and if you have the auto lock hubs your disassembly of the wheel bearing is going to be different the universal joint may be a different part number not sure though

    you should also do the the inside ujoint as well becouse they have the same amount of wear,but that is a big job the differential will need to come out to get the c clip of the shaft the left does not have one, good video ,150 lbs on the outer lock nut inside 16 in lbs,just my 2cents worth, have fun.
