Thank you very much sir
I found same thing by time joint goes everything eles needs gress anyway
When u spray them bolts do it from back oil gets in threads then
Thanks for the video
Why not just remove the u-bolts on TC side and the drive axle from the wheel? That way you don't have to mangle the locking hub. I haven't done it yet, just ref'ing the service manual for 95 f-150
Hola, me gustaría que me dijera cómo se llaman o puedo conseguir ese tipo de dados con el que extrae las tuercas de la flecha. Saludos 👍👍👍
Ok i feel really dumb asking but what about gear oil i pulled the driver side and nothing came out watched a few videos and no one saying anything about gear oil is it sealed that good or am i about to be pulling the entire diff
This video helps a ton! Thank you, although My 94 ranger I broke the yolk that you pulled out the axel from. do you know how easy it is to change that U joint and yolk?
At 7:43, on the shorter axle ( left one ), there is like a rubber « seal ». Do you know the name of this ? I looked everywhere on Google and can’t find this seal anywhere. Mine is in very bad shape.
Do u have auto locking hubs?. I have a key in mine and cant get the key out. Mine is a 93 Ranger 4x4 XLT
Did you ever get it out?
Thank you. This was just what I needed!
Now that was a gd vid. No BS. Straight to the point. 👍
Is the driver's side similar? I have a 91 Explorer and this looks almost the same...
Mine aint coming out. Its all down to where u pull it out
Thanks for the vid gonna do this on my 92 f150 soon
Is there a list of the parts replaced in this video?
Thank you for the lesson I learned a lot from Your lesson!👍🏼
At 3:10 i just can’t get the little one out any tips?! Thank you nice video
Nicely done. Thanks
Pero tienes un detalle muy importante
El único detalle cumpa te faltó poner el cello de metal con plasti de interior el que cuida los rodamientos exteriores los que van dos junto una cubeta para cada lado lo demás creo que está bien
I was watching a watch disassemble and repair/clean the other day. I said to myself, how in gods name does this guy remember where everything goes ? Watching your video reminds me of the watch video. Patience is key…I have zero. ✌🏻🇺🇸
Cómo retiro la ponga a va pegada a la transición para cambiar la cruseta de la 4x4
Could someone include part numbers for all the seals he replaced? I need to do this job to my truck and I cannot for the life of me find the correct seals.
Did you ever figure it out? I’m looking as well.
@@jimmhw nope
Very good video, will you have the number from the boards or withholding?
At 6:01 is there a bearing in that hub
That was the spindle. The bearings for this truck rest in the rotor/wheelhub which was removed at 2:24
My son and I are currently rebuilding a 1990 ranger. We are working on the front TTB but I am having a hard time finding the dust gasket for the axle. It has the Dana 28ttb which looks close to the one you are working on. Do you have a part number or the supply house you got the gasket from? Any help would be great.
you should also do the the inside ujoint as well becouse they have the same amount of wear, but that is a big job the differential will need to come out to get the c clip of the shaft the left does not have one, good video ,150 lbs on the outer lock nut inside 16 in lbs, just my 2cents worth, have fun.
is a big project...
Perfect video, I’ve been looking for one that actually shows how you get through some of the little thing like the ABS bolt. Thank you.
very good video!!
thank you so much for this
That is how one of these vids should be done. Thank you.
Does anyone have the part number for the seal that was replaced at 9:52?
can you tell me what brand are the led lights
Anyone got part numbers for the ujoints ? Are they the same for both axles ?
All three are the same u-joint, which axle do you have? 5-297X Spicer joints were factory original in Dana 35 TTB axle.
@@thisisyourcaptainspeaking2259 i have a 95 2.3 4x4. Dana 35 hybrid. With Dana 28 guts and axles
@@Adamyup32 Are you certain it's a hybrid? Late 89 the switch to D35 began, the first several months were hybrid and from there D35 as far as I know. So, I highly suspect yours is D35.
@@thisisyourcaptainspeaking2259 100% Dana 35 case with smaller Dana 28 internals. Wheel bearings are everything are Dana 28. Diff tag says 35H
@@Adamyup32 Dana 28 ttb used Spicer 5-456X u-joint.
Neglected to time the u-joints on the axle shaft. Splines must be assembled such that yokes on inner and outer ends of the shaft align, just like a driveshaft.
thats what i was looking for! Ive been looking for what they ment on timing the shafts . Now I got to check mine to see if thats how I did it. I believe I did. I heard you will get binding and vibration if you dont.
Im struggling so bad to get that alignment.
There really needs to be a video on how to properly do this.
I jest got a 94 and need a new or used axle for it a new one from ford is all most 800 buck did they make up grades for this if not . Do you know what years will work for my 94 . Thanks
where did you buy the replacement u joint
1:40 to 1:55 do you know where to get those three pieces of hardware the clip and the two spline washers
Napa
excellent thanks for sharing blessings friend
Can I get a link where you bought this off ? I'm looking at rock auto but nothing comes up for U-Joints
His right thumbnail told me to just sell my truck......
All kidding aside.....that's a great video
Great job easy to follow.
I'm doing my 88 Bronco ll and it's almost same exact thing.
Helped me sooo much. Thank you.
I watched it to see how you replaced the inner u joint 😂 oh well.
Thank you, definitely makes me less concerned about pulling out the axle when it comes time to press in new ball joints. Are those tires 31's?
i like the quiet
for ford ranger 93 are the same parts?
Very similar but a few small differences. Your 1993 might not have the bolt-on style caliper bracket. Probably no front ABS sensor either.
93 has a slide pin caliper and no abs unless special ordered with it and if you have the auto lock hubs your disassembly of the wheel bearing is going to be different the universal joint may be a different part number not sure though
