The stock caliper bracket bolts are 15mm or something close to that...
15. I just took mine off. Appreciate the video because I didn't know how to take off the brake rotor.
Thanks dude! This is the only video I could find for the auto locking hubs and replacing the bearings!!
You have no idea how much you just saved me lol. I really appreciate it. Btw its the same on a 94 mazda b4000 too!
Great video exactly what I was looking for
super helpful. was totally confused on how to get it off.
Thanks man for the simple vid I needed to know where it all goes stupid bro took it all apart and then said I can't do this and asked for help. Thanks man again
welcome man!
Thanks...helped me out tremendously
You the realest. Thank you.
Very helpful thank you. Just asking how much for the transmission and the transfer
Thank you so much. Very simple and easy video. I’ve watched so many others and yours Happened to be the best!!
I saw a extra hold on the 4x4 hub does a little screw fit in there because there is no screw in mine.
I got a 93 ranger with the same hubs do you know which manual hub fits them. It’s exactly what you were working on
Donde compro las tuercas, que quitaste,? tengo una Ford 150 1996 y se me barrio una tuerca
Do you still have those spindles?
Do you know where I can get the nut for the auto locking hubs. I can't find it anywhere
So, is it possible to re install the wheels without those hubs and have it running? I mean the bearing would be enough ? Awesome video thanks
Please I hope you see this I need the wheel bearing from inside the cap I don’t know how to take it out if someone has some advice on how to replace it let me know
Any reason why the automatic locking cam wouldn't go back on after disassembly like in the video?
While watching your video, namely the part where you reference possibly using a hammer and chisel to remove the large nut, I noticed your chisel is mushroomed and cracked --- I highly advise you to grind that off. Because if you strike that chisel and that piece breaks off, it can be like a .22 and cause bodily harm. I had to have a piece removed from the back of my hand that punctured a vein. And please wear safely glasses. Stay safe!
will do, thank you
Please I need your number wattsap
What was that name for the round part you just pulled off mine is broke and can't find one
Torque specs on nut?
Hello. Do you have the a a locking from 96 ford 4wd .. I NEED ONE. HOW MUC
what is the difference by the location of the splined washer and the other 2 washers ?
from my experience , the thin washer and the plastic thick washer on on the out side of the splined wahser, and , those 2 are larger inner diameter than the splined washer.
where can you get the cam assembly from. I don't find it anywhere online. Is there a junkyard or some NOS place you know about. If you have some let me know I'll buy it.
Es muy peligroso a que los valeros tengan ese grado de desgaste
Any body got a cam assembly for a 94
I need the hub cap for my mom's truck. 94 ranger
Will this work with the 1994 Explorer? Thanks in advance
Yes man is very similar if its not the same
Got any tips for where to find a decent tube bumper for the front end? I've been building on this truck for going on a year now and can't find any thing outside of OEM stuff
It's probably tough to find aftermarket parts for these older Rangers, maybe jegs, summit, ebay, amazon, jet, bonanza, cabelas
James Duff has bumpers...
Where did you find the special socket for the locknut?
I used a chisel 3:11 but you should be able to find the socket online or at an auto parts store
Good pic great
Do you still have any parts left it's a long shot .looking for a cam assembly
Sorry I don't

Hello
#W83241 part number for the hub socket
Wish I had found this before I destroyed my hub cluch
I mean cam assembly
The auto hubs actually worked well but people burnt them up cause they didn't back up 10 feet to disengage them...
What
At around 1:05 what is that part called.
cam assembly
Where can I get the clutch for a 95 ranger
probably an auto parts store, ebay, junkyard
I see it's called a cam assembly
You still have anything left off this truck?
nope it's all gone
Does anybody know the name of the tools
The tools I used are a jack, jack stand, pick, hammer, and chisel. They make a hub nut socket that you can buy if you want.
@@aDIYCarGuy ok, thanks
@@aDIYCarGuy do you happen to know the size of the socket
@@mr.salammander139 It's 2-3/8 like this: amzn.to/2Pt4ywp. If you're reinstalling, there is a procedure to follow to properly tighten everything: www.explorerforum.com/forums/index.php?threads/my-1st-gen-front-brake-job-diary.122696/
another one of fords "better ideas"
Those are not 3/4 bolt heads they are 19mm. Everything on the vehicle is metric. Yes some will seem to interchange but the actually donot.
