I have an 06 A3 2.0T DSG (same engine and transmission in the Mk5 GTI) with an APR Stage 1 tune. They're very fast 251hp and 400nm from the crank, it pulls very hard like a diesel but still has the top end of a powerful petrol. Very exciting to drive, same high quality interior except has a double sunroof and leather, very very nice cars and handle very well.

It probably feels quick because of the dsg. Leave in in auto sport and it should be better than manual shifting as it should try to hold the power ban and shift in smaller changes but quickly.

That's not mapped he was pulling away from you even in short run when he was ready. The reason it feels quicker than 140bhp it's got around 240 ft lbs of torque is a 100 more than the civic. If your convinced it's mapped take it to dynodaze on a Saturday morning to get it dynoed

How much does an ECU flash cost for one of these. Like from 140 to 170 Hp ?? Where does the torque go to..like 280 ft lbs from 236 ft lbs ?? Cheers

You need the 170hp box, or modify the existing one to get faster than this speed. It's more for the torque anyway, overtaking up hill is always good fun in a Diesel

@@g_compo8639 Got any videos of the mini dude? I'd like to see it! Skoda currently has a GTB2260VK, but it's still just a daily currently. I'd love to have more power, but currently funds and needing a (somewhat) reliable car at the moment for work!

Wait, wait, wait... You've got a 140 TDI and they mapped it to 290? That is simply not possible on the stock turbo or injectors.
Source: I've recently been quoted 'stage 2' from Darkside for my 170 TDi which included new turbo, injectors, HPFP, DPF delete and exhaust, front mount intercooler...and they said I'd be looking at around 290-300.

REMAPPED? lmfao. No, no it isn't. 0-60 mph would be around 6 seconds if it was. 9 seconds is stock

Ep3’s are not all that fast in a straight line, we’re they excel is in the corners, proper B road bashing is what’s needed for anon boosted/charged civic to be seen as fast
