So glad to see you guys with this video. I bought this for my first airplane and now 30 planes later I still grab it on Windy days and I also use it to practice or try any new aerobatic moves because I'm still a beginner. But this plane amazes me on how aerobatic it is. And the veterans at the field they have been Amazed by what it does especially that knife-edge that you were talkin about I learned to knife-edge on this plane

Great little plane. I bought one to have at the field for a warm up plane as well as for use for a beginner for the flying field. So compact and easy to learn on. I’m impressed with this model. Apprentice line from Eflite is great too. 😉

Thanks ....the way you worked through the hardware / software checkout and then the step by step through first flight in safe mode was what I was looking for in a how-to video. I've ordered one and will be trying my hand (again after about 30+ years).. My 'flight box' should be a little easier than what I had to take to the field with my K&B 19 powered "Little Stik" .

I bought one last year and I have had a absolute blast with it. Once I got used to it I set it to full throws and take the landing gear off when I won't to fly sporty. The only thing I don't like is the motor is a bit slow at spoiling up. Other than that I really can't say a bad word about it. It is absolutely hands down one of the best trainers out there especially for the price of a RTF. I think the new version have went up 40 - 50 bucks but still well worth it and the new ones have telemetry to where mine doesn't.
    Nice vid guy's 🔥👍✌️

I have my first AeroScout Hi there! I understand that you're finding it difficult to fully engage the two connections from the wing to the fuselage. It can be frustrating when things don't fit together easily. There may be a few things that can be done to make this process easier. Firstly, make sure that everything is lined up correctly, as this can affect the ease of engagement. Additionally, you may want to try lubricating the connections with a small amount of grease or oil, as this can help them slide into place more smoothly. If you continue to experience difficulty, it may be worth seeking advice from a professional or consulting the manufacturer's instructions for further guidance. I hope this helps!

The Aeroscout is a good/fun first plane (it was my first), it however isn't nearly as durable as an Apprentice. I have seen the Apprentice take some really bad landings and crashes with little to no damage.

I just got mine this week. The front wheel is held on with a Phillips screw. There is a slot on the shaft that hold the wheel. Make sure this is lined up with the screw before tightening. I had to loosen the screw a little before the shaft would slide in. Have fun!

I bought thr Areoscout 1.2 meter as my first foray into RC flying. After four crashes, I realized this has a major design flaw with the nosewheel assembly. It also takes far too long to take off and land as it has no flaps to control things. I ended up finally junking it and ripped it apart for the electronics in it. My Carbon Cub 1.2 is a far better plane to learn on.....

Ok plane, if you learn on your own. But learning with a competent instructor is a far better experience. Avoid the apprehension of the steps involved in joing a club. I heard some comments about criticisms regarding"dealing" with a club, if you want to become a competent flyer, you will have to deal with something, deal with whatever comes your way.

Okay. To us brand new to RC airplanes.....what the &^#$ does "ackro" mode mean? You must have used that term 20 times in your video, but, beginners have no idea what you are talking about, Merry! And another thing,,,,this is not a "TRUE"...READY TO FLY! you have to buy a battery and charger to complete tthe ability to fly this plane. So, it IS NOT A TRUE RTF! Other rc airplane companies...include "battery and charger" in thier RTF's.

I'm new to rc as well, but I think he's referring to "advanced" or "expert" mode. If you're using a Spektrum transmitter (the remote), there's a three-way switch...also called the B switch. You can toggle that between beginner (or SAFE) mode, intermediate mode, and advanced (or expert, or acrobatics/aerobatics) mode. Hope that helps

information. it is in a consumer's best interest to SEE what he is looking at.!
at :18, this model has a less-than optimal thrust line; and, putting the mass of servos at the tail is the OPPOSITE of smart.!!! the root chords of stabs Should be EQUAL in length.! consequently, the vert-stab is larger and HEAVIER than is necessary. any rc pilot SHOULD Know where a cg Should be located; under 'normal' conditions. (meaning, a normal model that has a nominal dom. distribution of mass.) cg is Not a distance, it is a ratio. FOR ANY WING (under normal conditions) cg Should be located at Thirty percent of chord (or mac).! at :45, the foregoing has been said in order to make-up for the Absence of any discussion of cg; prior to preparation for take-off.!!! because this model has a zero-dihedral wing, a (novice) pilot should Already know ailerons.!!! at :51, this model is Under-prop'd; with a prop that is Too flexible for the application. When an electric prop is Noisy, SOMETHING is Wrong.! at 1:23, aileron span is a bit excessive. the Mass of wing-located servos Should be located as Near to the fuselage as is Practical.! an aileron Should be stiff enough, to accommodate an optimal servo location. googletranslate

@@MerryBoozerRC Neither does he! Without dissecting, that whole mess of a post "When an electric prop is Noisy, SOMETHING is Wrong", this one sentence proves it. All electric pusher prop RC planes are noisy, due to the fact the air/noise from the prop isn't being dissipated across the fuselage like a tractor style plane.
