33 years ago, I got the “husband stitch” My doctor gave my husband a wink. Was I asked if I wanted this? No! My answer would have been ‘just put me back the way I was before the tear’. Sex has been uncomfortable since.

Women who have been subjected to this in the past have experienced horrible long lasting side effects. That is absolutely malpractice for a physician to carry this out!
It’s a male chauvinist pig move and I saw it destroy a marriage because Dr convinced hubs that it was his wife just being over sensitive to light pain, as she was screaming and bleeding. Dr blamed pt but did reversed his tightening up procedure. His words were ‘I made a spring chicken out of you! He’s just an ass, I found a new Dr right away!
We aren’t pieces of meat to be cut and sewn to someone’s satisfaction! This makes me so mad 😡
With my legs wide open after having my baby, my husband asks "Hey! Make it extra tight for me!". I kicked him out..😫
That is disgusting and incredibly disrespectful and demeening of your husband. It doesn't seem like he respects and values you as a human being and just sees you as an object that can benefit him. You deserve to be treated better.

I would have kicked him out too…of my life! 🤨 I follow an OB/GYN who talks abt the disgusting husband stitch request, and says if/when asked for it, she’ll respond with “ok, how small do you need it, sir?” 😅😅

My very good friends Dr. Admitted he made a spring chicken out of her! He nearly cost them their marriage before he had to go back in and correct it. Dr. Grinned like he was doing them a favor. She continued under his care and I dropped him right away.
Oh no. I would ask…
“so how small do you need it sir?”
That would cause a lot of pain.

Well my biggest concern with this is scar tissue doesn't stretch.
I got it before knowing it was a thing. The father of my child didn't ask, he was focused on the moment. I did. I asked.😅 After the exhausting natural birth, I asked for an extra stitch or two while getting stitched up.. he was like, "I got you" 😂
SAME! I don't know why women are so offended...it's like a tummy tuck after a c-section ....hell yea I want those extra stitches 😂...my Dr asked me privately tho lolol. I didn't even know what it was but so grateful he asked & explained😂
Because more often than not they were not even asked if they consented.
It's just matter of consent.
If the woman getting them agrees and preferably is the one asking for it... It's totally fine.

the husband stitch is something done for the pleasure of another being (husband) that physically pains the women who it’s actually being done to. This is generally done without consent of the person who it’s happening to, and sometimes the husband too. If trans people change their genitalia, that’s a choice THEY THEMSELVES make, which won’t hurt them. two very different things.
