- In this video, we take a look at the all-new 2024 Toyota Tundra 1794 Limited Edition. This collaboration with Saddleback Leather Co. brings the Tundra interior to a whole new level. Mix that with the Fox TRD Pro suspension and you got yourself a more desirable truck than a Tundra TRD Pro.

They missed an opportunity only making 1500 of these. At the very least they should make 1,794 of them.
Yep. I say that too in the video
@@TRDJon Sorry, jumped around the video a little and must have missed that.
I think it would be pretty cool seeing this 1794 limited edition in Army Green, 6.5 ft bed, and with a darker brown Saddleback leather similar to the regular brown leather!
Absolutely agree ..!!
At the very least, in a 6.5' bed!
This is gorgeous truck, hands down i would buy the 1794 because you get the best of both worlds luxury and trd capabilities great video
Honestly this is brilliant, and crazy it took the oem’s this long to figure out that a lot of people want the off road suspension and wheels/tires on the luxury model. Just cause I want the luxury model doesn’t mean I want the dumb 22’s on rubber bands…
Awesome video TRD John. I would definitely buy the 1794 Toyota truck looks so sick that will be my dream truck to buy in the future.
Goals bro! You got it Tyler!!
I just got a blue print limited with the off-road package. It’s all paint matched. It’s amazing. Power is so good.
I love this. I love the 1794 trim, but I have always hated chrome.
Yes, I love my 2022 1794, Ted off road package as well. The fox suspension is sweet on here. Now I need that upgrade for mine. Dang it! Love this package.
i just picked up a 2024 std 1794. I wanted a Limited edition but couldn't pass on the mostly loaded and discounted 1794. Mine is a silver CrewMax TRD Off-Road, w/ 6.5" bed. I'm adding a matching canopy and running boards.
Always appreciate your energetic and honest reviews. Thank you for your great content. Love this truck. Just got my 2024 Capstone Sequoia and traded my 2021 Sequoia. So different but they are both awesome units.
Thank you so much for your support!
1794 limited looks great! TRD pro is too plasticky and kind of cheap looking. I would love if the 1794 limited edition came with 6.5 ft bed.
This is what I’m looking for. So glad Toyota finally made. I’m going to the dealership soon. Hope I get one.
It’s like they grabbed bits and pieces of all trim levels and made one truck lol😂😂😂trd pro capstone platinum 1794 all the above 🤦🏻♂️
That is a super beautifully truck, dream come true, the details, I got the 2024 Limited TRD with all the toys, but this leather seats are out of this world., I like the western style
I'm waiting in line. After my blacked out platinum this is it❤
Thanks for posting this video! Just put a deposit on one going into production next week
Mine was supposed to have been built yesterday
Such a good idea to make 1794 of them. Toyota should listen
nice! i just picked up a 2024 std 1794. I wanted a Limited edition but couldn't pass on the mostly loaded and discounted 1794. Mine is a silver CrewMax TRD Off-Road, w/ 6.5" bed. I'm adding a matching canopy and running boards.
Very nice! Congrats!!!
Very Nice, I especially liked the iForce Max badging on the hood. That's the wheel and lugs my 23Plat should have. I'd buy that over the Capstone for sure or TRD Pro.
100000% Totally agree with ya!
This looks really nice. I almost purchased a 1794, but went away from it because of the chrome overload. If this was available before i purchased my Platinum I might have gave it a second thought. Honestly though, I love my Plat and think I made the right choice for my liking.
Right on
I think the Platinum with the off road package is better than the PRO or 1794 for the money
I would buy that over a trd pro. I will say though they could of done better with the grill and the mustache situation. 1794 editions have always been my favorite trim.
I like the dark chrome on this blueprint color though imo. 1794 is great!
Yes. No shiny stuff👏
Would take the 1794 limited edition any day of the week. I test drove the Pro and the interior was very cheap similar to an SR5 trim but with leather seats. I ended up going with a regular 1794 trim and put 35k miles on it in 1 year. Very comfortable highway cruiser. Tempted to get a limited edition now.
Can't go wrong!
35k miles in one year? Any issues?
@@andyleo8418 Luckily no other than the 3 recalls for bed cover, software update for backup camera, and potentially leaking brake or fuel line. I loved the truck and was able to sell it for $6,500 less than what I paid for it which is not bad considering how much I drove. The only reason I sold it was to take advantage of the market prices before they fall. I picked up a new Tacoma that I’ll drive until the new GX is out.
@@Beanercounter sold it right before it ran out of factory warranty. 😂 Good job!
I love it. Would definitely buy over the pro if I had 90-$100,000 Budget for a vehicle. Toyota might surprise me on price but it's still going to be up there 😢
Definitely would take the 1794 limited edition with the trd pro suspension
That looks better than a TRD Pro, IMHO.
Looks like a very nicely spec’d trim. Other than the black wheels I really like the look.
What color would you prefer? Like a mag grey?
@@TRDJon yeah grey, silver, bronze, machined, brown, anything other than black lol. I just think black hides too much detail and doesn’t give the wheel designer the credit they (sometimes) deserve.
I could talk about this topic for a long time.
Long story short if you're going to USE this truck no, the seats do show sign of use way sooner than a TRD Pro.
That Is the only negative.
Now 1 of 2 things need to happen.
I need to make a lot more money to buy this truck
or
This needs to flop so I can buy a used one!
This is a must for me!
Just bought a 20 1794, so I am out of the race of buying one.
Beautiful truck, wow.
Hi there. Dave here, the owner of Saddleback Leather. I designed this interior with Toyota and designed the leather with one of the highest level tanneries in the world. It was very difficult for them to develop it to look and feel like this and still meet Toyota’s strict wear and appearance parameters, but they did it. These seats won’t show signs of wear that any other Toyota leather seats would, for a long long long long time.
@@saddlebackleather Hey Dave! Mistake on my behalf. I have the previous Gen tundra 1794 seats, that’s what the comment was in regard to. Not necessarily the ones you and the team have created. My seats gets scratched/stained easily, vs black pro seats don’t show that as much. You guys killed it with the design and color! Also congratulations on being able to work with Toyota!
Hello Dave! I was wondering what you all recommend for cleaning and protecting the leather in this truck? Mine was supposed to have been built yesterday @@saddlebackleather
I’ll be trading in my 22 platinum for that baby ! I called my dealer today and requested one in windchill pearl. I love the leather. Probably be my last truck.
I’ll take the 1794 Limited Edition any day over the pro.
Love the 1794. I have the standard edition and love it
Pro for sure
If compared to the trd is for i reason, i still prefer the trd pro, the interior doesn't look like big deal to me
For sure! Something about a TRD Pro is super special!
that is beautiful color wow
Yea that blueprint looks great
Yes
I take this one over TRD pro
But I wish they have 6.5 bed
I've got a Tundra Surprise coming, but it's not what most expect :) But I would not have it any other way! The 1794 is the caddy version of the fleet! I like it, but I think it will appeal to an older demographic!
Oh you do??? Any hints??
@@TRDJon One hint, it's so basic I only have 2 letters in the series I bought ;)
Yes its raw and luxurious at the same time
I would buy it over a TRD. Like you said best of both worlds! Only problem Toyota will prob price it around capstone which is cool. It offers a lot… but the dealers will tack on so much it will be ridiculous.I’d guess a min 10k add on. This will be the truck the dealership owners kid or the Gm will tool around in for 5k miles then stick back on the lot with a 15k up charge and it will sit there for a couple of months until somebody who doesn’t care about money buys it.
Hey Jon what days will you be at the LA auto show?? Love your channel🙌
Thanks man! I'm not sure. I think just the media days
1794 then best edición for everything
Hey, Jon! Would you be able to list out the trim selections to be able to option one out like this? I realize it's a limited run with that particular interior, but I can't seem to find how to option a truck out like it without getting the doo-doo brown exterior for 2024.
You could do a 1794 with the cream interior, trd off road and maybe a trd lift would be super close to this.
I wonder if these will come standard with TRD performance pack? Pop the hood!
Have a deposit on one waiting on price
Definitely would pick this over the TRD Pro. I'm guessing a silly price tag of $85K. The only thing it's missing is 2 more cylinders.💪
Good call!
Dealer near me I have been emailing says they will have one come 1/24 in celestial silver for $75k. It’s either this or the new GX Overtrail for me and I’m so torn which to get.
85 k. Id still get trd pro, because of color. This looks more for a rancher or someone that hauls things a lot.
Very well done.
Glad you liked it!
Has anyone figured out how to run an auxiliary battery set up off of these hybrid trucks? I’m searching not finding any out there….???
Nice beautiful truck that’s very good over then Trd pro. This is much better quality and luxury
But I like better the top of the line tundra Capstone 😊 #1 single line
VERY sharp looking truck ! Too pricey for this old fart, but it does look great 😊
Nice truck. It’s 100 grand!
Thanks for the hot take! Bummer it is not offered with 6.5' bed because I would need to choose short bed, or more luxury. Do you think 37's will fit with this suspension after some trimming, or would it need more?
It’s a nice looking truck but I have never been a fan of the brown interior of the 1794. I would take to pro over this one.
Noti gang on deck
I truly appreciate it man!!!!!!
Considering they just recalled 100,000 vehicles I think Toyota's best days are behind it.
Well, they recalled over 200K 5.7L V8s
Lol! Here we go again with the trade in game😂
I bought the TRD PRO 😎
They did a great job on the interior and the leather this generation
Thank you
I do it in 2023. Better options
Is there no tow squat, I love how this truck looks without chrome, mines all chrome 😭 😂
Looks great for sure!
The mustache needs to be blue also
Ive seen this same exact truck in multiple videos
That trim always has Grampa brown interior.
Love this!!!! Though I’m guessing $90,000
It may be close to that for sure
I predict this will become a "normal" trim in 2025 or 2026. The same leather, etc., just not numbered.
I honestly hope not. Maybe a normal 1794 with the suspension could be a thing though
Isn't that a Capstone grill? Would have been nice to see a new grill.
It is but with black chrome
I like chrome, lots of chrome. But this is nice.
I don’t know, the TRD pro still looks better on the outside. I’m not a fan of the seat pockets. To each their own tho.
Looks mean for sure.
This 1794 definitely cost more than the TRD pro. But I still like the TRD pro better. 1794 is good for the older people and the TRD pro is for the younger people like me and you😊
For sure will
With green exterior and this is what I’d get ..!
I’d buy that over a pro. My guess is we would be looking at about $75k.
I’d guess north of 80k.
Agreed
Should limit it to 1794, or limit the limited to 1500, makes no sense to have a limited trim and then limit edition another trim
20" wheels means 35" tires?
Just a thought but wouldn't soft-tex outlast leather?
Yes. Way more durable
This leather is very thick and durable. Id be shocked if any synthetic could outlast it
Don’t get me wrong it’s a nice truck, BUT if we are going western Yellowstone Cowboy theme. The Ram 1500 Limited Long Horn blows this out of the water, not even close
So since they are limited edition with only 1500 production. Are they all made in Japan?
No. In TX
So the person seated in the middle back seat probably will be uncomfortable. The biggest question is, did they fixed the wind noise?
Probably not
i am sure this gets closes to 80k !!!
Totally agree
No way I'm paying 80k+ for a truck
Plenty of used out there
Probably 100k price tag
I think in the $80Ks or close to it.
Peasant blockers 😂
Toyota is facelifting the Tundra for 2025, as well as the Land Cruiser 300 and Lexus LX. Not sure about Sequoia though.
They were shown at a private event. LX 700h *in DFW!
Oh yea? Interesting
Great idea to make 1794 units. What a miss Toyota.
It sure is!
Nope. Capstones are the slowest moving trim locally, and this is just another Capstone IMO, except it's a limited edition, so maybe more desirable and profitable for dealers to mark up. Let's get the trailhunter released already Toyota.
But will any of them actually be available?
1500 will
any new information/price on this truck yet?
Nothing yet man.
@@TRDJon Darn.
85
Toyota just need to make a Lexus version of this truck.
This is the TRD Pro with more opulence bells and whistles
i am not a fan of patina on leather so I will leave this for those leather heads >:D
lol all good bro!
This leather should not patina. Toyota has strict standards on that
I think Toyota want to get rid of capstone model and bring this limited edition, because they look the same accept the seats
$75k is my guess? I like it
If I had to guess I'd say in the 80's.. Basically a limited edition capstone with trd suspension.
I say mid 80’s
$99,999.99 🤣😂
Just shhy of 100K lolz
Deposit down, windchill pearl…
I will not buy until Toyota offers tundra with a full-time 4x4 option!!
They never will. That’s what the Land Cruiser is for.
@@travanw85, they just offered that option in 2024 tacoma for the first time ever. If they offer that in tundra, I will sure buy one.
Leather too orange.
It isn’t that orange in person. This was the camera making it look like that.
yes it looked way too orange
Wait - just realized - it has all the TRD optioned - but they put power steps on it. UGH - come on toyota. Was told specifically factory wouldn't do that with TRD. ARGH!
Such a wasted branding opportunity. Make 1794 units!
Not TRD Pro UCA’S
No
The interior color is awful. Not my color but still love the truck
MSRP = DUMB DOLLARS
Not for the price they are asking....let the rich You Tubers have at it.....😆
Whats the price?
