Wheels look pretty good. Way too much tire poke for my tastes, however. Different offset and going to a 285 wide, rather than these 295, would look perfect. 285/75R18 (34.8") would likely be a bit too tall, even though they are a bit narrower, so maybe the 285 with a 70% sidewall. 295/70R18 (34.3") vs 285/70R18 (33.7") is only 0.6" difference in height. And the slightly shorter and narrower tire, than the one in this vid, will be less headaches, but still have the oversized look and benefits, such as more sidewall and better rollover. This video convinced me that 285/70R18, with wheel offset the same as, or close to, stock, will be the go-to tire for the new Land Cruiser. <thumbs up>

Sorry havent heard a clear answer yet, since youve had hands on both. Are the interiors the same on the new taco and 4runner? Trying to get a feel for what 4 runner im going to get and nothing out yet on the 4runner besides the high level trims

Concerned about the long term viability of the hybrid system, I personally would hold off at least another cycle. In addition the price is just a bit to high for these new Tacos. I think the Nissan Frontier Pro - 4x is the last of the V6.

Polished on LC looks amazing! Really fits the style.

Maybe an ok product, but install is so finicky I’ll never know. Two sets ruined and now I’m trying to figure out how to remove adhesive residue from the cluster. Don’t be influenced, at best a coin toss on a good install and damage if it does go right. Oh, and a “no return policy” from the company.

285/75r18 probably wouldnt rub, theyre a bit taller, closer to 35, but theyre about half an inch narrower

I’m not really a fan of the polished wheels but you are right with the roof color, even though I personally don’t like polished wheels these wheels look good on the cruiser because of the color combo with the roof

People complained so much about the 5th gen being too underpowered with a lame transmission and Toyota answered with this thing despite the 5th gen selling really well. You didn’t know how good you have/had it with the current model.

I'm personally going for the LC. If the GX was available with the hybrid, I would go for that. As for the LC vs 4R, I love the coolbox in the LC (a small feature, but great for me, as I travel extensively), the climate controls for the rear, and the full-time 4x4 across all trims. Both vehicles will be great, but the LC is the better fit for my needs.

The Manufacturer has these people who are really good at math etc. they designed the wheel size for many reasons, don’t change it. 🤪🤨🤔🧐

I agree the 18’s look better. The machine alloy wheel does give it visual pop but the design to me is not appealing. All those spokes remind me of sedans from 90’s and it’ll be more work to clean. Maybe a six spoke or 6 hole look?

I have a tacoma but I'd LOVE to have the new 4 Runner. The new Tacoma doesn't give me enough reason to upgrade my 3rd generation.

I think the larger tires and wheels make it look more Bronco-ish for some reason. Much prefer a more understated off road look that the LC is famous for.

The MPG is better, but the COST per mile is the key. Premium fuel costs about 60 cents more per gallon, which is close to the same as a 3 MPG loss as compared to regular gas. In other words. 23 MPG with premium fuel at $3.60 per gallon, is close to the same as 20 MPG with Regular fuel at $3.00. These are rough estimates. There are websites where you can calculate cost per mile. MPG is important, but cost per mile is improtanter. :D
