Nice to see a positive video about Maltby. Although you mentioned lack of clothing shops there actually is one, it can be seen at 10:48 to the left of the bus stop. There are 6 pubs and 3 working mens clubs, there used to be more than this but they've gradually decreased over the years as with many places. There's also some beautiful countryside surrounding the town and Roche Abbey just down the road.
the pubs I implied was the DJ queens and Lumley arms but I forgot about the white swan I'm going to do a pint in a pub at those soon as I've never used them all the others I've been in. I remember from a few yrs ago a gents clothes shop on the x roads where that tech shop is but hands up dint know of any others, the times I come to Maltby too.
@@Rothermanthe Swan as a pub closed down a few years ago. Its now partly flats or a flat and partly a curry house. The clothes shop is only a small one, called one last chance, sells mainly mens clothes I think.
@@Rothermanyeah. Used to be maltby miners as you said in the vid. I used to climb over the wall and play football as a kid. They have whippet racing there on a Saturday morning.
