    MTRLqzgOj Nvidia's Pissed
From its humble beginnings as a graphics card maker to its current status as an AI powerhouse, Nvidia's journey is nothing short of remarkable.
But how did this transformation happen, and what does it mean for the future of computing?
Nvidia's story begins in 1993 when three friends - Jensen Huang, Chris Malachowsky, and Curtis Priem - founded the company with a vision to revolutionize computer graphics. At the time, PCs were primarily used for word processing and simple tasks. The founders saw an opportunity to bring high-quality graphics, previously only possible on expensive workstations, to everyday computers.
Their first big break came in 1995 with the release of the NV1, Nvidia's first graphics processing unit or GPU. While it wasn't an immediate success, it laid the groundwork for future innovations. The real game-changer arrived in 1999 with the GeForce 256, marketed as the world's first GPU. This chip could handle complex 3D calculations, freeing up the computer's main processor for other tasks. Gamers loved it, and Nvidia quickly became a favorite among PC enthusiasts.

Apple was going to demolish Tesla with its electric car. Well that did not end well for Apple. Apple is phones and it’s not even very innovative any more.

NVDA is the leader and will stay that way for next 10 years

Except no one is going to buy Apple except Apple enthusiasts.. there are things about Apple that still annoy many.

Apple is a closed ecosystem, Nvidia is open source. Apple is more consumer AI, Nvidia is industrial AI. Two different companies that can easily exist in the same space.

I don’t feel Apple is a threat to Nvidia, but they eviscerated Intel. Apple doesn’t really have aims for data processing for data centers (except maybe its own). I could see them developing their own A.I. data center chips, it only for themselves.

Lets not forget with apple u cant swap out old hardware and they do not support right to repair. Lets be clear evga fell apart as a company. They barely exsist now and that was all the fault of the ceo, he destroyed the company

Apple wants you to be stuck in their ecosystem. 8gb of memory was a standard with ddr3, that’s still their on their current base computers.

Neither Nvidia, EVGA, Apple nor AMD produce their own semiconductor chips. They all use the world's largest foundry TSMC. These companies design their own semiconductors, but they rely on foundries like TSMC, Samsung or Global Foundries for their chip manufacturing. Intel has a small foundry operation, but they have not yet matched the advanced process node that TSMC can provide.

NVIDIA write history by making avaliable the capability to use local AI models without need of internet. All the others try to copy this success and comes second.
