That's not what it means. It means they couldn't prove it beyond a reasonable doubt, that's very different than entirely proving the allegations false. Domestic abuse is notoriously difficult to meet the legal threshold of evidence if you don't have literal recordings or witnesses of the incident, even pictures of bruises can be argued to be fake . Ultimately I don't know what happened here and it's not like I want him to be guilty, but I do believe there is an important distinction between "not convicted due to lack of evidence" and "proven through sufficient evidence to be not guilty." In one of those instances, a crime may or may not have happened, in the other it's sufficiently proven that it did not happen.

Apparently its speculated that it is 40 episodes from ending anyways. The renewed contract the network signed during season 2 or 3 slated an episode count which would amount to exactly 101 episodes. (This many episodes is also a reference to a joke from the pilot) Following the current active contract the show will most likely end within the next 4 seasons as every season is 10 episodes and there are currently 61 episodes.

@@WickedFamix it’s a weird plot device that ended up evolving into what it is. What about Tammy’s relationship with Bird Person? She turned out to be an undercover agent who was trying to get close to Rick the entire time.
