A bit of extra context for "Mr. Birchum": this is actually Adam Carolla's SECOND attempt to bring the Bircham character to series. The first being a pilot for Fox Sundays, during that wierd time where everyone was trying to fill the TBS-bound "American Dad"'s time slot. Of that whole stinky daisy-chain of failed pilots, Carolla's pilot never made it to the network (I don't think). He screened the pilot occasionally during his live shows, and was noticeably salty over the rejection. Speaking to your KoH comparisons, if you want to picture the older pilot, he actually hired a bunch of newly available "King of the Hill" crew to work on it. So basically the same pilot you're seeing now, but with very "Arlan, Texas" visuals, as opposed to Brickleberry Lite.

I live in one of the bluest parts of the USA. One of the bluest cities in one of the bluest states. Even here, people don't talk or act like how progressives are portrayed in conservative "comedy." Like it's not even offensive, it's literally that the stuff conservatives actually think about people is fictional. And yeah I get that it's meant to be satire but it's just so ridiculous and self indulgent. Like clearly this kinda slop is written by people who think that vegans and trans people existing is a threat to their way of life (getting gynocomastia from drinking too much beer and divorcing 2 or 3 times before 60)

Adult animation is completely run of the mill and forgettable these days, and Daily Wire thought they could add to it with their done to death jokes about liberals. This makes me want to watch that Simpsons/Family Guy crossover car wash scene. Yes, I went there.
