Thanks for all the feedback on this video! Did your favorite fineliner make the list? :)
JetPens .
the sharpie pen is one of my favs , its ok that it wasnt shown though because i think it isnt that popular. otherwise amzing video as always
Can you guys make a close up montage please??? It looks so satisfying!
I love the staedtler triplus ones. I also own the stabilo ones, but I prefer Staedtler xD
I personally love the zig/kuretake writer! it has two tips, a 0.5 and 1.5 and I just LOVE how smooth and pigmented both tips are!
These videos blow my mind. Whoever your creative director is, give them a raise.
Thank you so much! It's definitely a team effort. :D
I personally own the Sakura Pigma Micron pens and they are amazing! They have helped me get my handwriting way better and are great for taking notes, drawing, and almost anything else besides calligraphy. I also have the Fiber Castel pens and they are excellent at calligraphy. With both of these pens you are pretty much set.
So they are good? Some people say they aren’t good under continuous writing (ie school notes)
@@toocoldtobother7271 i'd recommend fineliners for headers. Gel pens others of the likes are far better suited for notes since the tip won't break down
Them: sakura, Faber castle, stabilo etc.
Me: pen
Great video! But maybe another factor that should've been added is how comfortable the pen is to hold/write with, that is also another factor people look for in buying fineliners!
khloe ringor as well as the versatility
Thank you both for your feedback! We'll keep that in mind for future videos. :)
Gotta say that I love the Pigma Micron and Triplus Fineliner ones! They're just nice to write with and a lot of them have nice vibrant colors for color-coding. Plus, they're also budget-friendly for a college student like me! 😄
Very helpful video for this pen geek!! Even for a non pen geek.. so much great info.. Love Jet Pens...
Marvy Uchida are my favorite.
Precise, easy to work with, I don' t have any issues even when I use watercolours over them, and they are cheaper then the rest here where I live.
Nice video as always, thank you JetPens 👍
I'm in search for some new fineliners so I can continue finishing my drawings, thanks for your help!
Loved the sakura pigma micron pen.
Thanks for making such a good video.
I still prefer the Sakura and the Uni Pin for my day-to-day use in bullet journal and graphics in mathematics. Also, for my bullet journal I use the Monami Plus Pen 3000, they have a sort of colors and they fit very well to. Thanks for the video!!!
i could sit and watch jetpens videos all day long
Sofia Janelle Clemente omgggggg same 🤣🤣🤣
The Staedler Triplus seem very smooth as well. I only have experience with the Sakura Micron, Staedtler Pigment liners, Pitt artist pen and Staedtler Triplus. I favor smooth over any other feature because the smoother it is, the quicker I can write and the neater my handwriting can be. Wonderful video! Succinct and packs so much useful information.
Incredibly useful. Thank you.
1:35 Actually, the pigma micron comes in 0.8 now!
That's what I was thinking
And dont forget also had 0.4 too
Thank you for the excellent video. I'm surprised at how much you like the Sakura Pigma Micron. Each different tip is a completely different experience. Smoothness and line darkness varies so much with the different sizes. I hate some and love some. It would be more helpful to have the option of seeing the full report. I just recently found your website, and it felt like coming home. I've been crazy about pens my whole life. I found my peeps!
I like Faber Castell fineliners, I think I used most of them. They're not expensive, perfectly designed, have great and comfortable grip and don't do bleeding or ghosting on paper. Pigmas are nice too, but only thin ones - 0.5 doesn't draw very smooth.
Love those Staedtler triplus!
What would I do without u guys..have ordered stabilo point 88..😍😍
Great info. Thanks for sharing!
YYYEEEESSSSS...IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THISSSSSSSS
Defenitely ordering the pigma microns off jetpens! Thank you for the video!!❤️❤️
Glad you found it helpful!
Planning on ordering some petites when I get home + some Hi tec C maicas
Wow, this is just 👏👏👏
This is the perfect guide I needed :0 I have a question, does the Sakura Pigma Micron pen smudge with pastel frixon highlighters? I don't have zebra mildliners so those were the closest I could find. It would be really mean a lot to me if you replied! 😁♥️
After the Marvy LePen and Terenishi, what would be the next darkest black inks? I'm looking for a nice dark black ink fineliner that would come in a couple different sizes- I don't need a million sizes, but a nice extra fine, fine and bold would be amazing.
This is really helpful!
I used the Sakura Pigma Micron. I think, I'll give the Copic Multiliner a try. Thanks JenPens.
Hope you like them!
I love that you wrote the pens in alphabetical order @1:02 😌
The stuff i most use is Uni Pin and Sakura microns. 😊
I have the micron and the staedtler triplus
I wish you guys would add a couple more videos a week. I learn tons and it helps in me finding the right art supplies for my needs! You're a favorite company of mine based out of one of my favorite cities. Northern California for-ev-er! (I use to live in San Jose) hahah :)
Thank you so much for your kind words!
This is fascinating. My Micron nib just died and I was debating on if that was still my best option. I have several others shown here as well. I use them all differently. I prefer the Micron for daily BuJo use but I may try some with finer nibs. I’m interested in the smallest lines possible.
Hope you find something that you like!
Love my stabilos!!!!
I have used Triplus, Le Pen, Point 88, and Rushon Petite and I find myself reaching for the Rushon Petites more than anything else. I like the round barrel as opposed to the Triplus' triangular and the point 88 angled barrels. It also comes in more colors than the Le Pen so the color selection is amazing for me.
Yes, the Rushon Petites are great! :) Thanks for letting us know your experience.
Nice general overview vids that you guys make. I'm sorry to say that the Info on the Staedtler pigment liner is incorrect for their nib sizes. They also have a 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, and a chisel tip in the same line. You should have also included the Rotring Tikky Graphic and the Faber-Castell Ecco Pigment in this vid if you guys really wanted to showcase the best of the best. Anyways, keep up the great overview vids. Thanks.
For me the copic multiliner SP! Wide range of tip sizes and replacable tip and ink!!!
I’ve had a pack of stabilo since 1995 & they still write well in 2024
uni の style-fitも紹介して欲しい。
Can you guys do pens for heavy handers?
That's a great idea! We'll add it to our list.
HI. In my experience, the Sakura Pigma Micron (and Copic Multiliner) has a very soft nib and might even disappear before the ink is finished, whereas the Staedtler Pigment Liner has a very hardy nib that can be used on top of watercolour and gouache paints if you so wished and returned to "normal paper" for drawing or writing without any problems. Hope this helps.
Yes! I have a very hand
Johnny Whatevah that may be right but the Coptic multiliner has nib replacements!
My favorite fineliners are Uchida Marvi Le Pen
Love jet pens
Staedtler pigment liner :) but I own the faber castell pitt pen kinda sad to know:(
Loving the new profile picture!
What's the advantage of using a fineliner over a gel pen in planners?
Very informative nice vid
How many different right ways are there to hold a pen or pencil?
I've seen draw wiff waffles try out the art n fly finepoint pens can you review it too in a future video
I was rooting for Sakura pigma the whole time😂
are Pilot Micron Fineliners use water based ink
I love Sakura pigma micron
So, when do you usually use fineliners vs. gel pen? I know you can you them however you want, but like what is the "main purpose" I guess.
If we want a bolder line, we go for fineliners.
I have a sarasa pen too
I only use stabilo point 88 cause its realllyyy cheap like 90 cents a pen xD
I gotta ask, am I the only one not carrying a mildliner in my EDC or even in my drawers of things I use? I much prefer the Uni Propus over the Mildliner.
I put my Mildliners in my student use area alongside their friends the Sarasa Mark-on (Yes, my kids are spoiled).
Can you do a ballpoint pen line up please 🙏🏼👏🏻🙏🏼
It's on our list, but we're not sure when we'll get to it! Hopefully soon. :)
JetPens ok then thank u
Hello! This video was very nice, I really enjoy your videos! Do you have any idea if the pens ship to the UAE? Thanks!
Yes we ship worldwide! Thank you for watching. :)
can you courier to India when ordered? I lived them
Can you guys please do pens for heavy handers
or
best 1.0 mm pens, please??
Your videos are great!!
Yes we'll put it on our list!
Nothing beats Uni for me I just got used to them
You should add "tip smushiness" to your list...with a proper name. That drives me crazy when it's a great pen for 2-3 uses, then it's too smushed
Do you have like a school supply bundle that is less than 100 dollars for good amount of things. Like Pens for smooth writing, mechanical pencil and what not. Or any coupon discounts? I would love to buy a lot of pens, but sometimes people can not afford a lot of these pens. They are great tho.
We have pen samplers here: www.jetpens.com/JetPacks/ct/2354
Wait, Pigma Microns also come in 0.8
I bullet journal... it’s the best
The Sakura also comes in 0.05
Yep, I have one that is even smaller, a 0.03! They are the only company that makes a fineliner that small that I have found.
Maybe a test for Copic/Alcohol-based proof?
Is the staedtler or stabilo better for school notes?
They're pretty much the same! The Staedtler has a clip so your pen doesn't roll away so that's nice.
JetPens awesome thank you for the advice! I’m deciding on which one for the next school year so...
Hi. The Staedtler Pigment Liner is more for design and art, whereas the Stabilo is more for writing and general purpose crafts, so I'd say if note-taking was your intent, then go with the Stabilo. Otherwise the Triplus Fineliner or their newer Triplus Broadliner range is also a great student option.
When will you do part 2? I can't wait!!!
It's coming out next week!
Which pen is the best all around or overall best?
That's a tough call! For archival quality, we'd go with Copic or Sakura. For everyday, Stabilo or Staedtler.
i am extremely confused what should i get staedler broadliners or staedler fineliners for bullet journal can someone help me
We recommend the Staedtler Triplus Fineliner Pens. The 0.3 mm tip size fits most writing styles and lets you doodle and fill in details easily. You can find them here: www.jetpens.com/Staedtler-Triplus-Fineliner-Pens/ct/1313
can i ask what notebook is being used in the beginning?
It's a Rhodia Goalbook! www.jetpens.com/Rhodia-Goalbooks/ct/4423
Why are the Arteza fineliners not in this video?????????😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
02:21 why there are two 0.5 tip sizes? Nice video though!
Thanks for catching that! The first one is supposed to be 0.05 mm.
I want your handwriting!!!!!
Le pen and the rushon petite are the same pens???
They aren't! They look similar but they're from different brands. You can find our Marvy Le Pen Fineliners here: www.jetpens.com/Marvy-Le-Pen-Marker-Pens/ct/1218
Teranishi Rushon Petite Pens: www.jetpens.com/Teranishi-Rushon-Petite-Pens/ct/3507
@@JetPens they have totally the same design and shape
I want to buy copic, micron, & staedtler ... Please suggest me that I'm right or wrong 😉😝😝
Those are all great pens! You can't go wrong. :)
JetPens awww thank you 😘
Hi. It sounds like you are looking for a high quality fineliner range for art and drawing. They all have pigmented ink so all three are waterproof. The Sakura have very soft nibs, so if you are heavy handed the nib might wear out before the ink does. The Copic Multiliner is expensive and the only real advantage to them is that they are Copic Marker-proof. If you wanna use them with Copic Markers then they are the way to go. The best imo is the Staedtler Pigment Liner, they have the hardiest nibs. The copic has a good standard colour range which includes a "wine" ink, while the Sakura has some of these pens in sepia. The Staedtler has the least number of colours in their range. I have used all three and some others and I would buy the Staedtler again. If you wanted to try some others then the Rotring Tikky Graphic, and Faber-Castell Ecco (not the expensive Pitt), are very good for design and drawing too. I hope this helps. :)
Do you guys ship to UAE?
Yes we do!
Darn it. I want a pen that writes smoothly, dries quickly, doesn't smear with water or highlighter, doesn't bleed through the paper, and has a variety of bright neon colors. Why can't there be one that does it all?
Where is arteza?
Uni pin pen da best
ALL
Uni fine line pen 👍
Too.much plastic.. Need a good strong fineliner recommendation for work use ( work in metal fabrication and need it to survive heat and the occasional impact)
2:45 did she mean 0.05 for the copic?
She meant the line in general!
JetPens oh thanks for the clarification!
Zebra sarasa line up please
We hear you! This video will be released in two weeks. :)
Thank you soooooooooooooo much I know a lot of people who Will be glad to hear this . I am extremely sorry for repeating this soooooooooooooo many times. Keep up the great work 😘😘😘
2:07
Do I trust you guys...
Is it just me or the Uni Pin Pen had the least amount of showthrough?
Me: *Uses Sakura Pigma Microns For My Notes*
Me Artist Friends: your wasting such a good fineliner on your notes, I’m taking that, you don’t deserve it
Me: OH HELL NAW I PAYED LOTS FOR THAT
uni pins and microns have 10 tip sizes with their misleading tip size numbers
they have 003, 005, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, and 08
at least mircons tell the actual tip size on the body of their fineliners
i feel like instead of handing in a cv, the people in the videos just have to submit handwriting samples to get the job
Want the finest 0.03 mm fineliner? Go for the Copic Multiliner!
Want the best fineliner in this lineup? Go for the Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pen!
Want your mildliner to be smear-free with fineliners? Go for the Marvy Le Pen!
Want the least amount of colors on your fineliner? Go for the Water-based Pilot Drawing Pen!
Want a popular fineliner? Go for the Sakura Pigma Micron!
Want the smoothest fineliner in this lineup? Go for the Stabilo Point 88!
Want most colors on your fineliner? Go for the Staedtler Triplus!
Want a water-resistant fineliner? Go for the Staedtler Pigment Liner!
Want a Marvy Le Pen but with more smoothness? Go for the Teranishi Rushon Petite!
Want a fastest drying fineliner? Go for the Uni Pin Pen!
I was legit screaming and cheering for faber castel ahahahaha
Sixth comment and 382nd view whooooo
who else thought the stabilo point 88 was a mechanical pencil like if you did
