One of the coolest things I've discovered about the Pilot Varsity is the hack that let me refill it with whatever bottled ink I have, so I really don't have to throw them in the recycle bin, lol. I love turning the Platinum Preppy into an eyedropper too! It's so easy and it helps me use up all my ink samples 😉.

Well, guys, your vids did it. I decided to get those cool RayMay scissors (with a form factor like a pen) this month...probably would have just gotten those, except for your suggestion that these inexpensive pens make a nice add-on so you can get free shipping. So I got the scissors, a washi sticker roll (which I also saw in one of your other videos), and 2 of the "write on anything" pens shown here (though I was very tempted to get one of those vibrant pens). I went to a lecture at the local library a few months ago because i was intrigued by the idea of fountain pens that anyone can use, being left-handed and never taught how to do so correctly (my few attempts in grade school resulted in either bent nibs or big blotches of ink). At the end, there was a gieaway for Platinum Preppy pens in different colors. I won one, and decided to get a set of six when my tax check came in (although I also bought a clear to get over the free shipping threshold and to have one to experiment with inks if I so desired), and while it took a while for some to get started because of air bubbles in the cartridge, they worked quite well.
