I Broke Into an Inaccessible Cutscene Room... in the weirdest way possible

- At the end of the mission Cairo Station in Halo 2, Master Chief takes a bomb down an elevator to a famous cutscene room. But up until a few years ago, this room was completely inaccesible. That is, until a weird glitch was found called Dead or Alive.

Mouse and keyboard on halo requires a complex 4d muscle memory pattern played 120fps for months daily I think it's worth it if you integrate it into an overall brain and body iq physical training thing. Mk is hard also because you must maintain high turning speed and high precision consistantly without folding under pressure anxiety cutting your blood supply giving you cold hands and falling out of pace. Cardio and muscle mass in the wrists and finger tips can increase reliability of aim no jitters. Movement and player placement not to be forgotten and just meshing everything into your muscle memory map though accepting that it is an insufferable process if you have hypersensitivity as you would think being sensitive is good but you must be calm as those online matches are very sweaty nobody is giving up a centimeter of space or a 10th of a second up for free unless they are very garbage
This guy understands. There is no 4 shot on PC with a Battle Rifle because you’re literally shooting 12 individually aimed bullets whereas controller is only really shooting 4. I sucked for a full month before I got the hang of MnK for Halo.

One day, I'm gonna wake up and find this guy in my bedroom. i did not know this glitch let you have 2 different players in 1, tbh it would be a fun mode if such a thing existed officially where multiple players must play chief together lol
It's so much more impressive in a video game when we can actually go to all the places we see, in cutscenes and in background scenery. Makes the world feel more alive.
Back in 2003, releasing a tech demo where if you deviated from the path even slightly, the whole world would fall apart was considered cheating by the Halo developers.
Nowadays, we get a sterile open world with big chunky hexagonal prisms, or 'look at me, a world of discs and custom Forge objects is falling apart and I'm a big action hero with a quicktime event' gameplay. It's so annoying in Infinite when the grappling hook suddenly doesn't work for no reason other than 'Nope! That'll be going out of bounds!'
For a brick, he flew pretty good!

Just found you man and hell yeah, this was my jam in college - breaking every map in Halo 2. (I'm old enough thats where I was for the halo 2 release). So many cool finds. Though my suite mates said I turned halo into a hiking simulator😅
Halo 2 map breaking was PUBG before it existed. Delta Halo… bro I can’t even tell you how much time I’ve spent walking on that map.

Just a heads up the remaster cutscene being at the wrong resolution/not centered is because of FSR, in the settings menu, turn it off to get back the full screen but you will lose performance depending on your graphics card.
And the machine in that room is the main mac gun autoloader, like what some tanks and warships have but with normal non sci fi shells, you can see the shells come down into it, love the attention to detail.
This is one of the coolest rooms I've seen in Halo honestly
