How can anyone thumbs down Ron and his team. They provide an essential service 24/7 to keep transport routes open. Keep on truckin' Ron and Mid west trucks.
1 hell of a great job on this one. Most of the crashes you recover don't make me cringe. This one did. The story the street told. Everytime it entered the picture. It made it hard to believe the driver was ok. Oh one last thing. So glad that smell a television was never invented. The black sludge was enough for me. You rocked it and beat a storm. The man.
I hate to tell you this but we were taught when my son played soccer that if you can hear thunder, you ARE in the danger zone to be struck by lightning. Glad you got done & out of there before the storm reached you.
Marcia M you don’t even need to hear it I read a article a few years ago where a guy got hit by lightning on a golf course and the closest storm was 25 miles away
Ron pratt this was the best video I have seen on the internet! You darn sure know what you are doing! May I salute you sir you know what that 50 ton can do!!!!!
Mr. Pratt, it's like you are playing the piano the way you use those wenches! MAD SKILLS Sir!
Bravo !!! The first time that I have seen all five lines used in the same job. Keep safe everybody, don't let accidents happen to you through inattention and carelessness.
Talon seems to be becoming a much bigger part of your operation and seems to be a very valuable employee. Hard to find now a days. Great video as usual.
Agree!
N
Yup
Talon is the type of person all companies need. He's hard working and loyal.
There are many recovery videos on you tube, but your videos get the viewers involved in what is actually happening and the problems involved.
I love how your chains are so organized in your truck
If they weren't organized could you imagine trying to find a chain you wanted in a jumbled mess of chains?
A place for everything and everything in it's place.
I love talon: “Nobody authorized that”
Good to see talon stepping it up n less hands in pocket action. Anyways great vids Ron and good job keeping the roads clear.
One thing I've noticed is how clean your fleet is I never see any dust or grime on your tucks (outriggers don't count lol) , they are always clean even the tires look freshly cleaned. Very professional. I wish businesses here in CA operated like you do; 100% professional, timely and courteous. Keep up the great work And God Bless and Marry Christmas :)
I second that comment. The wreckers out where I am are nothing like this outfit. This outfit here is the gold standard.
As I sit here watching you & Talon recover this wreck I am SOOOO impressed with first of all your saftey & care of your fellow worker. second of all your expertise! Recently found your channel & ya all are thumbs up all the way!
Good thing Talon has quick reflexes. That wood block about took his head off.
Talon is his son-in-law so if Talon were to get hurt his daughter may read Ron the riot act.
@@jerrycoatney6474where did you come from??
RON U AND TALON are awesome Great job. Well done. I love how u watch out for ur men . Ur number one. Ur so polite and nice to the men. God bless you all.
Coolest tow truck man also very patient with people you work with
Ron, the skills you have with your rotator fascinate me every time! also fun fact, I kind of found your channel on accident one day, I believe over a year ago now, and I'm happy I did, I love tow trucks and the way that you can make them work wherever/whenever needed. been watching every video and the old ones ever since! god bless you man, keep up this great work!
THAT ONE BLUE SUBARU yu
...AND... he does *NOT* use profanity, either in jest or in irritation!
What a refreshing experience, dadgummitt!!!
Thank you, man!
@@dross24MA for the most part no. I've watched many of his videos. He let "assend" slip out in one. One time in all the videos I've seen. Pretty impressive!
@@twinkie27271 Darn tootin’
Ron you and talon make a great team GOD bless.
You put your rig in the exact place it need to be to load the compactor on the flat bed. I love how a plan comes together.
Ron Pratt wow is what I say just amazing put the trash can on the flat bed got the tractor out towed it in I think . Thanks for the nice video all be blessed with loving care and grace. PS God bless and protect you all.
No stress here, thunderstorm with lots of lightning all around and one gigantic lightning rod to play with. Sounds like fun. Glad you got it done in time by the looks of those mammatus clouds and that anvil cloud above you. Another safe job done.
Thanks so much Ron I appreciate your videos very much. You have a really nice looking tow truck. I like how you make your videos you explain everything and show a lot of different things. Thanks again I will be praying for you and your crew.
Aren't you glad you didn't have to clean that mess up! I'll bet that was.....umm....fragrant.
LOVED the lighted cross towards the end of your video! I pray daily for safety for you & all your men.
They obviously called the right man yet again, your knowledge of the truck and physics never ceases to amaze me. God bless you, your family and your friends.
Great job to Ron & Talon. Keep up the great work
Yet another great job Ron. Everyday is a learning day on the job
Been watching your videos for the last three days and thoroughly enjoy not only the action but the professionalism with you and your crews and the respect that you have and get from Police and Fire departments in the area you serve. Well done.
wow you really got a tool for everything in there with all those compartments for chains, hooks, blocks, etc and anything else you could possibly need great video to.
Forget the whole rest of the video. I am just drooling over the thought of playing around with those space age joystick controls that pop out of the rear sides of the tow truck! 🤩🤩🤩. Me push buttons, yeah yeah yeah.
Best rigrolling video I've seen so far 👍🏼
Wow, thanks! Thank you for watching and God bless.
I think that your Rotator is the modern version of the one that I drove in the 60s' , 1951 Ford cab-forward w/Flathead V8 and Split-Boom . Good old truck , just had to remember to secure the booms together before driving off . I was 17 w/only a class"B" Chauffeurs license , my boss would tell me , "You're legal getting there" , "get there quick and pick the best one ." He owned a Body Shop .
It's great that you' re carrying a small step ladder for Talon. You're giving him jobs like the rest of the crew, even though he's short and you don't belittle him.
The short man's helper is for Ron.
He just shared with Talon.
Always paying attention to safety first.
That's a good boss and a good dad.
Ron, thank you again for your great videos. God bless you and keep you safe.
Good to see Talon stepping it up!
I thoroughly enjoy these posts for several reasons: #1. You don't swear. #2. I'm not handy so I love to hear your think through the strategy of how & why do to or not to do. #3. I'm a musician and I love to hear those screaming trumpets at the beginning of the post. Thank you! D.
What would you two do without that teeny little step ladder. I tried to count how many times you used it and lost count at a dozen. One of the least expensive but most important pieces of equipment in your very varied chest of drawers. This was a great video. Loved to listen to you and Talon chatting and laughing as you worked. Good job, guys!
Ron I can't tell you how much I enjoy your
Video and how you include God and family
In your life thank you
KEEP make them.may
God bless you and your family.
It never ceases to amaze me how companies and municipalities are allowed to get away with putting large boxes like that on small wheelbases. What did the designers think would happen?
this job looks like it’d be very fun but at the same time you gotta know what you’re doing so everyone is safe. very dangerous job. just like police or fire thank you for keeping the public safe !
I must confess........ I love following along to your intro music with my PAN FLUTE! ...lol@me
I am always happy to see Talon helping you. He is such a big help. Great video. I hope you got back to base before the big storm hit. I always love your videos and was glad to see a new one. Thanks.
Damn those are scary roads- no curb, no berm. The pavement ends and wham, the ditch begins!
I bet that gravy smells real good
Every job has its draw backs
Keep up the good work
You would think that a heavy truck with a heavy suspension would have more control on the open road. But after watching your channel these last few months I am beginning to change my mind. Thanking I have not been in many accidents. One that was my fault when I was 18 and a few fender benders. I have never had a loss of control crash. I wonder if there is any hope for us who drive with lighter suspensions. I guess the real key is being ever diligent in driving. I know as I age (63) I try to stay off the roads at night. I only drive in areas that I am 100% comfortable and know. Rainy and at night makes me sweat bullets!
Your rotator is a great piece of machinery Ron.
1:26 me looking through my pile of 15 left hand gloves for the one I haven't lost that fits my right hand
Another good video from Ron and Talon . They are both men of Integrity . Steer clear of that leachate on a job like this . Some dangers are not as easily seen .
SOMETIMES SMALL TOWES CAN BE THE BIGGEST PAIN. GOOD JOB
Love these videos........That boom is a lightning rod. Thunder is the cue to leave.
I like your videos a lot! I think I figured out why! My Uncle used to do work on tire testing equipment, what you do reminds me a lot like working for him.
That truck is probably the most impressive piece of equipment I’ve ever seen.
I appreciate that you don't use the more colorful verbiage as is common with most folks.
Same here. Every time I hear "dad-gum" it puts a smile on my face.
I like how the tow driver knew so well what he was doing.
Another amazing video that shows a lot of interesting tricks ! I had no idea how complicated this can be but thanks to you i got a very good idea now Ron !!!! God bless you man !!!!
Do you ever get sleep? Or time for yourself? I just love your videos. So Organized. I have watched everyone one of your videos. Keep up the great Job. I dont know where you get the time to post for all of us. Your amazing. Thanks for everything you do. God Bless
Man, I "got thirsty" about the same time you did! My goodness! Shoot, this one time at Raytown Amateur Radio Field Day, I was on a tower (with a thunderstorm over Kansas City). Lightning you say? I guess it's the "Submariner in Me" who looks at the clouds and screams... "BRING IT ON!!!" :) Ron, you have produced a Fine Video. :)
Ron thank you for sharing with us GOD bless everyone
I am addicted to your videos and I love♡ How you show such Respect not only to your workers but everyone❤Ron Thank You for sharing not only your Kindness but your family also❤Your like a breath of fresh air in a world that is not always so kind ❤God Bless & Stay Safe
What a great channel I could watch this all day
Love the closed captioning. Like when you put the winches in preschool. LoL
Free spool
hats off to Ron, one skilled operator. !
Ron, I love your videos. I have nothing to do with trucks or towing, but they are so interesting, I can't stop watching. I think you should take your still photos and videos and give online classes for beginners. Set up situations and ask students: "how would you get this car out of a ditch, or upright this trailer?" You'd be great at it.
Love watching videos from a fellow Missourian
That was one heck of a recovery. Good job as always, Ron, but especially on this one. Well done.
Apologies if this turns out to be a long comment, but I worked in a new truck sales yard for a period, and I saw the bare chassis trucks go out and come back with whatever the customer needed fitted... However I never imagined how they could possibly break off like this.
Two years later I was sent by an agency to work for a major coach builder (lol, seeing as I was a coach driver, and I have some metal work experience, why not).
I saw the way coach frames were attached to the chassis.
I'm back to driving coaches now.... All I will say from that experience, is, in some of the welding in the builds I now see from overseas (some poorer nations), I hope we never ever see, and nobody has to do a recovery on a broken coach body like this truck. Horrid thought, I know, But it plagues me.
I'm sure even your own truck is not immune.
May someone always be watching over us all.
I used to be a school bus mechanic. You do not wanna see how they are built.
THANK YOU FOR DETAIL VIDEO
i manage to find those
auto retractable ratchet ties and i love how they make things easier, no need roll strap anymore, i use more often those small size ratchets.
Hello Ron and talon you all do great team work together from Westminster MD
14:00 Just hang on to the darn boom like Tarzan. Either way, he still pretty much climbed up the same spot he climbed down from.
You are really good. I enjoy seeing you work.
Go Talen. Beat the storm, good deal. Off to the next.
Even take two is great to watch! We never miss a mile :) Great channel!
Great skill there Ron, manipulating 4 lines and the boom to roll that compactor body....👍👍
I was waiting for one of those cables to pop when you took it off the ground! Be safe!
some crazy skid marks on that asphalt, a long ways from where that truck ended up. I wonder how fast he was going?
and the asphalt damage. I'm betting the trash co's. insurance is gonna LOVE this one!
That had ta be the scariest one i've seen you do yet Ron. Could have flipped the rotator over. As usual, great work! God Bless y'all and keep y'all safe my friends...
Mr. Pratt love the way u all work as a team and it flows so smoooooooooth... great job be safe God bless it team...

Nice job Ron! They say trash is cash!
I pray the driver is ok and I hope this don't cost him his job ! I like watching you work the rotator an this one was real good because you had to use all rope cables sorry for the trash company ! I never wish anything bad on anyone God Bless all involved ! Stay safe !
Good morning having fun learning about your jobs
A great job and a great video! Thanks, God Bless!
Big big fan of the drag winch!
Hi Ron as always well done to you all take care and god bless Snowy
Wow!! A repeat performance of a job well done. lol On the spot modifications were free of charge, I expect??? Watching it twice made it three times as nice. lol Great job again, and glad that everything went well both times. 😜😜😜 I still think the truck wanted to have a bath because it smelled a bit "off" lol. God bless you all, and another job done with some good laughs. That poor clevis that was on the ground drove me nuts, as I know you are a stickler for picking up your equipment. I survived it twice though. Laterz!! 🚛🚛🤪🤪😉🤗💕🐸
Excellent Vid Ron , one of My Favs , Prior to getting the Rotater what % you Estimate would be Jobs youd have to Turn down and ir Really Struggled with

That step stool is like every other step stool in the history of the world,.
It has probably lived on that truck since new yet it still has paint splodges on it. ;O)
Ditto all the remarks, but my favorite was when Talon said, "Nobody authorized that!"
Great video of the recovery im from Lebanon missouri
I watched this yesterday... Great video.
