@@donnyj88 I do the same and it does more than just looking good. It makes things easier, cleaner and safer. I don't understand why more guys don't do it, even when I worked for other people I'd keep my gear clean and organized. The last thing you want is to be digging through dirty gear in nice clothes when you get called away from Sunday dinner.
As for safety, organization keeps your time in the kill zone down by not having to dig through your gear on the side of the road. The color codes show weight ratings at a glance and the one thing people overlook is paint helps show cracks. I've seen hooks fail under load and its not pretty or something I'd wish on a enemy. By keeping them clean and painted you'll see a crack 100 times easier than a rusty piece of gear.

@Calvin H. Actually, that truck is just a tall rollback/tilt deck truck. It is not a hook lift. The gentleman that owns it has been to our shop to pick up wrecked vehicles before, so I have seen him operate it. Thanks and God bless.

Just started watching these videos. I've done towing for years, some recovery, mostly insurance wrecks after the fact for insurance auctions. Impressed with the equipment and hats off for the operators doing the dirty work. He asks for prayers for the accident victims but prayers for the operators too, they have dangerous job and bad weather increases the danger.

Ron..as an audiologist , the loud high pitch beeping sound your lift makes , over the years of doing that will significantly damage your hearing. Hearing smoke detectors , doorbells , and other high pitch noises will be much harder to hear. Wearing ear protection will shut much of that bad noise out , but still allow you to hear people talk. Take care of those things on each side of your head. You need them.

Is there a limit on how many Nissans you can catch in one day?
I'll bet that there is a teenager involved somewhere. Both of my daughters totaled a car while they were growing up. The insurance agent told me that about half of the teenagers destroy at least one car. The son of my wife's cousin has destroyed two cars worth more than $40,000.

My son totaled 3 cars in the first 6 months he has his license and not one of the accidents was he at fault and no injuries in any of them but.....poor kid almost gave up driving he thought he was cursed. Our insurance company wasn't real happy with us and they gave us a hard time but since all 3 accidents were the other drivers fault not much they could really say but they did raise our rates a bit just because of the amount of claims in such a short time but our independent insurance agent went to bat for us and actually found another company to insure us at a lower rate than the original company 😊
My son is 32 now and has never had even a fender bender since that time. Thank God.
