I believe there is. Social media and the ease of access to thousands of people have basically created a large group of people that would fall under the banner of Psychopath. This is because the social media is all about gaining a collection of short term gains/gratification (Likes, comments, subscribers and thumbs up from a multitude of people) from a large group of the population thus people engage in this behavior thus more Psychopaths.
Sad enough you see this in dating Jordan openly states in one of his talks that the men who have the best success on dating apps are psychopaths. So if you wanna get better at dating you need to develop and cultivate psychopathic behaviour. By extension this means the uptick in Psychopaths is because of women because women continue to choose to sleep with and date Psychopaths. Men in order to stay competitive in the dating market have to become Psychopaths.

id argue weve always had the same amount of psychopaths, i think the way the world is today so transparent with evil, that its easy to find more psychopaths. you see the black girl who killed the white girl in missouri? looks like it to me.
I think psychopaths dont build vendettas against people, so when they mention it at 4:47 i think psychopaths are more impersonal and are actually screwing people over for their own gain, because psychopaths lack so much empathy and typical emotions, that there is an element of neurotypical emotional pain from building a vendetta, that psychopaths don't really hold.
if a psychopath is betrayed, he'll be pissed off, but he doesnt do things out of anger, he does things out of self interest. now granted, who is to say that psychopaths don't ever act neurotypical? we all have mixes of black and white in us. the psychopath consciously screws over other people, knowing full well of the consequences and the ramifications of their choices. the psychopath doesnt care. thats the endline goal. if a child steals an orange, its out of ignorance, a psychopath isnt ignorant.
the real question is, do we want a psychopath to be defined as evil, or simply mentally ill and challenged?

Having followed Destiny for a bit, I'm sure that is how he has heard it described before he then read up on what they were citing or when he can he'll just ask people he knows who's job it is to know these things. But he's was obviously not going to waste time trying to get into the weeds of arguing about it the way Jordan and Sam got stuck on what the word truth meant. Something Destiny knew could be a possibility going in and wanted to avoid it at all cost, so the OG post is actually silly.
The mistake I see so many people here make is that they treat this clip and their interaction as if it's a zero sum game. Like Jordan's recent conversation with Alex if you had actually seen them talk about it before hand you would know they went on his show. Because there are things that he's said they genuinely wanted some clarifications on but haven't actually gotten to that point. Since so many people who have tried to talk to him about it would do one of two things. Either be hostile because they are so stupid they can't tell the difference between Jordan and Tate. Or they don't really challenge him on when he goes around the question. The talks and their goals were different but I think Alex did a better job than Destiny. Jordan still danced around certain subjects for reasons I don't understand, but for once Jordan would actually steelman the person asking the question and give additonal clarifying examples where I for the first time finally got the sense that Jordan doesn't dance around it because he wants to be able to flirt and dogwhistle to certain subsections of the audience to use his answers as scapegoats.
For instance when they went into the example about how if Jordan was a witness to a crime, he wouldn't afterwards tell the cops interviewing him who asked him what he saw "what do you mean by see exactly?"

I had that at my old job with the manager. Guy thinks his anger and strictness is power but it really is his weakness. It was one reason I left that company. I chose not to deal with it because long term, it fucked my mental health up bad where I was more happy jobless than working there full time. With annoying customers however, it was more dealing with that for a small amount of time so it really wasn't anything to care about since it will happen once in a while and most likely they won't last as employees or business owners if they are too into their toxic ways.

Mine too. In my experience in most cases they turn out to be uneducated, emotional, attention whores.

I gained my degree in Sociology, with a minor in Psychology in 1981. The past century of mental imbalance study categorized societal behavior into three types. I) Normal behavior conducive to the foundations of civilization and its continuance. 2) Behavior defined as a Sociological Pathology, in short Sociopathic behavior. This included oddball behavior that ran outside normal behavior like walking around the park backwards just to do it, basically harmless. Murderers are categorized as sociopaths, as well as homosexuals. All being defined as being destructive to the core foundations of civilization. 3) Behavior defined as being a Psychological Pathology, short term Psychopathic behavior. A behavior that was not just destructive to the core foundations of civilization, but lacking an attachment to reality. Psychopaths demonstrate a need to change identity to escape into a more powerful identity they were not experiencing in real life. It can even be into an identity that is one of victimization, being the gaining of power through being the victim, somehow. Murderers that are psychopathic demonstrate mutilations to gain power over the individual, or from the individual they have killed. It offers a freedom from the societal structure they could not exist in. A freedom to do anything, or be anything, without rules, and ultimately to be free from reality.
Today, as the media has taken the population into the abyss, psychopathic behavior is now the victimized norm. Here is the progression:
After WW2 the media began to promote trans men in the movie 'Some like it Hot-1949. In the 50s the media cabal separated the youth from the adults by giving them their own music called Rock-N-Roll. This music indoctrinated the youth into rebellion. In the 60s the Supreme Court removed prayer from school and began the death spiral of America. Juvenile crime, drug use, pregnancy skyrocketed and in six short years the media brought in the 'hippie' movement with its feminized male persona. In the 70s the media pushed homosexuality with its 'prop' superstars that were promoted to do this very thing. Elton John sang "Love lies bleeding in the sand, I can tell by the things I will do with another man." The Kinks had "I know what I am, and what I am is a man, and so was Lola." Van Morrison sang "Roll me over Romeo, there your go, Lord have mercy.". Today this is still in full push with Luke Brian's song "My baby, HE is in the shotgun seat, them kisses are for me, this life may not be for you, but it is for me." From the 80s on came the push away from reality, past trans, and now into the abyss with the presenting child molesters as simply 'minor attracted persons', and pushing the idea that little boys should be castrated to make them little girls.
This is how the slipping away from a pure cultural heritage can, incrementally, degrade the entire society. How all western societies are breaking apart, and have throughout history. Five empire ages have come and gone: Babylon, Media Persia, Greece, Rome, Neo-Roman empire.
This is how liberalism destroys nations, it allows for the change away from what made that society strong in the first place. Change the outward face of a society and in time you change the inward identity.

Jordan Peterson is such an incredibly intelligent man. I enjoy hearing him talk, I feel like I learn how to be a better & more understanding person each time.

Every time I hear Jordan Peterson I learn something. Before two weeks ago I didn’t know who Destiny was… now I feel dumber having heard him speak.

Thanks for informing this interviewer about his personality. Instantly he stopped being disagreeable. 😂

Being disagreeable doesn't mean that you disagree just for the sake of it.

What is hilarious is that P. was the interviewer. Guy looooves to hear the sound of his own voice.

In the discussions I most enjoy, people treat each other as friends who don't (yet) see eye to eye. Next, not-very-friendly battles for dominance integrating formal politeness (e.g. restrained interrupting) and generous respect (e.g. good-faith striving to fully grasp the other's views). Least enjoyable: battles for dominance that are simply uncouth.

@@TheDionysianFields Uh, it was pretty uncouth. I've seen them both do better, Destiny somewhat when talking to Ben Shapiro; Peterson especially, at various times. But he doesn't seem much given to it anymore. Something's deprived him of that relaxed, self-forgetting, confident and curious state that breeds it.
