What if I told you it was possible to reverse your age by three years, in just eight weeks? Well, it is, and today you can learn how. Perhaps the greatest part of this exciting news is that the changes we can make to reverse biological aging are pretty simple and very accessible. The amazing doctor behind this groundbreaking research is my good friend, colleague, and long-time collaborator Dr. Kara Fitzgerald.
Dr. Fitzgerald is on the faculty of the Institute for Functional Medicine, is an IFM Certified Practitioner, and lectures globally on Functional Medicine. She runs a Functional Medicine Clinic Immersion program for professionals and hosts a podcast series, New Frontiers in Functional Medicine, and an active blog on her website. Her clinical practice is in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. With the Helfgott Research Institute, Dr. Fitzgerald is actively engaged in clinical research on the DNA methylome using a diet and lifestyle intervention developed in her practice. The first publication from the study focuses on the reversal of biological aging and was published this past April in the journal Aging. Her new book, Younger You, as well as her 3 Years Younger Program, have just been released.

I hope that I will see a day when doctors and health providers (especially elder care) implement and endorse this guidelines.
I am a 57 yr old woman and my fraternal twin died 4 months ago from an early onset dementia -- over a 7 month period she lost every ability including talking and walking. During this very difficult time, she needed nursing home care, and it was so shocking to see the diet that was provided to the nursing home residents, including soda at every meal and frequent desserts. For me, this made an awful situation worse. I pray that it doesn't take decades for this information to be adopted by health providers.

Agree! The problem is, no pharmacy companies can patent things like foods and sleep; and well, there isn't nearly as much money to be made in healthy people vs sick people. They don't want people healthy, and they don't want them dead. They want people hovering around in between as long as possible, where they are so dependent on things like meds for literally years and decades.

My doctor doesn’t seem to know the root cause , I’ve seen multiple doctors and all seem non the wiser as to the cause of my over active bladder condition - I’m young (I think people assume bladder problems are just a thing or age ?? But I disagree!!) i have suffered for years .. would be super grateful for any thought on what could cause this - I have been vegan for 7 years (whole foods - no processed foods at all) I follow Steven gundry zero lectin diet .. yet still I’m suffering and having awful side effects from the medication that I am in for it .. I feel over active bladder/urgency doesn’t seem to be talked about much , but I’m sure others suffer too - root cause thoughts would be amazing

I understand, but with this tiny little study she explains that women's hormone cycles were something that she wasn't able to account for so she had to use men to keep it simpler and straightforward. She's doing another much larger study that includes women and is hoping that other scientists take these results and run with them. Following the program should have the same results for women, it's just far more complicated measuring them.
