- Are you worried you're mispronouncing your favorite motorcycle brand? Or you don't give a rat's ass but you're nonetheless curious how it's pronounced in its native language? Or you're going to the EICMA 2019 and want to impress the beautiful hostesses there? Head this way.
I'm lucky enough that I've studied a few of these languages, but for the ones I didn't I watched a lot of CZcams videos with native speakers pronouncing their national motorcycle brands and I asked my international friends and family for some help. Am I spot on? Probably not, but I think I came very close. Comment on what I'm mispronouncing.
* I know some of the brands are not from the country I put them in, like Bullit (Belgium) and Brixton (Austria). In these cases it's their brand names that count - reading on their history, it's clear that their brand name is English.
** KYMCO and SYM are acronyms - I pronounce their full, non-abbreviated, names. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Came here to learn how to pro
nounce Cagiva correctly and wasnt disappointed
In France YAMAHA is often pronounced "Yamaá" and it really annoys me
Hi sir I am your biggest fan
Thanks!
Thanks for the pronunciations I couldn't pronounce half of them just got a Moto Guzzi trying to say it properly and also Royal Enfield is no longer English is considered an Indian motorcycle for a long time now
As I explain in the video description it's not about the country where the bikes are built, it's about the language of origin of the brand name. Royal Enfield as a brand was born in the UK, so it has a British pronunciation.
Okay just want some clarity sorry that I didn't hear that Premier original beginning of the the video great video anyhow helpful
indian motercycle pronunciation video pleaae
My favourite motorcycle logo is YAMAHA with the 3 crossed diapasons
Or Peugeot with Le Lion symbole de Franche Comté
Good choices👍
I'm partial to the MV Agusta logo myself.

It's an Austrian company.

@@thepsquare4359 Yes, it is. But again, like I mention in the video description and as I also explained in another comment it's not about the country where the bikes are built, it's about the language of origin of the brand name. KTM as a brand was born in Austria, so it has a German pronunciation.
Its from Austria.but Indian Company Bajaj owns the major share of the company
Yes, it is. But again, like I mention in the video description and as I also explained in other comments it's not about the country where the bikes are built, it's about the language of origin of the brand name. KTM as a brand was born in Austria, so it has a German pronunciation.

Tomos went bankrupt on January 2019 - this is mainly about still-operating manufacturers.
