I went to the first signing in Toronto, and I remember seeing Steve walk in with his cardboard cutout and just look around for a second to ultimately shake his head in disbelief. It was an awesome experience to just be around all those people, make friends in line, and to be able to meet Steve, who was so kind to every single person. Also the Easter seals guy was there and Steve screamed and picked him up, only later to tell me that he regretted that because of his back 😂 Great experience, great guy 😊 glad we can show our support
I'm CZcams famous! I'm the dude wearing the caps gear at the front of the line. Had this signing took place during the leafs vs caps playoff period I would of got chirped for days! I held back and left my jerseys at home but Steve exposed me right off the bat and some shouted for me to let Steve sign the caps merch lol. Steve, never sell yourself short. I’ve read the book front to back, yes it’s main focus is around hockey. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but there’s way more to it then just hockey. Being a small channel it’s inspired me in ways I never knew possible. Your advice about CZcams, amazing, the bit on mental health, encouraging...you deserve all the attention over this book. Trust me. My uncle introduced me to your videos just over a year ago, and nowadays they are something I look forward too. Yeah I am definitely over them this year. Going to follow Vagas, very interested to see what damage they do again in he post season. I think all reasonable leaf fans like us have known for a month they are going to get killed by Boston with there shit play and effort as of late. Its easy to out shoot a team constantly but it takes grit drive and hunger to actually win. Something the leafs lost when Nylander came back. The team pre January is gone. They have been a meager 500 team since. Not good enough sorry.

Yeah I think re-signing Nylander was a mistake. Seeing you guys play against the Flyers pre-January was like watching an out-of-control ferocious monster, now they're a shell of a team anytime I see them play. I don't think it's on Babcock, I truly believe that Dubas caved in to Nylander's demands. Steve's not going to agree but it destroyed the momentum the team had and they've been unable to be fully in the swing of it since. They'll probably get it together again next season when everyone's at training camp together.

The honorary (C) was a gift from the Hockey Gods that creates added pressure on 1player to perform sparking a sense of urgency in the Captain to keep the club motivated and focused. We mock the gods by not having a C.
Leafs can definitely win the Cup this year, whether they do is up to them. I'll always be in but sometimes I do get concerned and a bit pessimistic. I wish you all the best and I hope you don’t run into us.

Bad slump for the buds, but honestly they could've easily scored 6+ goals in this game. There isn't much to take home here except sometimes you run into some bad luck, and the refs hate the Leafs ( what the hell was that call at 2 mins left in the 3rd ). Only thing that worries me is that Sparks just.... isn't ready for NHL play, need to get some seasoning on that kid still.
