Great things to remember. We are going the first week of September. I always bring small hooks and magnets to hang my hats/caps or plastic bags. Small flashlight for night time walking, a good pair of walking shoes, water shoes like you said, waterproof phone cover, a good small cooler to carry cold drinks in the car, a large refillable water bottle, backpack, hiking boots. Please don’t bring glass beer bottles to the beach. And always keep a bag with you for the garbage you find at the beach, I always pick up one bag of garbage or recycling every day, that is one of my daily exercises.

ALOHA Ricardo. Many thanks for watching and giving some more good "tips" on things to consider when traveling. I guess it slightly depends on if I'm trying to travel "light" or it's a more extensive trip. I'm going to talk about going through TSA and water bottles, and you've got great ideas. A backpack and hiking boots don't generally make it into my single bag. Traveling through SE Asia, I just go really light and depend on one pair of really good sport shoes. AWESOME idea about cleaning the beach. We do that often. I like to go to Napili Bay Beach and snorkel and get all the fishing line from where the locals fish. It is always a big ball. Thanks again for the ideas. I may have to do a "sequel" and add your stuff to it. Best Aloha Wishes.

I always bring many of things you suggested (power strip, water shoes, hat). I also include duct tape and a small pair of scissors. The tape has been used to make quick clothing repairs, seal toiletry bottles for flight, hold drapes together to keep out the sun, etc. The first time I ever used it was in 1993 when Maui had a hurricane warning and we were advised to tape large x’s on the condo windows to prevent glass flying everywhere. Luckily the hurricane missed us.

I always bring my Anker 10000 Volt Battery Backup for plugging in my electronics when I am away from my Condo.
Fantastic and it works very well on an airplane if you get stuck on an icy tarmac or whatever.
In Aruba we had a loss of power but because we had our flashlights and battery backup we were in a fantastic place as eveyone else was in Panic Mode.
We always bring every size of Ziploc bags and put all of them in a 2 Gallon Bag for storage. Great for storing marinades or steaks or fruit salads, etc.
Also I bring my wine and Jose Cuevero Golden Margarita Mix with a pint of Tequila and a pint of Grande Marnier in a dedicated suitcase wrapped in bubble wrap.
Then I am having a Deluxe Margarita for $6 instead of $15 at the Marriott which taste like lemonade with no tequila..
Also, don't forget to go to Leoda's Pie Shop for sandwiches and pie and Paia Fish Market for fantastic fresh fish.

I have a video of Leoda's at Olowalu. I think it was the breakfast. Also, a video of each Paia Fish Market, the original in Paia and the one in Kihei and the one in Lahaina Town across from the Banyan Tree. We go there often. Thanks again. ALOHA Many thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Yea, a power strip, even a thin one, is a "must have" when you travel. So many uses and it consolidates everything you're charging into one spot. Consider also, a pair of scissors (checked luggage) and a roll of duct tape. I use duct tape a lot when traveling. Or even a small knife if you check luggage. I'll do a video soon, showing a power bank that is easy to charge, and can be used for cellphones. It's worth the money and it "saves" me many times. It's actually a liquor store and there's one in Emerald Plaza in Lahaina. Sushi Kho on Front Street has great sushi and, I think, several Poke items. Check their menu on-line. Hey Jimmy . Thanks for your message. How about breakfast there at KBClub at 8am on Sunday? Tomorrow>? Or Monday? Whatever works best for you. Let me know. Also -- I want to shoot a short video of you talking about a FAV place or restaurant on Maui. I want to change-up my video content a bit. You'll be perfect.

@@jimmyonguitar1 PERFECT. Much better. I'll do a whole video of KBClub and do an interview of you. What you like about Maui. FAV places to visit. FAV food places. Also, what suggestion you'd give to other coming to Maui. I want to "change-up"my video formats, and the way I've been doing them. I'll start with KBC and show the resort, our breakfast, and then ask you 3-4 questions. You're a natural. Many thanks. See you Monday. Thanks, Jimmy.

Just realized there’s probably a bunch of Beach Clubs in the Ka’anapali area. I’m at the one at Ka’anapali Shores.

Aloha Doug. Many thanks for watching and YES, bring a lot of money. Bring the kids College Fund. LOL. Send them to a community college instead. Yea, dangit. We're a bit expensive here on Maui -- In fact, you just gave me an idea. I need to do a video about how to visit Maui a little bit "less expensively" than what you might be expecting. I'll think about this. Thank for "jogging" my mind and stay tuned! Stay safe and Best Aloha Wishes.
