      Aloha Raymond. Really appreciate your comments and good to see you. I do get a bit "discouraged" often, as I put a lot of effort into the videos, only to see a few hundred viewers. I get very little "return on my time investment" so-to-speak. LOL. Your comments keep me going. Thanks again and Best Aloha Wishes for 2022, Raymond.

    Thank you SO much for this video!! I’m going to Maui in May for my honeymoon. I use a scooter & can’t walk long distances. I was so desperate to find some accessible activities & beaches. Now I know there are some!! Thank you!! ❤❤❤

      Aloha Christina. Wowszie! You're coming to Maui for your honeymoon. That's so awesome. Just off the top-of-my-head, Airport Beach is very accessible for scooters. I recommend that beach. Also, Mala Ocean Tavern would be very easy for you. As the date gets closer, send me an email and I'll put some thought into the topic, and get you a list of beaches and places to eat that would be easier than others. EX: Fleetwood's is three floors up. Not easy. Kimo's would be better. Let me know. Thanks for watching and Best Aloha Wishes.

    Aloha Steve! Thank you so much for posting this video! My wife and I are taking our 9 1/2 month old to Maui for his second time this coming Friday!! My wife and I have been to Maui multiple times but last time we went, we had a baby and the entire norm changed. This video is very helpful for us!!

      Aloha Brian. Many thanks for watching and commenting. Glad this video might give you some ideas. I'd probably go to Canoe Beach in the middle of the week. Not on the weekend. But the big grassy area at Airport Beach is certainly nice. Often, I just get tired of sitting in the sand all day. Both have really nice facilities. Good luck and have fun. Great time to come to Maui. Travel safe and Best Aloha Wishes for 2022.

      Aloha Dave & Lisa & Ashton. Wowszie! You'll be back again soon. Awesome. I've been several times to that tiny gym, and vividly once sitting, literally, under the basket for the Notre Dame game. A player flew over me once, as I was inches from the baseline. You'll love the experience. Tickets can be hard to get. So much fun meeting you and your beautiful, fun, energetic family. We'll be here. Stay tuned. Got more coming. Best To All Of You, Dave.

    great vid. but we went to kapalua beach the other day and it was impossible to get parking. either get there early or you've got to walk a bit. thx for the vid though.

    • @MauiTravelVideos
      @MauiTravelVideos  Před 2 lety +1

      Aloha GF350R. Yes, you are so right. I always get somewhere before 8am. Gotta go so darn early. Islands are, by nature, very early places. The water is the very best early in the morning. As the day progresses, more people show up and the waters are not as smooth. Just gotta take your coffee and cinnamon roll with you. LOL. I want to shoot a beach Sunday and do some underwater photograhy -- and I'll need to be at the beach by 7am. Just for parking. Those two beaches up north along Lower Hono Road are the hardest to find parking -- both Napili Beach and Kapalua Beach. Try Canoe Beach. During the week, there is no one there. Best aloha Wishes, GF. Stay Salty!

    Like always- amazing video, I am wondering.. what type of music do you and Patricia enjoy?

    • @MauiTravelVideos
      @MauiTravelVideos  Před 2 lety

      Aloha and many thanks for watching and commenting. Well, Patricia is from Thailand, so she doesn't have a big FAV for USA music. But interestingly, she enjoys Allen Jackson and C&W a bit. Each song seems to tell a "story" she can relate to in some small way. But she likes all types of music. Me? I grew up with The Who & 3 Dog Night and a host of individual performers that you just don't see today. Thanks again and hope to see you soon!

    • @MauiTravelVideos
      @MauiTravelVideos  Před 2 lety +1

      ALOHA TRAM. I responded below with suggestions for Baby Beach and the beach around the 505 Shopping Complex, which is just south of the Banyan Tree and you'll walk pass an elementary school. I have a video of Baby Beach. Search for it and it'll show you how to get there. It's easy. Thanks for coming to Maui. Travel safe. Best Aloha Wishes.

    • @MauiTravelVideos
      @MauiTravelVideos  Před 2 lety +2

      ALOHA TRAM. Cruise Ships come into two (2) different harbors on Maui. One is in Kahului near the airport on the windward side of Maui. I'm going to assume you are going to be on the West Maui side of the island. You'll go into Lahaina Town and be right at the famous Banyan Tree. See it and walk over to the Wharf Cinema Center, just across the street from the Banyan Tree. There is a small beach area just south of the Banyan Tree, literally just on the other side of the elementary school next to the tree. You can take a short walk to Baby Beach, just north of Lahaina Town. You'll walk the full length of famous Front Street and see all the shops. That walk is maybe 8-10 minutes. Not a bad walk at all. Stay on the "mountain side" of Front Street, as there is a sidewalk. You could actually see both of them, depending on your time. Best Aloha Wishes.

    Very bad review for wheelchair accessible info. No mentioned of point of entry for wheelchairs or mats.
