My wife and I made it a point to stop at (what was) The Thirsty Turtle twice when we visited in January. (We were the couple from Maine.) The mango tea was unbelievably good. Hope to have some again one of these days.

So, she was able to take care of her and her FAM for several months. I'll get her back and center on the videos and we'll have fun together shooting. Thanks for the video and for showing the tents at Haycraft Park. Your video also shows the sign that says the park is open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm but it seems people are camping overnight.

Yes, most of our parks are busy with locals on the weekends, but generally, don't camp overnite during the week. You can also see some fishing poles by the locals. Also, the less-populated with tourists is where the locals go to spend the night. There's no enforcement that I know about. Best Aloha Wishes.

So glad to see you Steve! Lahaina Lobster Roll is a great new name. There's lots to brand with a Lobster logo. Did you need to rebrand because of the mainland Thirsty Turtle? There is one about 30 minutes from where I live in New Jersey. In any case, put me down for two Chicago dogs!. Tin Roof is the spark that lit the flame for Sheldon. Everyone needs to go to Tin Roof!

We found a hard to get to spot Coral Gardens. great snorkeling , we where able to climb down to it.

Steve! SO great to see you again on CZcams with another one of your informative and fun videos! Wish we lived on Maui because if we did we'd throw Patricia a welcome home party! Have stayed at several of the rental condos near Haycraft park over the years, and in fact my very first Maui visit back in the 80's included a stay at Makani A Kai which abuts the park acreage. The walks along Sugar Beach are always fun, however let's not forget how windy the Maalaea area can be. What you could not have known is my husband and I were scheduled to fly tomorrow to Maui for a three week get-away but have cancelled our travel plans (once again) due to covid. Your return to CZcams, for us, could not have been more welcome!! Keep up the good work!

It's really nice and most everyone has no idea it even exists. Even locals. A bit secluded and YES, as you wll know, it's always windy along all of Sugar Beach. But on a calm day, no place is better. What kind of water shoes and what was the name on the ones you had in video mahalo
Aloha and thank you Tamara. The brand is CRESSI and I bought them on Amazon. Not expensive. They are a nylon-type that fits tight and I really like them. Easy to put on and then wear along the beach, and then into the water and slip your fins on. Snorkeling is so much easier. I see a lot of divers wearing them and I would have rather gotten black, but at the time, blue was the only color available. I highly recommend getting "snorkel socks" or "diving socks" or whatever they are called. Best Aloha Wishes.
