You're killing me guys you're really killing me I'm drooling all over the place there's absolutely nothing I can do about it. You have no idea how much we live vicariously through you. So thank you again
Love scallops and soba together Yumo!!!!! 150 years now I really love to go there!!!! I wish I could come now to support all them great old historical places!!!! Hope they can all survive this crazy madness times we have!!!!🙏🏼
Nihonbashi is the name of my favorite japanese cuisine restaurant here in Buenos Aires, Argentina (the only one to serve Argentine-wagyu sukiyaki and shabu-shabu). Sadly they closed permanently due to the pandemic and the owners old age, but I'm happy that I got to taste such great dishes cooked by first generation Nihonjin 😊Cheers and stay safe!
It's so strange because it really feels like I'm watching friends when I watch your videos, but you don't even know who I am!! But I'm a just a friend you don't know yet 😂💗💗
Thank you, guys, for highlighting these three special, historical restaurants and for supporting local businesses during this pandemic. As always, your reviews made me want to sample all the food. You really do tempt this long-time vegetarian! 😊 Lots of love and stay safe. ❤️
Thank you for showing us such amazing restaurants! I hope they remain when I am able to visit once this pendemic ends. Always love your videos thank you for creating them!
That's awesome that the restaurants have come together to support each other in these tough times. I love watching you guys finding the out of the way shops and foods stuff. I miss dipping Soba! So good! I have to make it myself here in the U.S. and make my own dipping soups b/c it's tough finding the authentic ingredients here. Such classic establishments are a real treat to see. Keep safe and journeying for great food stops! Tenmo tempura. I loved that hearing the oil fry up the Tempura brought back my urge to cook up some on my own in my woks!
Satoshi, I don't think I've ever seen you so excited and happy and amazed while eating as in the last restaurant, you can really tell you truly loved the food there!
Great video guys, I made sure to be eating while watching, so the food envy was not as over powering. Guess that must have blown your food budget for the month and we'll be back to konbini store food for a while. :-)
Lots of yumminess and deliciousness! The food looks so amazing, wish we can go there now and try all of the restaurants. Thank you for taking us there! Love you guys. Take care and be safe on all your travels.
So much joy in your downloads, many thanks for all the wonderful recommendations for restaurants all over Japan. The food alone will keep me in your lovely country for ages once borders are open and safe. regards from New Zealand
Love you guys! You are great and this channel is so interesting. I love learning about Japanese cuisine and culture. Thank you so much I watch all the time.
i want to go visit! that tempura looked so good. eggplant it really good when cooked correctly. my wife would love all the seafood her favorite snack is dried cuttlefish. that burger looked so good. fresh vegetables are usually juicy we're just used to the dried up ones that travel a long way to our plate. that steak oh yeah!! thank you for the adventure.
There is a wonderful Japanese restaurant (semi) near me, called Kampai. They also fry their tempura in sesame oil. It’s my favorite!! 😋 They also have a large variety of fish and veggies...it is to die for!! 😇 I say it’s semi-near me because it’s the closest Japanese restaurant to where I live and is still a 45 min drive (w/out traffic). 😱 So I don’t go as often as I’d like. It’s also difficult to get a reservation as there aren’t any other full service Japanese 🇯🇵 restaurants in the surrounding area. 😔 But they have about everything on their menu, except sushi & sashimi. 🍣 To date, it is my favorite Japanese restaurant. 💕 🍜 🍤 I’m catching up on your videos tonight as I’ve been super busy lately...so don’t be surprised if you see comments from me on all your channels this evening. 😂 Another excellent video guys! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ✌️❤️😊 EDIT: Sorry, it was just pointed out to me by the “peanut gallery” (my son 😂) that the full name of the restaurant is Kampai, Japanese Steakhouse. They have two sides to the seating area. One side for just the steakhouse and another for the full menu of Japanese items. But you can order off both menus no matter where you’re seated, so I didn’t think I had to specify. My son told me otherwise. 😂🤣
Restaurants in the U.S. are starting to charge more now. They've even gone as far as adding a covid surcharge in some places. Its amazing honestly, farmers are getting paid such a low amount for their food and the average citizen is getting boned because retailers are using the pandemic to price gouge.
As a small business owner myself, I can say the small businesses aren't price gouging. They're trying to survive. Big businesses on the other hand are typically a different story. Our economy will change forever...
Muromachi Sunaba kind of reminds me of Kagizen in Gion, Kyoto with the garden in the back. When I lived near Higashi Tamagawa, I didn’t really venture to Nihombashi very often, so it was neat to see restaurants in the area. Thanks, guys! Hugs to you both and Baby Justin! 🤗🐶 xoxo Christine in sunny Colorado. ☀️
There used to be a restaurant at Ala Moana hotel called Tsukasa. The shrimp tempura in the video reminds me of the tempura that was there. I've never had anything like it since they closed down like 10yrs ago. It was almost like a corndog, with how the inside was fluffy batter with a crunchy outside.
The way that Satochi gets so excited when he eats something new it's like you can taste it yourself it's amazing I love tempura vegetables and fish 🐟 I think that Satochi should try and copy the restaurant's and hello Shinichi 🌺 love from Arizona 🐶🐾 is it like beef toung we get in the United States ? I will never forget coming home from school and my Mom had a toung in the oven for Dinner My Father raised cattle our whole life so seeing things like toung was normal not that I liked the taste yours was very soft so I might like that one 😜
Wow! Such a decadent feast! Hope it will be safe to travel next year or in 2022. Looking forward to eating so much (again) in Japan. I'm just wondering who takes care of Justin when you are out of town or on a staycation. We love Justin!!!
Beef, ox tongue such a delicacy very tender cut of meat so under rated . These restaurants are a Japanese treasure that need to be protected. Those are the places I would want to eat at because of the history . Modern foods and restaurants from world cultures are found in most cities today ie Mexican , Italian but they are not authentic. So a collaboration between these three restaurants are ingenious . Such high end foods were produced for this video, wonderful to see . Thanks Satoshi and Shinichi what a treasured find .😎
I wish we had tempura specialty restaurants here in Virginia. We do have a place that does tempura squid. I want to learn to make kakiage. I think many restaurants will need to reinvent themselves to survive. Like the evolution of the steak house.
All these restaurants look amazing!! Such great atmosphere in the restaurants, food looks delicious. I would really try the steakhouse and the soba. Beef tongue stew, never head it, only grilled beef tongue and I love that. I love tempura as well but just a few pieces served as part of a meal; a whole tempura meal is too much for me, my body doesn't agree with that often.
You guys are so lucky living there with all the great food from all over the world. Too bad we are not going to get to go to Tokyo this December. Americans are currently prohibited from entering:(...we are like the Walking Deads...
Looks delish! too bad stuck here in Las Vegas, some good food but nothing compared to Japan quantity and quality. Thanks for showing us. Places I might walk by and never know i should go inside and not miss out on these treasures. BTW could you tell us the location again of that vending machine park. It looked hella FUN like that umaji? terrace shopping mall
That tempura place reminds me of my first and only high end tempura in Tokyo, Ten-Ichi in Ginza. Food is great but for what you get, it should be about one third the price. The other two places were much more reasonable in my opinion.
Did you were sponsored by these restaurants , guys? Noticed the high prices specially the Tancredi wine..Not that you could not have paid but way more expensive than the meals you show to us on average. Thanks for the video ! .
You're killing me guys you're really killing me I'm drooling all over the place there's absolutely nothing I can do about it. You have no idea how much we live vicariously through you. So thank you again

Satoshi's expressions are simply priceless. Thank you for taking us along, Guys ... stay safe!!

Fantastic, mouth-watering video.

You guys give me such joy
Love you guys! You are great and this channel is so interesting. I love learning about Japanese cuisine and culture. Thank you so much I watch all the time.
Nice, thank you for showcasing these establishments and their dishes.
It's lovely you two were so relaxed in such comfortable clothes whilst in fine dining restaurants. I've not seen that in my travels.
i want to go visit! that tempura looked so good. eggplant it really good when cooked correctly. my wife would love all the seafood her favorite snack is dried cuttlefish. that burger looked so good. fresh vegetables are usually juicy we're just used to the dried up ones that travel a long way to our plate. that steak oh yeah!! thank you for the adventure.
I'm soooo hungry now......the burger looked fantastic. It's......" sooooooo goood". 🤤
Thank you for this video it was wonderful to see these restaurants
I would have loved to have been with you guy's.
I too do not put sauce on my Rib Eye Steak. It's so nice by it's self. Yummy.
Everything looked delicious.
I could eat tempura shrimp all day long. Zucchini is the only veg I really like tempura’d. The parsley seemed interesting.
❤️❤️❤️wow Edo style looks amazing! Love your videos!!!!

Everything in America is going. I working in retail and it makes cringe.
It should cost less. That's not fair.
As a small business owner myself, I can say the small businesses aren't price gouging. They're trying to survive. Big businesses on the other hand are typically a different story. Our economy will change forever...
Ours aren't.

Thanks again guys for another great video!! Personally I like beef tougue, just had it at a restaurant in Naha. Take care 😗

If I wasn't so full from eating dinner, I'd be so hungry right now watching this.
Those soba noodles looked so delicate, yet firm.
気をつけてください。日本が大好き。 🇧🇷❤️🇯🇵
I've been to Tenmo, it was very good. Their speciality is soft boiled egg tempura, very difficult to pull off!
Love you guys, always look forward to your videos. Any chance you guys can review top 5 soy sauce?
I wish we had tempura specialty restaurants here in Virginia. We do have a place that does tempura squid. I want to learn to make kakiage. I think many restaurants will need to reinvent themselves to survive. Like the evolution of the steak house.

I know I do.
2 years later I still wish I could be there shadow and try all the good food....
I want that beef restaurant next to me.
Since the live video yous had recently, now im enjoying watching yous both alot more.
Love u guys frm Syd Australia!
What an amazing selection of food! Was this for an anniversary? I can't imagine having such a fancy day of food without a real special occasion 😯
You must have spent more for the one day of meals then I spend for two weeks eating at home! So lucky you can afford this and it looks delicious.
Lol they didnt spend a dime. It was paid for by their sponsor
Looks delish! too bad stuck here in Las Vegas, some good food but nothing compared to Japan quantity and quality. Thanks for showing us. Places I might walk by and never know i should go inside and not miss out on these treasures. BTW could you tell us the location again of that vending machine park. Please go back to the vending machine place and show us all the machines again including the new machines thanks
I didn't think it was possible for tongue to fall apart so easily like that!
Mexican people make tacos with that kind of tender tongue all the time
@@Janine.Najarian sounds like a dish I should try! It's tough to find good Mexican food here though.
thank you.
and I'm over here eating cool ranch doritos
🥰Dreaming to travel someday to japan🥰
We also have a restaurant in vienna which is called nihonbashi and they offer real authentic japanese food, the owner and the staff are all japanese
偉〜〜〜い👌💯💯💯

Omg..this is delicious l love Japanese food. Thank you for sharing.
so about the 8:50 mark that fish is probably white fish which is about the same as catfish i think..good stuff
That fish is called "Kisu" which is Japanese Whiting. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_whiting?wprov=sfla1
Did you were sponsored by these restaurants , guys? Noticed the high prices specially the Tancredi wine..Not that you could not have paid but way more expensive than the meals you show to us on average. Thanks for the video !

I believe the sponsor is actually the Tourism Board and not the restaurants if I remember correctly.

o men why r u doing this to me :'(
😍😍😍😍
How did you manage to eat so much in just one day?
♥
I saw you considering HELSINKI!? Are you finally coming to FINLAND?! You can stay at my place :D !

I love eating out at Nihonbashi, I was in Taimeiken too 🤗 saw it on Shinichi’s ig
But I wanted to see the sauces :
Do you give tip to the server in Japan ? By the way I would like to go to this rest 😃
No you don't have to tip in Japan. The server will give you the money back.
Tipping is not a common practice in Japan. Service is factored into the prices.
I checked google maps & seitow is permanently closed?
Ahhh one of their shops have closed. They have two more that are open
I would love to visit Japan and wish to meet and have you both as my tour pros. How can I have your contact? Thank you!
