Resurrection Band live at Warehouse Ministries, 1-30-83

  • I had uploaded an earlier version of this, which was missing the last 13 minutes due to a glitch. (see • Resurrection Band-Live... )
Took forever to correct, so now it has. Since the first version already has over 450 views, I just decided to upload the full one and direct people from there to this one. That should eventually die out. It's still too bad we don't have the second part of the set but the quality and sound is very good and happy we have this much.
Despite what one person said on the previous one, I can only go with the date on the box, by the film maker, which is 1.30.83.
Share and enjoy-that's my intention with any of my archives. I can't take it with me and there's no point in sitting on it (though I've literally had this in a box for over 20 years). Finally getting some of this out there.

I was at this concert, it wasnt their first at warehouse ministries. Glenn took me out to dinner at Dennys in Sacramento, we talked n shared Faith. I was born from above in 1977. I toured with Michael The Archangel Band. We went to Europe Netherlands. I went back to europe again in 1981, i brought my Rez band lp's, the first 3, this time i was all over europe, and when i was in Spain a younger than me, i was 20, young man from La Paz came up to me and asked me if i ever heard of Rez band?? Im thinking are you kidding me? I said, hey man come over here i want to show you something, i opened my suitcase to reveal the 3 Rez band Lp's. The kid was amazed. Later that year i was in Germany with the YFC group Oasis, and i saw in the foyer of a music hall, Christian lp's there, and there was Rez band lp's there..wow.. so i wrote Glenn a letter to tell him what i saw, he asked me about other bands that were like Rez, and i said well theres a band from Sweden that rocks named Jerusalem.. later that year i was in Sweden and met the guys in Jerusalem!! They asked me to come tour with them in Germany. So i wrote Glenn another letter, to tell him this, and to kind of introduce Glenn n Ulf Christiansson together...soon they contacted each other and set up USA tour's together...the rest is history..yes i did that, you can thank me and the Lord for bringing Rez n Jerusalem together... these are the only 2 Christian rock bands that i listen to..for obvious reasons..

I was probably at this concert. Rededicated my life to Jesus in early 1977 at Leon Patillo's first concert at Warehouse. He was still in Santana at that time. So grateful for Warehouse Ministries❣️ Thank you so much for being so faithful to teach and show the love of God for so many years. May God continue to bless this ministry...

I rededicated my life in my parent's summer home on Lake Benedict-Twin Lakes, Wisconsin in 1977 too. I put my face to the filthy rug and asked Jesus to deliver me from alcohol and pot, and from not surrendering my whole life to Him. I found my 1963 RSV Bible given to me by the Norwood Park Presbyterian Church in Chicago.and started reading it again. As I did when I was 9 years old. I've been living for the Lord full time ever since 1977. Praise God for all the people who were prodigal sons and daughters and picked up their cross and follow Jesus.

10:55 Just before continuing to listen to this concert, I txtd a friend of mine the verse from John 15 where Jesus calls us His friends and says there is no greater love than when a man lays down his life for his friend. I said, "that's amazing to me" and then, I hit Play again and Wendy says His love is "amazing" and begin to play the song, "Amazing" :0 Coincidence? I don't think so. There are no coincidences in the kingdom of God

I lived at JPUSA for a bit. I think Glen Kaiser would listen to a little bit of secular music here and there to get an idea of what non-Christians were listening to. I asked him point blank if "City Streets" was meant to sound like AC/DC because that's the song I found them on. He said that once he realized he had a similar sound to Bon Scott, he wanted to call an Album Highway to Heaven. He said he was glad in retrospect as that became the title of a TV show. But then Micheal Landon was a believer which is why he did such wholesome shows as Highway/T/H and Little House/O/T/P.

    A few observations:
1.Wendi is happy like a young child when on stage! I love it! That´s what I noticed at probably every concert of them I´ve seen.
    2. (26.51) Why does the guitar only have two necks?
3.(31.47) He promised to be right back. That was 38 years ago.
(the last two are of course jokingly said)

Posting this from Warehouse is anazing..they must have a large collection of videotaped concerts...Maria muldaur phillip bailey etc. And i also brought Jerusalem to Sacramento to play at Warehouse ministries...yes i did that.. is it possible to post a copy of the Jerusalem concert at Warehouse Ministries? Please....i must see that again. I was going to call the Warehouse but everytime i do no one wants to help me out, to ask if they have posted all their concerts archives yet?? Yes No??

It’s to bad that so called Christian bands don’t minister between songs like this anymore they just want to get louder and rock out and play rock star if your not going to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ you might well just be another cover band there is no difference.

The blame for that goes to more than the bands. The blame also goes to the management, the recording companies and many of their fans for loving a shallow gospel.

When's the last time u played a concert? I'm guessing never. Just relax bro, and dont make a judgment like that. U actually judged bands that dont do what u want them to do. That's NOT a good, sound judgment

Glenn looks like he dresses himself from donated clothing or from the Lost and Found or from Goodwill. He seems fashionably challenged. Nobody in Rez dressed as bad as Glenn. I guess when you spend your time writing good song lyrics and playing guitar parts, I guess you can have your blindspots. He surely didn't hide his bulk, or his hairy shoulders. There are also much worse outfits that I have seen than this one. There's that jean vest and the flat hat he wears. The man's fashion sense is SO BAD to where me, a guy with no fashion sense is making a case about it.
