Drugstore prices are creeping up to high end it’s getting ridiculous but I’m so thankful we always can trust your lower cost recommendations! They always are just as good thank you Em!❤️
Drugstore prices are shooting themselves in the foot. Cover Girl foundation - the one with the beads, came out at $21+, the sales were dismal. They reduced the price to $12+, and it seems to be selling now. The same thing is going to happen with Revlon- they have to adjust prices to reality. And on the opposite side, HE makeup has gone beserk. Chanel blushes are $95, everybody thought that the rush in makeup (lipstick indicator) would yield millions. That ain’t happening. There will be an obligatory correction- or a lot of disappearing companies 🤓
I definitely wanna see organizational methods for makeup, skincare, anything in the household since organization and space is an issue for so many of us. It’s easy to forget about makeup and skincare when we aren’t organized then have to toss it because it expired, so anything you can offer us I think would be very helpful!

I use a clear storage shoe organizer on my doors.
If a drugstore skin tint is $18.99, I’ll just mix foundation I already have with moisturizer or something. And how fun for Belle! Along with “land sakes” try, “oh forever more!”😂

I absolutely love that you (and another of my fav beauty CZcamsrs @SteffsBeautyStash) compare all skin tints to the Wet N Wild! I have saved a lot of money because the Wet N Wild is a staple for me! I hope Wet N Wild sees all the love their tinted hydrator gets and expands the shade range so even more people can fall in love.💗

I love historical recreation for kids. We did that when I was a kid, (30 years ago!) and I remember my mom packed me the cutest lunch. She didn't use any plastic or anything. She packed a basket, with jars and little fabric satchels, it was the sweetest!

They are so amazing and I remember them as a big part of my childhood reading them over and over again. We also watched the series as it aired in primetime when I was a kid. Drugstore makeup prices have gone through the roof and I have stopped buying makeup as a result. I now only buy to replace what I use up. No more buying new stuff to experiment with for fun.

I’ve been looking everywhere for that PF bronzing drops after seeing how beautiful and natural it is on you and I finally found it, and it is a dupe for the Kat Von D gel bronzing drops imo. A lot of them aren’t natural colors or don’t blend out w such ease. Highly recommend and thank you for recommending it! I’d of skipped it had I not seen you use it, and I do love it over even high end brands.

Omg YES Emily! Brow products can TOTALLY oxidize! Esp w/oily skin, skin care serums, primers or setting sprays. Mine used to turn greenish whenever I had a sweaty day w/oil breakthrough.

It gives a sort of extra "validation " if you will .(Or possibly even make us question our own opinions on it😆) That Mililani mascara & previous Rimmel eyeshadow pallet is what recently made me feel like this. Because in Em we trust !😁💜
The tropical Skittles drink mixes are the BEST! Mix the mango tangelo and kiwi lime together in 40 oz of water- tastes just like rainbow sherbet!! 😋
That has been my favorite mascara for several months, I love it, it doesn’t flake, removes easily with soap and water 👍❤️

So excited for Belle, that experience sounds like so much fun. Heck, I’d like to do it! 😂 Drugstore prices are getting ridiculous, makes me appreciate the lower cost brands even more. But I actually love that Revlon serum foundation, pulled me away from my powder foundation that I’ve used for 10 or more years. I do wish it were a tiny bit thinner, sometimes I mix it with my primer. I have one of the blushes and find it just ok. Love the bronze look! 😘

Hi, Emily! Please show your new organization technique with the bright drawers. Also, I have to agree that some drugstore items on the market are very overpriced here lately. It can be difficult to know what is worth the money sometimes, so I love watching your channel to learn what you think is a decent product.
The one thing I think when I see cosmetic prices skyrocketing these past few years is this:
How much has this company profited and how much money do the CEO and shareholders make, salary-wise, compared to how much the average worker in their factories make? I'm sure the difference is staggering. Corporate profits are at an all-time high, yet standards of living for the average person are at an all-time low. And what the general public has been told is "inflation" is merely corporate greed. And it's happening in all industries.
It does give me pause when I purchase anything these days, whether it's something a person actually needs to survive, such as food and rent/mortgage, or something that merely contributes to happiness and mental health.

Shop MissA has some beautiful liquid blushes. So far I haven’t tested out their glowy drop foundation yet; but I really like their regular drop foundation (shades are hard, especially if you’re cool toned like me) but the blushes are very pretty. You may be able to find a dupe. I got the PR package as well and I was quite shocked with the prices! The skin tint is nice but that price.😳 The blushes will last for a very long time. But again…the prices! Goodness!

I love these videos - fresh looks with established, affordable products! I recently tried out the Supercharged Mascara from LA Girl. Whoa! I swear it gives me the longest, fluffiest lashes of everything I've ever tried, and it's 6 bucks!
In Europe the drugstore has been that expensive for a number of years now so I'm not shocked by that, maybelline/loreal/revlon and any brand that isn't essence, wet n wild or catrice is all over €10 for everything - the Loreal serum is €25!

You asked what I think about drug store prices....I refuse to pay more than $14 for any skin tint/foundation! What are these companies thinking? If I wanted to pay $20 for a foundation, I'd go ahead and get a higher end one! I'm very disappointed in the rising prices some companies are charging.
