Just wanted to say thanks for all the uplifting words of support - I posted on my instagram story yesterday about my dad having his first chemo session to fully kick lymphoma (it returned, but no more severe than the first time, fortunately)... chemo is tough on the body but we're glad he's in such good physical condition right now- definitely up for the challenge and has a great mindset to match. That LA colors brow pencil was my best find this year from Dollar Tree. It’s firm enough that I don’t have to constantly sharpen it even though it’s a wood pencil and lasts a long time on the brows. Medium is the perfect color for me. Glad you’re rediscovering this. I’m a fan 😊

I finally broke down and purchased one of the L'Oreal Infallible blushes. I got Legendary Berry, which is the darkest I saw. I love it. But it is SUPER pigmented. I think of Emily every time I use it. Oh, and you'd be proud of me. I've recently used two blushes layered.

I just trashed a pumpkin bucket's worth of makeup that had expired, or I just wasn't going to wear it, and neither was my mom.

Em, you touched on why I don’t like pumps on my foundation, they ALWAYS break on me!! I prefer the old fashioned glass bottle. I never worry about cross contamination of my product because I am the only one using it.

Could you do an 'ulta on a tight budget' video? I'm in need of a foundation, a powdered bronzer, an eyeliner and iffff possible, a powder. My wet and wild powder isn't working as well these days but I do have one so that one can wait if needed.
But I truly can't spend over $50 😬
I would love to see what you would recommend before I buy because I hate having to go back and return if they just don't work. (And of course my super cheap 7.99 foundation is discontinued)

Your comments throughout were hilarious Em. The NYX utter applicator, too much work 😅. The Cover Fx blush is so pretty but if you have a few in that shade I agree it's gotta go. The Tarte palette is soooooo pretty, but why so big, if it were a 9 or 12 pan would be better maybe? Because some of those shades were repetitive but some are gorgeous! I love this type of video and I'm so proud of you for being ruthless!! Some of the most valuable lessons in your videos are when product application goes askew somehow and you show us how to course correct. I would have quickly taken makeup remover to that eyeliner stamp, but you made it work!

Anytime I watch a video with an RMS product being used, it's always beautiful, but haven't seen a full face. I'm intrigued!!
I always gravitate to Lancôme products, especially mascaras. They're my favorite, especially the Hypnose. The Idole is good, but not my favorite.
They have good deals on holiday sets, and I always try to get some with a sale, especially if the primer is included. For me, that's the best lash primer and makes other mascaras apply better.

I'm not a big fan of the curved brush. I have semi-decent lashes, and it did nothing for me. Thankfully it was an Ulta GWP, so I didn't pay anything extra for it. I also received an Ulta mascara and some other Ulta brand goodies with another purchase recently, and my daughter is really impressed with the mascara that I gave her.
I love a good declutter! I don't keep a huge collection, but sometimes it just feels nice to get rid of one or two items that no longer inspire me. I often feel lighter if I successfully parted with an item or two. It also feels nice to actually use up a product. I am very close to finishing both my Wet N Wild Photo Focus Matte foundation and my Wet N Wild Photo Focus Loose Powder.
Oh I can’t wait to see the Trunk or Treat pics!!!
