@@damarisrodriguez5118 It has to do with eye shape. I have deep set eyes and could never wear my shadow like she does. Once you figure out your eye shape just follow that eyeshadow design for that eye.

I had a very short aunt. I remember her saying every woman needs a good seamstress. All those models have the dresses fitted for them. You probably need a good tailor. My aunt had bought this full length (made in USA) wool coat MANY years ago at this one dept store. It’s gorgeous!! This lovely cream/yellowish color. She never got around to having it tailored. I tried it on and it was perfect. I can’t even tell you how old it is. Maybe 30 years now. I still wear it and I get stopped all the time on how gorgeous it is. You can have those dresses but probably need a nip and tuck here and there. Have a great school year!!!

We really do have to stop for a few minutes a day and realize how fortunate we are to have our loved ones in our lives. I think about this often, especially since both my parents have passed on. What I wouldn't give to have just a few moments with them again. So I try to stop and appreciate being with friends and family more. Thanks for making me think girl!

One topic, one person, just more than 3 min can do. 3 min can be fine too, but I prefer to have longer videos to hold my attention. I don't always watch a video as soon as I see the notification though... 🤔 If I'm busy, sometimes it will take 2 days even, but it stays in my mind and I will watch every single video you post, at somepoint! Regardless of the topic or content, I just don't always watch it when you post it. Sometimes I'll let three collect and then come in and watch all three back to back. Yes Emily!!! Last Spring 3:32 my youngest son moved away to college and it hit me so very hard. Then I realized we live in seasons. Life is full of seasons. It taught me to appreciate everyday but know that it is just a temporary time that will fade into a new season. Thank God He is a God of new seasons!!!

As the daughter of a tailor & seamstress, who is has styled many friends & co-workers: here's my tip on the "bohemian" style flowy dress. Choose 1 with top third slimmer fit, with sleeves not too voluminous. But not too tight. The bottom 2/3 can handle some volume. No longer than ankle length or you'll look stuck in a hole 😂. Hi Em! This is such a classy look. When you wear red lipstick it walks in the room first if you know what I mean! I love a subtle bronzy eye with red lipstick. Red gives me confidence. I think a lot of ladies are afraid of it. I recently purchased the Revlon Color Stay by lip liner in red paired with my red vinyl lip color in Wicked and it was fab! I just recently repurchased the eggshell pallet to take with me on vacation to the beach. I've used it on and off forever. I used it the other day for the first time in God knows how long and absolutely LOVED it. It was better than I remember and it looked so good on. Lately I've been using a more warm color palette. I didn't realize how badly I was needing a change and something so effortless.
I love blush too! I always laugh when I’m watching another YTber put on blush and then get uptight because they think they have “clown cheeks “. I’m thinking, “Emily would still need to layer up a bit more!” 😂I love that you love blush as much as I do. ❤

Breadwinner is a great red shade. I put it on the other day, as I just bought it, and my mom commented on how pretty a shade it is. The finish of those Revlon lipsticks aren't bad as far as a matte goes. It's not that drying, your lips peeling, kind of matte and Emily, you are right. They wear so well! Beautiful look as usual, Emily. I bought the Revlon Illuminance not long after you first used it and have loved it ever since. I have mature, dry skin and this looks beautiful, plus stays on all day. I live in hot and humid south Florida for reference, and it lasts despite the weather. Summer for us means not only hot temps, but daily rain, sometimes heavy downpour that you can't see the car in front of you! Last evening it was raining harder than usual, plus heavy thunder and lightning for over an hour. I'm glad I wasn't out driving! I'm 5'5" and I sometimes have to order petite sizing in pants. I'm sure that would still be too long for anyone shorter than me. I definitely use the services of a seamstress and have things shortened as needed, even shirts with too long straps, or gaping waist, arm holes that are too large and bra showing. It's a little extra cost, but worth it to look a bit more polished and put together. Maybe go on a Google search for petite sizes. Most stores carry petite options online. It might be a bit time consuming, but I'm sure there's a site that will have a better fit for you. I just rediscovered Loft recently and love how their sizing fits me (especially the curvy option in pants). I ordered a few things and have been pleasantly pleased. Hope you find your flowy dress.❤
I love how you are sharing recipes that are fairly simple and quick or make enough to have leftovers. Jeffery works until midnight Monday through Friday, so our meal of the day is lunch. I am going to try both the burrito from the other day, although I will cut the recipe in half and I am really looking forward to the chicken fajita casserole. Thank you so much for sharing. I have made your egg salad numerous times and even sent it to my son in New York ( I am a transplanted New Yorker). I have also, started making your Adult lunchables. They are perfect for me because I am not a big meat eater. I like to add fresh sliced cucumber and red grapes to mine, along with wheat thins or some sort of nuts, cheese sticks and ham or turkey.One day I went wild and wrapped my two cheese sticks in hard salami, yummy! On the dresses : flowy wrapdresses with V-necks or skaterdresses (narrow top, A-line or fuller skirt, but short). Simple shirt style dresses can be really beautiful too, depending on the fabric. I'm 5'3 and fun sized so easily look frumpy.

A wrap dress would be great. One with a v neck elongates the neck and won't make the chest area look too big, and it's slightly more fitted without being too tight
I love hearing about playing with your kids! I’m about your height. I’ve found that an A-line wrap dress works for me. I need a defined waist for shape. And a knee length or high-low doesn’t overwhelm me.

Both come sleeveless or with flutter sleeves typically. These work for both spring/summer and fall/winter as you can pair them with sandals or boots. You can pair with denim jacket or flannels for fall and winter. They are very figure forgiving and generally cinch up in all the right places. They come in every length possible. They also never go out of style. My humble opinion only. You should wear what makes you feel good, not what is trending for 5 minutes.
School starts on Monday for us, but our band student has just finished 2 weeks of band camp. Most band camp days are 9 am to 9 pm. We go through a lot of sunscreen!

If you want to be respected as a freshman, don't complain. Everybody is out the same hot sun as you are, and if you complain about it, the upperclassmen will roll their eyes and think you're just not band material! He never complained, did everything he was asked to do, and he is absolutely adored being in the band ever since! Good life lesson!

Yes Emily!!! Last Spring 3:32 my youngest son moved away to college and it hit me so very hard. Then I realized we live in seasons. Life is full of seasons. It taught me to appreciate everyday but know that it is just a temporary time that will fade into a new season. Thank God He is a God of new seasons!!!

As the daughter of a tailor & seamstress, who is has styled many friends & co-workers: here's my tip on the "bohemian" style flowy dress. Choose 1 with top third slimmer fit, with sleeves not too voluminous. But not too tight. The bottom 2/3 can handle some volume. No longer than ankle length or you'll look stuck in a hole 😂.
Sincerely, ask for tips anytime. This is my 1 talent.

Back to school huh... 😒 Thank God my son is 25! 😂 Unfortunately, my grandson is 4!!! 😳🥹 I feel like my son just graduated High Schhol a min ago and here we are talking about kindergarten readiness for his son!! 😂 Being "Grandma" is SO much cooler than being "mom" though! I can sit back and relax and enjoy it as a grandma, where when I was mom, I was so stressed out and stretched thin, that I just tried to hang on and make it to the end in one peice! 😂 My son is an amazing man though, so I must have done a goid job as his mom, in a big picture sense. He is a US Marine, going into his 3rd enlistment soon! Winning awards and getting recognition every step of the way! I couldn't be more proud if him and of my grandson.

Hi Em! This is such a classy look. When you wear red lipstick it walks in the room first if you know what I mean! I love a subtle bronzy eye with red lipstick. Red gives me confidence. I think a lot of ladies are afraid of it. I recently purchased the Revlon Color Stay by lip liner in red paired with my red vinyl lip color in Wicked and it was fab! Lasted until I got ready to take my makeup off.

I just recently repurchased the eggshell pallet to take with me on vacation to the beach. I've used it on and off forever. I used it the other day for the first time in God knows how long and absolutely LOVED it. It was better than I remember and it looked so good on. Lately I've been using a more warm color palette. I didn't realize how badly I was needing a change and something so effortless.

Breadwinner is a great red shade. I put it on the other day, as I just bought it, and my mom commented on how pretty a shade it is. The finish of those Revlon lipsticks aren't bad as far as a matte goes. It's not that drying, your lips peeling, kind of matte and Emily, you are right. They wear so well! Beautiful look as usual, Emily. I bought the Revlon Illuminance not long after you first used it and have loved it ever since. I have mature, dry skin and this looks beautiful, plus stays on all day. I live in hot and humid south Florida for reference, and it lasts despite the weather.
Summer for us means not only hot temps, but daily rain, sometimes heavy downpour that you can't see the car in front of you!
Last evening it was raining harder than usual, plus heavy thunder and lightning for over an hour. I'm glad I wasn't out driving!
I'm 5'5" and I sometimes have to order petite sizing in pants. I'm sure that would still be too long for anyone shorter than me. I definitely use the services of a seamstress and have things shortened as needed, even shirts with too long straps, or gaping waist, arm holes that are too large and bra showing. It's a little extra cost, but worth it to look a bit more polished and put together.
Maybe go on a Google search for petite sizes. Most stores carry petite options online. It might be a bit time consuming, but I'm sure there's a site that will have a better fit for you.
I just rediscovered Loft recently and love how their sizing fits me (especially the curvy option in pants). I ordered a few things and have been pleasantly pleased.

I love how you are sharing recipes that are fairly simple and quick or make enough to have leftovers. Jeffery works until midnight Monday through Friday, so our meal of the day is lunch.
I am going to try both the burrito from the other day, although I will cut the recipe in half and I am really looking forward to the chicken fajita casserole. Thank you so much for sharing. I have made your egg salad numerous times and even sent it to my son in New York ( I am a transplanted New Yorker). I have also, started making your Adult lunchables. They are perfect for me because I am not a big meat eater. I like to add fresh sliced cucumber and red grapes to mine, along with wheat thins or some sort of nuts, cheese sticks and ham or turkey.One day I went wild and wrapped my two cheese sticks in hard salami, yummy!

On the dresses : flowy wrapdresses with V-necks or skaterdresses (narrow top, A-line or fuller skirt, but short). Simple shirt style dresses can be really beautiful too, depending on the fabric. I'm 5'3 and fun sized so easily look frumpy.

I have to say that I love the Revlon Illuminance foundation. I have been wearing it all summer and I am very impressed with it's staying power for a light/medium foundation. I have dry, mature skin with visible pores and it blurs everything and gives me such a smooth, luminous look. Thanks for a great start to my Saturday. ❤️

A wrap dress would be great. One with a v neck elongates the neck and won't make the chest area look too big, and it's slightly more fitted without being too tight
There are some really great dresses on Amazon you might like! They’re very flattering - I often wear them when I’m teaching.
I love hearing about playing with your kids! I’m about your height. I’ve found that an A-line wrap dress works for me. I need a defined waist for shape. And a knee length or high-low doesn’t overwhelm me.

I've made several recipes you've talked about throughout the years. My favorite still is the baked chicken parmesan with the chicken patties. Also, I can't believe the girls are already going back to school next week! The kiddos here don't start till after labor day, but they go through till mid June for school. I love your videos. Look forward to every single one. Thank you for having wonderful content. In reference to your dress comments, I always choose wrap dresses, or smocked dress. Both come sleeveless or with flutter sleeves typically. These work for both spring/summer and fall/winter as you can pair them with sandals or boots. You can pair with denim jacket or flannels for fall and winter. They are very figure forgiving and generally cinch up in all the right places. They come in every length possible. They also never go out of style. My humble opinion only. You should wear what makes you feel good, not what is trending for 5 minutes.

School starts on Monday for us, but our band student has just finished 2 weeks of band camp. Most band camp days are 9 am to 9 pm. We go through a lot of sunscreen!

@@emilynoel83He's a sophomore, and he plays the alto saxophone. He received a good piece of advice from his private lesson teacher at the beginning of freshman year. If you want to be respected as a freshman, don't complain. Everybody is out the same hot sun as you are, and if you complain about it, the upperclassmen will roll their eyes and think you're just not band material! He never complained, did everything he was asked to do, and he is absolutely adored being in the band ever since! Good life lesson!
@CindyFavorites My girl made section leader this year, so she had 2 extra days teaching freshmen. How big is your school since they stayed until 9pm? I thought ours was a lot at 8-5 every day.

Congratulations to your daughter for making section leader! That's awesome! Our band went to Grand Nationals in Indy last year. Does your school participate in competitions?
