I’m probably an anomaly but I still come to CZcams for most of my viewing. I like seeing in depth GRWM’s and reviews and I feel like the format of TikTok doesn’t allow that. Plus I enjoy the “chatty” nature of YT, like hearing what’s happening at cheer practice or on Bold and the Beautiful. I also enjoy shop my stash videos, revisiting past favorites instead of the focus on buying new stuff all the time. ❤

I follow a handful of people, and you are one of the only channels I will watch every video posted!

Quite honestly, your channel is my favorite of all the makeup channels I've ever watched. I go to your channel specifically for the longer, "sit down and have a cup of coffee and get ready with me" vibe and content. I watch this either early in the morning or right before bedtime as a fun, relaxing way to get your take on new and old products, and to see what the finished product looks like after application. I've followed your channel for 2 years now, and while many of the other channels I watch are specifically for the 50+ crowd (I'm 53), I think what I enjoy most about your channel is that it feels like I'm hanging out with a friend and chitchatting about makeup. This makeup looks GORGEOUS on you!!! I love all your content. I often think it would be helpful to see a video of “product matches made in heaven” where you pair specific eyeshadow palettes with specific blush colors, etc that would compliment them. I have a hard time pairing color stories together on my face so that the total look makes sense😂

I, too, prefer long form content that is upbeat, relaxing and relatable. My favorites are collection type videos (with a few swatches) such as rankings, comparisons, reviews, or declutters of categories like palettes, one-and-done singles, blushes, bronzers, lip categories, etc. Anything that shows your wonderful collection (new and old products) and reminds me to dig back out my same (or similar) products! You've created a beautiful look here. I LOVE grey eyeshadows on brown eyes, especially the warmer greys, with a warm brown in the crease to pop the brown iris. Then a coral lip and cheek!

I may be old school but I’m not a fan of tiktok. I follow a small group of people on CZcams and I watch during nap time or while I run. Social media can be time consuming, sometimes a little annoying, and even depressing so I try not to spend a lot of time on it. However, my notifications for your channel are on and I get excited when they pop up on my phone because I know soon I’ll be watching an Emily video. I come to You Tube for longer content. When I want to get lost in one video, for a while. One topic, one person, just more than 3 min can do. 3 min can be fine too, but I prefer to have longer videos to hold my attention. I don't always watch a video as soon as I see the notification though... 🤔 If I'm busy, sometimes it will take 2 days even, but it stays in my mind and I will watch every single video you post, at somepoint! Regardless of the topic or content, I just don't always watch it when you post it. Sometimes I'll let three collect and then come in and watch all three back to back. Because it extends how long I can watch you. Hope that makes sense? 🤷🏼♀️ I love your content because YOU love your content! I haven't gotten into Tik Tok at all and don't really like YT "shorts" either, but I'm an older viewer so not into the latest social media trends. I started watching you and other You Tube beauty creators from the early days, like 2009-ish, and that's where my heart still is. I come mostly for detailed reviews. Will watch "get ready" videos but not my absolute favorite. I still just love watching reviews the most! Short Tik Tok-style videos are SO short that they end almost before they start.

I consistently come to CZcams to watch YOU, Emily! I watch every single video you upload, and that's all I need for my makeup fix. I don't do Instagram, Tiktok or Facebook. I always prefer a get ready with me video while I am doing my own makeup. I also enjoy the part of my day where I can slow down and just enjoy the makeup process. Maybe it’s nostalgia from getting ready in our dorm room with all of my college roommates. We enjoyed trying each other’s makeup and just talking about what we like. You are always top on my feed and subscription list! ❤
I come to CZcams for GRWM content. It’s enjoyable to watch . For you, I love when you apply makeup. Your are the literal best at reviews. I would never watch short form content for a review.

I got the BB enriched eye base during an Ulta sale, and I agree, I haven't noticed a transformative difference in my undereyes. Nothing that my regular moisturizer can't do. Have you noticed any change in your lashes since using The Ordinary's eyelash serum? I think it takes longer to have an effect than Grandelash, but it did lengthen my lashes and for the price, I'll take it!

I come to CZcams for the more in depth reviews, and I come to you bc you're one of the few that's down to earth, keeps affordability in mind and isn't afraid to use color in your eyeshadow lol. My only request is if you get a purple blush, swatch and let us see. I'm a pale redhead so most blush doesn't look good on me

I’m completely emersed in TikTok, I come back here when I want a change. There’s 3 creators I come back to watch maybe monthly and you’re one of them. I follow you on TT as well. I just think that fast content has captured most folks. 😊
I think I usually come to CZcams for certain people instead of specific content. I like long-form content and prefer it for when I’m having downtime at home. But I know I always have certain times of every week for “my Emily videos” and make sure to tune in!
