I must say, I love that you gentlemen have a vast knowledge of films, but have a love of genre films. As a horror fan must respect my friends
I absolutely love how much you both ended up hating this movie and I feel the need to watch this now so I can say "Oh goodness this is that silly mask they were talking about!" Totally loved the pictures throught the video too, that tarp dress made me laugh! Final thought, Nick's eyes threw me off on this video, is this lighting different or am I crazy? Can't wait for more reviews!
The lighting was different, which effected the green screen.
I noticed Nick's eyes also. They were beautiful - almost gold.
I love Nick's face when Joseph went from the mask discussion to the end of the film with no segue. I laughed out loud.

Joseph, you are always incredibly handsome, and Nick's eyes are stunning in this video! As always, love your review. I couldn't even finish this film so I watched this just to find out what happened without having to put myself through it!!
I thought I remembered there being three Acts. Also, I don't think she had access to the phone after he attacked her. I remember he smashed the phone and threw it under some garbage.

In the opening auction the auctioneer said, “Be on your best behavior, gentlemen.” So I thought Bruce was being haunted by the statue for murdering women in front of it. I feel like I need to learn more about the mythology to fully understand all the imagery, but it was effectively creepy. Never go out into the middle of nowhere without a Glock. Clearly, I watch too many horror movies.

Good first half but falls apart in 2nd half becoming a visceral descent into madness.

Wow -- Act Two of this film is... AWFUL. I eventually ended up watching multiple scenes of this film in #x times speed just to hasten the ending. A generous 4/10!
