the thing with these kinds of advice re: avoiding muscle loss is that if you aren't about to stand up on bodybuilding stage right after your cut, it doesn't really matter if you lose some muscle because you got muscle memory. You'll gain it back real quick.
I agree with the first point but the second point, in my opinion, does not exactly correlate to muscle loss, from watching many people online they have said at the end of a cut they can lift for most approx 2/3 of their starting. The reason for this could be a decrease in calories leading to a decrease in macronutrients such as carbs to fuel a workout to match those lifts. Great video tho
For me , other than for looks and being overall more healthy and fit i prefer bulking to get stronger but i know i cant keep doing that forever so I’m starting my first days of cutting so thx for the tips
When I started working out, my two main mistakes were lack of sleep and not eating enough (not being in a caloric surplus). I always thought I was eating enough and was disappointed because my weight stagnated. Then I got my first diet plan created (I think it was from Next Level Diet). I realised that my previous food intake was way below my needs, although I thought I'm good. At the beginning it was hard to eat 3200 kcal in a day, but I got used to it. I started noticing real gains and it felt amazing. I wish I'd understood the importance of diet earlier.
It's probably not just me, but I'll drop the weight to focus on my form more rather than keep the same weight and struggle to lift it with terrible form. Plus I'll feel the burn a lot more
Best thing to do is just lift heavy, burn more calories throughout the weeks from it and keeps your strength was a game changer for me. No high frequency
I'm 70kg and trying to lose fat but I have a lower back injury and can't work out too hard. I eat above 2g of protein per kg of bodyweight. Aroundm 2.8-3g probably. Can I still keep my muscles that way or will I lose too much?
Went off diet due to currency situation, lost a shit Ton of muscle, recently went shopping tho and got a bunch of ground beef and frozen fish from sams club
Pls reply : should i confuse muscle by switching workout every week of each muscle group? Like wise i m doing latspull down Sunday and Wednesday should i repeat same workout exercises??
Its weird. Been out of the gym for a week, not dieting right. Not even enough protien intake. Been back for a few days, and i have better form and more reps and or weight,
But it also Depends on how high your body fat is, if you cut on a higher calorie decifit you can loose about 2 % of body weight per week, without getting weaker in the gym, or am i Wrong?
It's recommended to up protein intake a little during a cut and you're gonna need less while bulking. But you don't need supraphysiological amounts either way. Try to aim for about 1.8g/kg during a cut and 1.5g/kg when you're bulking.
I know this is kind of hard to swallow but in reality, you shouldn’t lose any muscle or not a lot of muscle when cutting. You think you are losing a lot of muscle because you thought you had more muscle and less fat to begin with. But it’s the opposite, you had more fat and less muscle initially.
Yeah usually people lose intramuscular fat and assume they're losing lean mass. Losing muscle and losing strength are very different, and frankly losing strength is unavoidable if you're trying to lose fat. Fortunately it's only temporary and has more to do with energy and glycogen than actual contractile tissue.
If I’m losing a pound a day, but I’m maintaining my strength or even getting stronger, Am I still losing weight?(I know this is a very hard question to answer correctly). Also, I’m a teenager, will cutting impact my height negatively? Thanks Edit: I’m 5’11 and 157.8 lbs
dam bro idk if you should be cutting cuz u 5'11 and 157.8, thats pretty low weight for being 5'11. I would just stay where u are at or even a slight bulk and just be consistent in the gym.

That’s a fair point but if you’re already suffering through a diet to get lean, why not do what you can to hold on to as much muscle as possible
i love this video bro short and simple!
Back to the gym after 2 weeks of food poisoning, down 6kg but hopefully haven’t lost too much strength 🙏
God bless
Eat like a horse and it will be bk in no time
Ive been through this
damn bro what did it

Exactly. Less carbs means less power
Also mass moves mass so on heavy compounds u will drop ofc
@@0BluePrototype0 No replacement for displacement.
I agree, you’ll def have some trouble matching the same intensity throughout the cut but you wanna try your best not to purposely reduce intensity
Strength should not drop drastically on deficit, endurance should. Ie, 5x10 @50lbs -> 3x10 @50lbs
Thanks buddy
Can u make a video about how to increase leg gains.

this shit came out in the right moment bc i just started cutting lol
Cut phase is the hardest
I’ve gotten stronger on some lifts while cutting and some movements have stalled

Disagree on high frequency. Depends on volume

even if you lose muscle you will still have muscle memory so getting back is easy
Yeah but prevention is key bro
What's your Height and Weight man? Regardless - GREAT Physique bro. 🔥

strength will decrease slighly on a cut no matter what u do tho, but do what u can to slow it down :) great tips btw
yo bro I'm curious are you natty ? because I want to achieve your physique if so
Dont be confused guys or scared, you’re losing muscle size not muscle itself.
Music background please

How can I lose something I don't have
I went from obese to now skinny fat, I cut my calories way too drastically
But it also Depends on how high your body fat is, if you cut on a higher calorie decifit you can loose about 2 % of body weight per week, without getting weaker in the gym, or am i Wrong?

i started working out about a month ago and i was wondering about this but i’m glad it came up so i know what to look out for in the future
but what if u still eating 1.5/3g of protein per kg of bodyweight and still doing the same workout routine, just adding cardio?
No human being on earth needs 3g per kg. There's no study that supports the claim that anything above 1.5g/kg is any more helpful at all.
Are you have any connection with kerala?

fuk everything he said happened to me thanks for helping me realize that i was doing it wrong :)
The second tip isn't exactly right
It depends on stress levels and mood
Sometimes even the music which you play
The first sign is you search for signs that you're losing muscle
How do I see that I’m not losing more than one percent of my weight 🤔
You weigh yourself everyday and use maths which you learned in school?
Pro tip: Use juice when you starting cut phase🤡
Malayali ano🌝
Muscle loss in a cut is extremely overrated. You never actually just lose muscle, you can re gain any " loss muscle" really really fast.

if you are growing still, cutting is a terrible idea. bulking is better. do clean bulk so you dont affect your height and growth
@@oofutile3530 alright thanks
@@doldemenshubarti8696 ok thank you for the advice
Bro are you from kerala.
Yes
and remember to cut, you don´t need to do less weights and more reps.
that´s simply stupid
