Keep it simple: eat enough protein, lift heavy weight, don’t under-eat.
Fat Loss With Philip How about when cutting?
Fat Loss With Philip
How much protein do you need when dieting
.7-1 g/lb of body weight per day
i need 2000 cal of i eat 1600 calories will i loose fat and gain muscle??
It depends on your bodyweight.
If doing cardio sounds horrible to you, it's because you don't make it interesting. You don't need to run on the treadmill in the gym. Go swimming. Ride a bike. Run through the woods. Make it interesting for yourself.
Robert Markoš exactly! I love roller blading, dancing y hula hooping as forms of cardio 😊.
Robert Markoš I agree. I like riding a bike and I’m not talking about those stationary bikes at the gym, I’m talking about the ones you can ride outside. Stationary bikes are boring to me but outdoor bikes are fun. People have to try their best to avoid making excuses and find fun ways to be healthy.
What if you don't have a pool or woods or a beach nearby?
zeeotter100 do pushups
zeeotter100 You could get involved in a sport. You could jump rope. You could run in place. Be creative. Find what works best for you.

Ben Dover he is more like a sex doctor, even though he might be virgin

Title: HOW TO AVOID MUSCLE LOSS
Content: HOW TO AVOID MUSCLE LOSS when losing weight.
I feel betrayed.
Dang. You should get your money back.
Tbh, I think muscle loss only happen when you working out
See my points way up top. They're legit and work for anyone.
Same they had me in the first half not gonna lie
It Depends
I’ve lost 40 pounds and I think I’ve gained some muscle all thanks to you and other youtubers I’m pretty strong for a newbie 5 months training and dieting
Congrats!
PictureFit congrats to you too love your content when I found out your channel I watch you everyday now thx 🙏🏻
I love the fact that you guys mentioned "resistance training" as in "lifting" (gym) and "calisthenics" to preserve (and increase, of course) our muscles. When you really know what you are doing, expect only gainz every week you get.
The animation effects are getting better, and that Slowbro image.. .Excellent!
Thischannel deserves more than 100000million subs i love ur videos keep up the great work
Not learning anything new this time, but I'm glad since that means my style isn't a mess. Consistent various exercising and consistent good nutrition doesn't betray you.
Basically the key is consistency and being well-informed
im liking the new editing techniques. nice job!
Omg this is SO important, when i lose all motivation im always super scared i will lose everything
Kido.exe keep training
Don't cut calories cut sugar
A golden tip
Awesome content. Answered lots of my questions.
Great video. Keep it up man, I love your channel!👍🏼👍🏼
GREAT video and editing PictureFit. In addition to those awesome tips, keeping water intake around a gallon a day does a lot for muscle growth and retention.
Amazing video man. All good tips💪🏼💪🏼
I really needed this video a few months ago.... before I went on a cut without knowing what I was doing and losing a good portion of my strength and size
Not too late to correct the ship.
What about me who is called #TheMostRudderlessShip? Thanks, @PictureFit, for EVERYTHING!
Love having this channel that I know I can trust when the bro-science can be so contradictory with itself and vague
This video came right on time for my cutting plan
Muscle loss has always been an issue when I have been traveling and did not have the time to workout sufficiently.
Not having a caloric deficit while walking for the whole day around is pretty hard, because you gotta sit down and eat a lot. Additionally, when you are traveling and seeing new places, you easily forget about food.
Thank you, this answered my wonders about proper body recomposition, metabolic slow down, cheat days in just 6 minutes!
I love your videos! Thank you!!! 💪🏻
I sometimes merge work out days with cheat days.
I love it.
Makes ya earn the "treat", increases insulin release when most useful and a sped up metabolism should be able to burn the treat better .
Came in within twenty minutes of posting to find almost six thousand views!! Watching form Nairobi Kenya! Love the content
Just right when I need it. Thank you bruh
Missed you man!
Great video for beginners - experienced.
Can always count on picture... God bless
The music is everything.
Right before holidaytime, damn
AWESOME VIDEO. THANKS!
Thanks dude for the last pro tip
Great video as always. Would you consider doing a video on flax seeds? That might be too specific, but perhaps cover it as part of some larger food category?
Congrats for 1M subs in advance
“I started doing my cardio with no hands”
1-2 week diet breaks have been a life saver for me on a diet. Better muscle retainment, improved mood, improved hormones (leptin etc), strenght gains, better sleep, lower stress and able to keep cutting on higher calories after the diet break . Highly recommend everyone to do diet breaks instead of refeed days. Or you can do both if you want to :)
Based Exo so u eat whatever during the break??
I personally eat the same foods, just a bit more of them so im eating at maintenance instead of deficit (nothing wrong with adding a bit of dirty foods if you want to).
Man if you say that you need a break it means that your diet is HARSH and I can guarantee you that after a few months/years you will never have a diet again bcs whenever you ll think about it you ll get sick. You should make for yourself a big nutrition plan that you can respect your entire life, not onlya few years. That nutirtion should contain foods that can feed you hunger for sweets or other things but in a healthy way.You should also have 3,4 options to eat at any meal so you don t have to eat the same thing. (After every workout I ate poultry and rice for 3,4 months, 5 days a week and after I stopped whenever I see poultry I feel like I am going to vomit)
sounds like you listen to jeff with your "nutrition plan"
Asger Rasmussen Yes I do, and is easier and more durable to have a longer nutrition plan
Nothing else matter than having gains!!
Great video again! What about when you, due to circumstances, had a few days of a too low deficit (say -1000)? Would having a refeed day (or a few) be useful, to minimize muscle damage to some extent?
Thanks guys!
I used to do cardio a lot but in my late teens I started getting migraines after any cardio so I just do weight training, I think diet is a lot more important that actual activity, since I’m fairly lean
Nice going with the animations 👍
Thanks!
Great video!
Thanks!
I was losing weight but it took me some time to realize my bmr and muscle mass kept reducing.. I kept having a calorie deficit everyday.
I’m glad I watched this video. Time to change things.
what did you change? also how's it going
Hi I am trying to lose muscle mass with weight can u tell me what workout and diet u followed for this?
The calories part goes for weight gain as well, for most people always see getting fit as a part of losing weight and not gaining that. I used to be 134 pounds and I now sit comfortably at 161 with no additional weight on me. 3000+ calories a day, carbs, water, salt, and 6 days a week of 2 hour long work outs and I gained that weight in muscle in only a few months, about half a year. For all you skinny folk that’s tired of being the skinny guy or gal I advise you work hard man, no metabolism can keep you from gaining muscle if you work hard for it.
Thanks bro for this tips, It helps a lot!! 💪🏽👍🏽
I truly admire your video presentations! makes things stick in my head as motion pictures are more effective for me lol ... So I have a question for you, if I may...;
I fly as cabin crew and due to my erratic schedules/ timezone changes and sometimes experiencing all seasons in one day, the workout/ eating regimen goes haywire and quite possibly my circadian clock has lost track of time long ago... Is there any workout/ eating formulae you might know to keep the body away from stress-eating?
Love the music picture fit
My favourite fitness channel ♡♡
Great video with those who are considered hard gainers
Can you do a segment on the aging athlete? Aging and muscle loss? Over age 65? Good informative programs. Good WORK..
I would like to see a video on the study of the effects of large amounts of cardio and the effects on musscle mass and stamina. I see so many videos on big guys saying too much cardio brings down the size and strength.
i like this video. very informative too.
Broo nice video. So a video about powerlifting ( workout programm) advantages and disadvantages etc
Gotta love my newbie gainz
I've been in the state of newbie gains for the last 4 years smh
Thanks for the video
Could you please make a video about training routines ?
You got the best V-Taper!
;)
Thanks for the video! I have one question, it involves swimming. Where does swimming fall in the spectrum between cardio and resistance training? I hurt my back/neck a few years ago and since I started working out it got worse..so I stopped doing weights and picked up swimming, now I'm not sure that is the right way not to loose all my Muscle but I really enjoy it and I feel great.
4:54 lmao "TF is cycle" 😂🤣🤣
Intermittent fasting! I've been doing OMAD for more than 2 months now. Lost 7% body fat and gain some muscle
be consistent and don’t eat garbage basically
Intermitting fasting I'm currently doing. 18/6 I eat plenty but I do cut my portions of non-keto lately (except I eat regular meat, because it's already expensive as it is and I don't eat grains bread but might change this and I eat dairy but I cut that a bit lately) and I try to avoid high calory foods. I take one shake, I probably can do 2 shakes.
I don't eat before during and after my workouts, I work out every other day for 3 hours cardio and weights. cardio 50 min to 1 hour.
I started with cutting junkfood and high on calory foods for almost 3 months now, and currently am taking foods that will prevent any auto immune disease (hence the fasting).
Trying to lose weight at hard to lose it at places.
Be patient, I don't know, I think you should be able to lose a lot of weight in 6 months time, like what I've seen I've lost by now, in the start it's faster but still, I think in 6 months time you should be able to transform nicely. You need results for your work otherwise you'll just lose interest at some points, like keep it up for 6 months, that isn't easy.
When you have low fatpercentage in your body, I think then things really can be set off. Then you can just start gaining muscle. Until then your goal should be losing fat primarily.
And I'm not crazily Keto in sense of, if I drink tea, I drink it with flavour if I want to and if I want honey, I'll take it (inside the 6 hours). But I do take the fasting pretty serious the last 4 days so. If I can keep that up for a month, that's 8 kg lost, so. kinda worth it because I hit a plateau in weight loss.
Something strange that always worked for me is making sure I have enough protein, and check my weight before I sleep. If i'm +-1KG above the weight I want to be the next morning, then I'm good. Because I almost always lose around 0.9-1.1KG in my sleep.
What i did was i went for cardio every other day after lifting weights it's pretty effective in losing weight and maintaining you can just alternate the meal plan too high carb and low carb days
Watched a video shot fasting while maintaining muscle. The body has become used to going days without eating from the hunger gather days while maintaining muscle to survive.
I pride myself in making I don’t listen to the annoying video ad. Thank goodness CZcams lets us double tap the right side of the video to skip 10 seconds. I just keep double tapping till he stops droning on about whatever squarespace does.
I keep my protein the same throughout the entire cut. After breaking a few plateaus around 10% bf than I’ll up my protein beyond 1g per lb.
On vacation from today and 2 weeks on. Won’t be able to go to the gym and already getting nervous about how I’ll do when I come back lol 😐 I guess I’ll do some push ups and “dumbbell” curls with water bottles or something to minimize the loss as much as possible 🤷🏼♂️
What would you recommend for someone who wants to do carb cycling but goes to the gym every day? I know I need to cut carbs and a few days later eat an excess, but how should I cut since I go every day and what days should I bulk up? Thanks man. Love the videos!
6:11 Sleeep! That's what my brain is saying too because I stayed up too late last night.
Cool video
After a long time, damn!!!
I understand a lot of people don’t do cardio for athletic purposes, but I don’t understand why so many people hate cardio so much. Like I usually box 5 days a week and I run 2-3 times a week on top of that. Improving my cardio for boxing kinda motivates me to do it more but even besides that it’s not that bad
It would me pretty dope if you could make a video about intermitted fasting and especially how to cut with it. Nice Video though! :)
Thanks
Hey PictureFit, great vid. Would you consider revisiting the topic of intermittent fasting, specifically the pros or cons to muscle growth? I'm a skinny guy and I'm not sure if it's something for me.
Yep, definitely will be revisiting this one.
Me gustan mucho tus vídeos, aprendemos demasiado. saludos de México
Summer is over and my bench has decreased a lot. My football player friends that I was stronger than are now above me and I feel very insecure. It’s a weird feeling knowing you can lift something, but when you try you can’t. All the equipment I had at home during summer was a dumbbell. I curled most days all summer. I’m upset
I got my answer, I had lost like 1.5kg of muscle while being inactive for 3 months where my diet was bad being on calorie deficit mostly and little to no protein.
So if you are inactive, dont be on extreme deficit yet try to take protein when possible
It’s recommended to go on a keto(high fat) diet for short-term weight loss. Whether eating more health fats or protein to lose body fat, either way less carbs is generally better.
Wonderful music.
when will you do a video on muscle injuries their types and treatments?
Thanks for using international units
Another great video man. Love your content. Just curious... Do you draw these images or do you find them online?
I draw them.
PictureFit that's really cool. What program do you use?
Photoshop
1:40 take it slow bro,and puts slowbro(pokemon)on screen that's genius
A good video to make would be proper joint care to avoid inujry, common joint injuries, and recovering from joint injuries.
Drinking a protein shake and watching, fuck yeah!!
And here I am trying to gain weight
Wish I would have watched this before bootcamp....
Who's here becuz of corona lockdown?
Has somebody tips for keeping muscles while being sick
Do a video about isometric exercises
1:05 what was that? Some Tyler Durden quick flash?
how does donating blood affect your ability to exercise during any given time? What can we do to better prepare ourselves for giving blood and still maintaining an exercise regimen? what are the importances of giving blood and are there any health benefits for those donating? and who benefits when we give blood? I love the way your videos are structured and I really believed that you could put forward an excellent example and answer all of those questions respectively
As long as you are generally healthy, you body can regen your donated blood within 6 weeks. You get no benefits. It depends on who you donate your blood to but is usually goes to those in need from trauma or surgery. After you donate make sure to drink lots of liquids and eat something with iron (meat, chicken, fish, tofu, spinach). I have no study to back it up but I've worked out an hour after donating (not suggested) and not noticed any loss in performance.
Love your illustration so adorable 😳
Will we ever see you and your gains? I want to see the man giving us our advice.
Akash Saha the Lord himself
he doesn't have gains thats why he can't reveal himself and he'll lose all of his subscriber
Akash Saha right
Akash Saha did you just assume its gender
That's a pointless request. Knowing the key principles for keeping mass doesn't hinge in any way whatsoever on the person reciting those principles to you.
