If this was helpful and you would like to send me a tip as a thank you: venmo @Brett-Magnuson-3 - Zábava
Found this model on the side of the road on my drive home. Absolutely clogged with dog hair. This video helped me rescue that vacuum and put it in functional order.
Took mine apart last night to clean it up. Today I couldn’t remember what went were so your video helped me. That inner gasket gave me a hard time tho and I missplaced the spring. Got so frustrated I wanted to throw the whole thing away 😂
Lol glad it was helpful! Putting together is always the most challenging part. ☺️
Thank you so much for this great video! I took apart, cleaned and put back together my vacuum and I didn’t even have any leftover pieces!! 👏🏻 😉This is a big deal because I struggle putting together a cardboard box with instruction and I did this without any help from my husband and I’m super excited about it!! 😁
you're welcome
303 makes a good rubber reconditioner after rubber gaskets are cleaned just soak gaskets in there for 30 min don’t go beyond an hour and they come out like new pliable easy to set back in..Mahalo for the video, Aloha from Hawaii🤙🏽🏄🏽🗿
I just did this! DC50 - 4 yrs of crud washed right off in a sink full of blue Dawn....so satisfying!
In a million years, I would have NEVER gotten that little gray button back on...thank YOU! 😊😘 (7:44)
Hahahaha thanks! I’m glad it was clear enough instruction to help you! 😊
I have one of this DC33's that I've got for 40 bucks... Just had to clean it thoroughly... and its has been running smoothly since 2018...
Thanks! My vacuum smells so much better!
Thank you! I had got mine apart okay before I found this video but getting it back together was another thing. Thank you!
yep that's the hardest part always! glad it helped
Thanks for an excellent video and clear instructions. I appreciate what you are doing. I hope you are enjoying it! I'm about to try to replace my DC33 clutch, but figured I'd deep clean at the same time. This was excellent.
Great instructional video! Detailed and very well explained. Made cleaning a breeze. Thank you
Well done video!!! Thank you for all the details.
Great video! I hope I don’t screw up my vacuum when I try this 🤣
LOL good luck! let me know how you make out! :)
So did you screw up your vacuum?
That was terrific! Thank you!
Really helpful thanks. Mine was full of plaster dust, won't be using it for that again! Hopefully this process plus stripping down and washing the hose, and buying two new filters will help. I used silicone spray on all the seals
That was a really good video man 👍🏼
Thank you!
Excellent video!!!
Thank you so much for the tutorial😊
Awesome video! Thank you so much!!!!
YW
thank you great job
Fantastic!
Helped a ton!! Thank you for sharing the info!!
Best video ever!!
Thank you
Is there anywhere I can buy that piece you took of with that mallet? I purchased this second hand and had no idea I was missing that part. Also no red button with spring either. Thank you
Can you make a video for the Dyson animal canister cyclone? Thanks for your very helpful channel.
Give me a model number
Thank you for your video, I can watch and learn how to disassemble it, I want to record some simple repairs but can't get the point, can I ask what phone or camera did you use to shoot?
Just an iphone
Thanks so much for providing a very informative video. The problem I currently have is there's a lot of warm air coming out at the interface of the base and the plastic cylinder. This is making me think that it's causing a significant loss of suction. Any thoughts please?
That's where the exhaust air should be coming from so what you're describing is normal. A loss of suction may be pointing to a clog or dirty filters.
What do you recommend to wipe the seal down with? Any specific recommendations for armor all ? or any other alternatives
I have heard since making the video that armor all causes rubber to wear down. I haven’t experienced this myself. But the goal is to get the rubber a little more lubricated for ease of install. Food grade spray silicone could work well too
I have a DC26 can I do the same breakdown as the DC33?
The dc26 is different than the dc33. I’m not quite sure if the tear down process is similar or not. I don’t think it is. I haven’t seen one in a while to compare.
Could you tell me the name of drillbit to remove the top the lip from the top?
Can you specify a timestamp of what you are referring to?
Torx T15
Where can we buy the spring button
Which one exactly? Can you site the time stamp?

I would rather just take my vacuum cleaner to Dyson repair shop official Dyson repair shop Because these vacuums are extremely expensive I have a Dyson DC 28 airmuscle and Dyson 33 vacuum they are both my favorite vacuums but the Dyson DC 28 air muscle animal Is it very expensive vacuum cleaner this thing is super strong it’s better than all Dyson vacuum cleaners it’s the elite version
Whatever suits you! Consider yourself fortunate to still have a functioning DC28 😊
