  • Real Madrid are Champions League winners for the 14th time in their history, doubling the record of AC Milan (7 titles). While Liverpool had the better opportunities, based on their performances throughout the tournament, Real Madrid are more than deserving winners of the tournament.

2:55 when u say deliberately tackle they were trying to tackle the ball not the player if they r going for the player than it’s a pen. So there for they did go for the ball and should stand as goal.

The offside should have not be called cause Valverde didn't touch the ball, it went off 3 players. 1st was Allison, then Konate & then deflected of the other guy to Benzema. It was a fumble between 3 players. Alison hit the ball to Fede Valverde, Konate tackled the ball away from Fede but it hit his team mate which deflected to Benzema.
It was a goal that should not be considered for offside.

We see several examples of passing the ball unintentionally, but yet it isn’t an offside. 1. When the ball is ment to be played back to the GK but it gets intercepted by an attacker which is in an offside position or not, no offside. 2. When a shot is blocked but falls to an offside player, no offside. 3. When the shot hits the post or is saved by the GK and falls to an offside attacker, again no offside. Furthermore, there is no pass back rule when the ball is unintentionally played back to the GK, so why should intention matter for the offside rule in this case?

Out of the top 5 favorites, who beats 4 and on the process and still doesn't get credit and respect they deserve? It's only a Madrid or Spanish teams. If any of English teams have done the wonder, English media would have erupted the social media and bombarded it with heavy praise. They would have never mentioned their slow approach to the game or lack of pressing style, instead, they will always focused on the tactical approaches and technicalities embodied in the matches.

@@evald5373 nah, it's not objectively clear. In 1999, Man United had to defeat Juventus, Inter, Barcelona and Bayern in the group AND the knockout stage. Meanwhile in 2010, Inter Milan had an average age of 30. They weren't in their prime and were physically behind the rest of the competition. Yet they defeated the English, Russian, Spanish and German champions on their way to the title. Real's victory this year is on par with those but not objectively harder.

The thing about real Madrid is that they have 2 fast players(vini and mendy) that can exploit the wings that's why they are willing to absorb every attack coz they have vini in the counter that is fast and can dribble past defenders and now can score goals
Vini had problems with Konate though,
And Diaz was neutralized and carvajal adjusted pretty well

those are not similar situations because Kane is offside from a pass whereas Benzema got the ball from a tackle which is a deliberate attempt to play the ball because tackling is playing the ball no? otherwise it's a foul. there is clearly a sliding scale of "deliberate" if a tackle isn't considered to be. even if it's a deflection off Fabinho, it came to him off a teammate who was deliberately trying to play the ball. seems like a bad interpretation of the rules from the refs on the night (to me)
