Great to hear Big Eck sounding so well, rested and positive. Congrats on your NY honour Alex.
Great interview Peter. Fae a Dundee fan in Hong Kong. Thankyou.
Even as a die hard Celtic man, it’s just not possible to dislike big Eck. Underrated legend on & off the field of Scottish football.
never miss an episode peter your guests are always top notch you are so funny with roughy, tam and big lee
Really enjoyed that was a solid centre half and a great manager those two league titles won on last day took great bottle and then winning cup in England.
Great to hear from Big Eck. Probably the most underrated manager in the history of Rangers Football Club. Helicopter Sunday one of my greatest memories in football. Great times when I look back.
One of the most memorable moments I've ever had watching football. I had the France game on the TV but muted and I had put Peter's commentary on Radio Clyde. He was about 3 seconds behind the footage.
The ball was in the Scotland half and he started screaming about a goal, and I thought for half a second that France had scored. Then saw the ball drop to McFadden and the wonder strike as Peter is screaming 'pick it out of the net Landreau'. Sensational.
Brilliant times of Scottish football both players and personalities. Smashin times whatever team was supported
Brilliant to hear big eck fantastic interview peter!
Loved eck as a wee bairn when I started supporting Aberdeen when we won our first premier league title..amazing times, great footballer eck was, and manager too.
Didnae realise how lovely a guy Alec is. God bless ye.
Great interview. Absolute gent
Good interesting interview. What a great guy Alex McLeish is.
Big Eck is right, one second and that's it. Honest, great stuff. Thanks Peter.
He put a brilliant team together at hibs they were a joy to watch
Great guy, I remember playing for Dyce Boys Club in the Aberdeen juvenile leagues with his son Jon, often saw the big man and Jill standing at the side line’s watching. Jon use to always have the best boots, stand outs were Val handy don’s Lee Richardson a midfielder the the dons at the time.
2003&05 were great years and the Lovendkrands final
A played in Dallsetter pitches infamous pitches faster up the drum played and scored many great goals for some great boys clubs
A watched the game and what a performances an achievement that must be echoed again it's only eleven v eleven
And wee definitely need to double the size of the league they have great fan based and some great goals being scored and grass pitches double the size double the excitement
It's a bright future for Scottish football and the Saudis will support is financially and build a side and league to compete with the English super league we will be the Scotland super league
Amazing player and an amazing team ABERDEEN,A CAN'T REMEMBER RANGERS DOING ANYTHING EVEN CKOSE TO THAT NEVER MIND CLOZE
"The helicopter is changing direction!"
What a moment.
Thanks Eck and Peter for the memories.
See it can be done and still can it's the winning mentality repetition on striking passing chipping moving ,REPETITION ,MAKES PERFECT
mon the hoops get it right up yee
Anyone can beat anyone except Rangers ,and all the rest of Scottish team the bottom side should be able to compete at the highest kevel
...or a Strachan.
And who knows the Saudies might invest in our league and build top of the Range stadiums and training facilities,a can see that happening soon and surprised it's not happening now ,but Mark my words the are going make us a very attractive proposition for players to want to play

Ratio.
Regimental
Scottish teams should be ruling Europe and if you don't think so then get off the bus ,get the youngsters from gang wE to playing football
Given high were the bottom of the league the standard in Given was shi t all the plAyers you need were up the Drumchapel and that's a fact
